If I could give negative stars, I would. This was hands down the most incompetent, dishonest, and frustrating experience I've ever had at a dealership--and that's saying a lot. I brought my car in on August 1, 2025 at 8:00 AM for a front passenger door that wouldn't open. The moment I walked in, I should've turned around and left. Their computers were down, so instead of doing her job, the service advisor handed me a clipboard and had me manually write down everything while she just sat there, totally indifferent. Zero urgency. Zero professionalism. She told me it would take 3-4 hours to diagnose. After hearing absolutely nothing all day, I called--got transferred to the service department--only to reach a voicemail box that was full. You can't even leave a message at this joke of a service center. I was nearby, so I physically went in to check. Guess what? They had already diagnosed the issue (broken door handle), but didn't bother calling me. Then came the kicker: they slapped me with a $200 diagnostic fee--for a vehicle under warranty--without telling me ahead of time. Not during scheduling, not during drop-off, not ever. It felt like a shady, back-alley scam, not a certified dealership. I've been a long-time customer through several ownership changes, and I've never been charged like this. Apparently, transparency and loyalty mean nothing to Dan Vaden. I was so fed up, I took the car straight to another CDJR dealer the next day and traded it in. My story is similar to the experience most customers have with Vaden Chevrolet, specially the Service Department. They couldn't have been more parasitic when I purchased the truck. In November 2024 I went to the scheduled service . Their system stated that it was rotation and oil change, I was charged. I looked at the tires and based my experience with the truck, I knew the tires had not been touched, they charged for it and I paid. I had two tire shops agree that the service had not been performed or the front tires would not wear the way my tires have. The result was damage to my tires due to their dishonesty and many hours of my time trying to get them to be adults and take responsibility for the scam. DO NOT BUY A BOLT FROM THEM, MUCH LESS A CAR OR TRUCK. I regret ever stepping into this amalgamation of liers, cheats and most of all, completely incompetent staff. read more

I can't recommend Dan Vaden Brunswick enough. I was looking at the same truck at two other dealerships and test drove a truck but couldn't make it work numbers wise at both dealerships. I messaged Mark Layfield at vaden in Brunswick and told him how I wanted this truck at another dealership. He in four hours notice was able to send someone to go get that truck 80 miles away and bring it back and have it washed and gas and ready to go. I did all the negotiation over the phone and by the time I got there I filled out a credit app while that was going. I did my test drive, I came back, signed some paperwork and drove off in my new 2025 Chevy Silverado LT trail boss. Mark is the man to go see, he worked some magic. read more

I am not happy at all with my purchase of a 2021 Hyundai Kona through Vaden Chevrolet. We came back to the dealership just days after purchasing the vehicle to point out there are no back seat headrests and the phone charger cover was broken. I was basically told it was my problem. When I spoke further with David and Klein I was told they would look into it and get back to me. That was three weeks ago, I have not heard from anyone. I explained that I need the headrests back there for my dog to be tethered so he is safe in the vehicle. It's not for aesthetic purposes. This is very bad first impression of a dealership. I take my vehicle to Dan Vaden because i was told i rec lieberman free oil changes for the life of my vehicle. I also have an extended maintenance warranty on my truck. To this date nothing i have had to rep air has been under multiple thousand dollar warranty and now there are telling me that my oil changes were due 2 years/ 20000 miles. In December of 2022 we bought a used 2020 vehicle. The price was better than we found anywhere else. The used car manager, Travis, was very helpful and the salesman Tom Wilson delivered the car, sight unseen, to me in Charleston, SC. It was beautiful and just as described. I signed all the papers accepting the vehicle and the deal was done. Shortly thereafter I realized that a warning light was on, and later found out the cruise control would not work. Unfortunately, the sensor in the front of the vehicle was not working properly and was causing these issues. When I called Travis, he immediately put me in touch with Mark in service, and Vaden fixed all this, at their cost, despite me having paid and signed for the car! They certainly did not have to do this. This dealership is excellent. They provide great prices and great customer service. I will buy from them again. read more

I recommended this company based on my experience buying a new car. I obviously was not aware when my son asked me about buying from Dan Vaden that new cars and used cars are totally different. My son (last name Wilson)bought a used Ford F150 truck. Within 3 weeks it had to go in to the shop. Not only were they unhelpful and rude in getting him in to get it fixed they refused to supply him with a replacement vehicle, claiming they "had nothing available". After two weeks of him paying for his own rental vehicle to the tune of $1,400 I called and showed out. They put him in a "Trax?" tiny SUV for the remainder of the time the truck was in the shop and promised to reimburse him the $1,400. Now months later they refuse to talk to him on the phone or return his phone calls. Neither the General Manager or Service Manager has the guts to admit how badly they treated this young man who has a family depending on him. SHAME ON YOU DAN VADEN BRUNSWICK!!!!!! You will never have to worry about anyone from my family bothering to buy from you again. Just had a local dealership correct some "shoddy workmanship that was cobbled together" (their words) by Vaden Chevrolet. Not only that, but for some reason prices in Georgia are twice as high as Michigan, plus it didn't take two weeks as it did at Vaden Chevrolet too. Service in Michigan took less than three hours. We were traveling from the Florida Keys to Virginia with the scout troop (18 people and 4 cars) when our car had an electrical problem. We were originally told that they would get us in immediately because of our situation. It was at least an hour before they looked at the car. When they found the problem, they delayed in starting the repair until we confirmed our extended warranty and until the woman in the service department "could get a minute to call the warranty company" to see if it was covered. It was going to be paid for either way. That took another hour. All in all 5+ hours to get a relay part that they had in stock replaced. We had to send all of the scouts and the other 3 cars ahead so that they could get home at a reasonable hour. The woman in the service department was unfriendly and unconcerned about making sure we were helped in a timely fashion. One star only because zero stars isn't an option. read more

Absolutely wonderful experience. Was shopping online/via phone from Jacksonville. Originally dealt with Tyler and he made the experience very seamless. He gave me an itemized bill for the car before I even got there and it took all of the stress out of car buying. The dealer fees were a lot less than some of the other places I contacted. This place isn't trying to rip you off. I wasn't able to get up to Brunswick for two days but Tyler allowed me to put a deposit down on the car and I knew no one else would buy it before I got there. I came two days later to pick it up. When I got there, I was greeted by Jonas and he allowed us to take a test drive and was very nice and welcoming. He introduced us to Olivia, who brought us through the financial process in the most seamless way possible. It was so quick and she was nice and fun to talk to. I was worried about my check not clearing until the next day or so and she was very accommodating. She made the whole process so easy. My dad, who hates car shopping, said it was the easiest car buying experience he's ever had in person. Also, I was surprised to learn that I was given a one year warranty with Vaden. That was unexpected but very nice to know. Overall, it was a wonderful car experience. It takes a little over an hour to get to Vaden from Jacksonville but I would definitely do it again because it was absolutely worth it. read more

I needed some work done. I needed spark plugs on my cts. They lied about the measurements on my brake pads. Unsold coolant flush and brake fluid flush and injector cleaning and they changed my cabin air filter without clearing the debris on the intake. So I walked out with an $800 bill a quote for $1800. And I still need spark plugs. There is one service writer so you can't talk to anyone else and I'm not sure this person could even identify the parts that were quoted. Only come here if you want to waste your time and gas. Came to view a 2020 Chevy Trax that they had listed on Cargurus for $16,795, but it was listed for $23,000 on their website. I called & spoke with Sandy who told me that if I had a screenshot of the price on Cargurus, that they would sell it to me at that price. I asked her multiple times if she was sure that they would because I would be driving 2 hours out of town to come purchase the vehicle. She said yes & told me to ask for her when I arrived. When I got there, the salesman told me that Sandy was just the "internet person" and that I wouldn't be directly working with her, so he would help me. He tried to get me to give him my information to run my credit before I even test drove the car. Then he tells me "we just sold the car 30 minutes ago". He then tried to show me another Trax that had been in an accident and said he could get it for me at a similar price. His manager told me he would sell it to me for $19,000 because it was an upgraded model... was the car not an upgraded model when you drove it around the lot to show it to me? Since when are 16 and 19 similar numbers? These people did not sell the car, they just did not want to sell it for the price advertised and instead, wasted my time and gas driving two hours. I saw a certified pre own Cadillac online with a list price of $33,900. To purchase the car online including tax, tag registration and document fee was a total of $37,343.13 cash price. I choose not to purchase the car unseen and instead opted to test drive and purchase the car in person. Because I refused to finance thru Dan Vaden dealership and instead choose to use my credit union check. I was up charged a fee of $1897 for reconditioning bringing the total base price of the car to $35797 with an out the door price of $39236.01. The car was washed but was not fully fuel with gas, the oil read at 76%, the air filter read at 15% and the tire pressure read uneven measurements for each tire along with several chips in the paint. The $1897 reconditioned fee is a duplicitous charge. The sales rep Marcus was very rude and is self described "often seen as belligerent and rude but I don't care cause I'm a realist" and told me I could feel how it want to feel about it, it doesn't make any difference to him. He told me the finance team did not want to sell me the car at the internet price because the dealer would be taking a loss and the $1897 reconditioning fee is an up charge to everyone whether they like it or not. It allows the dealer to closely align to their true selling price that they want ignoring the internet price. He also refused service mid deal and didn't show me anything about the car beyond how to park, reverse and drive. I had a terrible experience and upon returning my rental to the airport, in general conversation mentioned I had just purchased a car at that dealership. Both the police officer I was speaking with and the airport employee recounted their own horror stories of purchasing cars at Dan Vaden dealership. Both said they would never recommend anyone to Dan Vaden dealership. I too would not recommend anyone to purchase a car at the dealership they do not honor their total cash price as seen online, and the sales rep I had was terrible. read more

I had a similar experience to the other unhappy customer. I inquired about a Silverado online and got an email from the business development person at dealership. He confirmed the price to me in an email and I made an appointment to go purchase the truck. After the test drive we sat down to make the purchase and were then told the price on the Internet was wrong. We then pulled the exact truck up on the Internet where it clearly showed THE VADEN PRICE $xx,xxx. The salesman proceeded to look me in the eye and state that the Internet price is wrong. I checked the following day and it still shows same price. False advertising. Sounds like I am not the only review with this same complaint. This was my third vehicle from Dan Vaden. Terrible experience all the way around. Traded my 2020 Ford F-150 (which was bought from them for $60,000) for a 2020 GMC 2500HD-$88,000 with 33,000 miles on it and it had so many issues that after 7 attempts to fix it or outright lie to me, they undid the deal and sold me a brand new 2022 Silverado 2500hd high country-$94,000. I thought my nightmare was over! It wasn't! Two days ago on august 15th, 2022 I brought the truck in for a routine oil change, the truck had been running and driving perfectly as a new vehicle should, until this incompetent dealership got their hands on it. A few hours after the oil change I notice a very obvious click/ rattle sound coming from the engine when accelerating. I immediately woke up the next day and drove back to Dan Vaden of Brunswick from Saint Augustine, Fl. The service writer came out and heard the issue and said they will handle it immediately. Here is where things get absolutely unacceptable: they take the truck to the back to be looked at and I went to lunch. I come back 25 minutes later from the Zaxbys across the street and the truck is out in the parking lot and that same service writer who heard the very obvious issue said the techs couldn't find/ hear anything. Complete 180 from what she said 30 minutes prior when she personally heard the sound and confirmed that with me. So the shop foreman and the tech come out,(both brand new employees) and I make sure they hear the sound, they confirm the sound and take it back into the shop. About 2.5 hours later I'm informed that they found nothing wrong and the sound is just a standard duramax issue after an oil change which is a bold faced lie. This was the trucks third oil change and there were no sounds after the other two. So I spoke to the Chevrolet master tech on site and showed him a video of the sound. He informs me that the shop foreman had showed him a video of the sound and wanted him to find a bulletin on GM's website that matched the issue,( presumably so he didn't have to fix it), he never looked at my vehicle because the shop foreman" determines what is and isn't going to waste their time" and I guess my brand new $94,000 vehicle from a three time customer wasn't important enough for the master tech to look at. I was sent away with the truck and it sounds like a clapped out 88 Silverado with 200,000 miles on it. This dealership recently hired almost an entirely new service department from the top down, the master tech informed me that they're all from ford and other brands and have "a lot of learning to do".unfortunately for hard working business owners like myself, I'm left with a truck that now click/ pop/ rattles every single time I accelerate. I spoke to Chevrolet corporate and they informed me this isn't normal and they will be calling Dan Vaden of Brunswick. I sincerely advise anyone and everyone to stay far away from this dealership. I cannot believe after everything I've been through with them that they screwed up a routine oil change and then lied to my face and claimed they didn't cause the rattle sound that my truck still has right now. Absolutely disgusted with this dealership. The only pleasant dealing was with my salesman Keyone. He was so professional and delightful. That's where it ended. The sales manager Jonas, lied and was derogatory. He lied about interest, he lied about monthly payments, he increased my down payment without permission. Did not adequately supply the bank with the proper information that was given to him, causing an absolute nightmare. When spoken to, he stated "I have seen your bank statements, you have the money". Afterwards my account was transferred to Olivia in finance. I decided to sever my relationship and return the vehicle for a down payment refund. This refund was pushed off for nearly a week getting excuse after excuse until she actually stopped responding to phone calls or texts requesting an ETA on my refund. Pushing it off on others to tell me it will be processed next week. It took a phone call to corporate who were very eager to assist and promptly received a refund on my debit card by the lovely Sasha. She was absolutely helpful and diligent in getting my refund immediately. There was absolutely no need to push my refund off continuously when it merely took a swipe of the card. They were insulting and demeaning. I feel they fully took advantage of a woman purchasing a vehicle on her own. I will never do business with this shady dealership again and further more I will be sure zero of my patients friends or family ever do business here. It's an absolute embarrassment to the profession of car dealerships. I ended with an amazing car purchasing experience at NALLEY! They used the same lender as Jonas but yielding exceedingly different results as nalley is professional, honest and well organized. They are upfront with all of their dealings. He was supposed to call me to let me know for sure, but he never called. So I called the dealership, but he would not answer the phone. I was told not to buy from any dealership in Brunswick. Once again, work that was supposed to be done as part of the maintenance package was not done. This is the third time in a row that Vaden of Brunswick has failed to complete all of the work that I paid for. Specifically, the 30,000 mile package called for replacement of the windshield wipers, and a complete wash if the vehicle. Neither of those items was done. Additionally, I again left my vehicle early in the morning and waited all day, only to get a call at 4:00 pm and be told that it had been done for a while, but nobody had bothered to call me - because they were too busy. Finally, I was apalled to have the service manager cast dispariging looks, make rude comments and walk out when I presented a $100 GM service letter as partial payment for the work. I took my car up there for water damage in the intake end having get a new intake, intake manifold, and mass air flow sensor. After that indent to pick my car up and I'm driving out the dealership I hear a loud bang and oil is everywhere. So push back into the shop and lift it up and I see the rod stick out the motor... mind you they told me everything was good and they took it for a test drive and everything was good.. If everything was good why all of a sudden I need a new motor. I got my car brand new I shouldn't need one.. After this Idk if I even trust them to do my oil changes. read more

My wife and I just purchased TWO vehicles. A 2021 Tahoe and a 2020 Cadillac SUV. The vehicles are nice but the care, service and communication is terrible. Promises made and not fulfilled. Appointments scheduled and cancelled. No calls when another appointment was made and we were not told. Manager will not respond to numerous calls. One of my friends purchased from the manager and received much more. So either buy from the manager only and he may respond to you or don't buy. Maybe get it all written down and signed by everyone involved in the transaction and keep walking into the dealership until it is all done. It is obvious now that the sale is what matters and not the service at this location. Obvious that they will say whatever it takes to get you to sign. Hard to even keep up with their excuses and stories. Be careful. I just can't recommend this business. There are other dealerships that sell the same products. Pick somewhere Alee. read more
