Immediately after cleaning, my carpets looked good. Within a week or so, I thought I saw shadows of the stains (the reason I called for cleaning in the first place) but had more important things to deal with - so I didn't call them back. When the old stains really became apparent, I called DanCare back and was told that their guarantee was only for 10 days and it would cost another $175 for them to come back. After pleading with the scheduler, the technicians came back to look at the stains that had come back. They suggested that they could get them out but I had to pay the usual $175 for them to get the stains out and REDO the job. WHAT? (Why didn't they get those spots out the first time)? I declined. A friend of mine suggested I use a product called FOLEX (Carpet Spot Remover) which I did and this stuff removed the stains. Lesson learned! read more

I have used Dan Care for many years and this latest incident is why. I had a bad stain that didn't come up today n one of my bedrooms at a rental I own. David sent a crew out for a second time free of charge, to try to get it up it was still unresolved. I had a tenant moving in to my property. It still did not come up the tenant was very unhappy so David sent a team and a manager over to personally review the carpet and also redo all the carpets in the home free of charge to try to keep the tenant happy All carpets in the house were cleaned again free of charge and the smile on my tenants face was unimaginable she was so appreciative for this excellent customer service and I appreciate Dan Care and all they do. Unfortunately that particular stain didn't come out but the rest of the house looked amazing and they tried to do everything to get it out. When we got our carpeting 6 years ago, the installer recommended a carpet cleaning service to cover the warranty. That company did all the carpeting in about 45 minutes. Zip zap. But there were a couple spots that never came out. Plus, it was new, so it looked great, anyway. This year, we got DanCare Carpet Cleaning. Wow! What a difference! Dan spent a lot of time on the steps cleaning not jus the walking surface but also the risers. He went over the living room twice -- it was the most trafficked area. We can overlook the living room from our loft style 2nd floor. Spectacular! Now we know how a professional carpet cleaner works. We're learning. But that wasn't the best part. After 11 years, the tile in our kitchen, laundry room, and master bath was looking sad. The grout was dark where it should be light. We had Dan clean the tiles and grout and seal the latter. It looks new again. But more than that, at the entrance to the kitchen, the tiles had little clear circles on them that I could not get to come off with my steam mop. I thought they might be defects in the original tile. Dan made them disappear. The laundry room was especially challenging because that is where we keep the cat litter box. The tile and grout were always dusty looking -- almost impossible to clean without a scrub brush. Then it just had a smeared look. No more. Brand new! Finally: You get what you pay for. We paid more for the carpet cleaning than we had in the past, but it was more than worth it. Dan was here for 3 hours cleaning. There was a YELP review on Dan's that just said they were expensive. That is totally inaccurate. For what we got -- 3 hours of cleaning carpet and tile and making everything look new -- and in the case of the tile, better than new, it was a bargain. I didn't use this company because the person who answered the phone had no idea what she was talking about. She said they just did the high traffic areas in a room. I told her that wasn't what I needed. I needed to have the furniture moved and cleaned behind things. She said that cost $75 per room, but was up to the cleaner, who would decide. So I scheduled a time for an estimate. A week later, just before the estimate appointment, she called back and said that there was no charge to move the furniture. Not $75 per room or anything. I told her ok, then can I get an estimate? She said I had an appointment scheduled. I told her that the appointment was scheduled because she told me that the actual cleaners would tell me how much moving the furniture would cost. So after a little back and forth, she told me the cost/estimate. I told her I decided not to use this company. She was ill informed and had an unpleasant way of speaking. read more

His crew had already cleaned the carpets of my previous home, and this go-round, they took on the carpet and tile in our new place, and then they transformed our bathrooms. That's the main update to this biz review, our friggin' bathrooms, they look great! As it turned out, we were the very first customers to agree to a $500+ service where their friendly and personable technician, Nathaniel, spent all day cleaning and replacing grout, and shining up our bathroom tile. As it happened, they were also beta testing a new glass cleaner, and came over for an additional shower door cleaning -- free of charge -- that ended up working wonders. Initially, the estimate sounded steep, but when all was said and done, I was really impressed with the results, it almost looked like a new shower, and I realized that replacing the whole shebang would've been insanely pricey. Overall, from the owner on down to the guys that popped in to help out every so often, I really like this company, they're my go-to. read more

I have them clean my carpets every six months or so, they're always incredibly professional and very helpful when I ask about maintenance. My entire house (except for wet areas) is carpeted in a very light cream color. I got a puppy in May, the week after they came, and they just came again last week. From the puppy stains to the dirt he and my 5 years have dragged in, to the food he's managed to knock off the kitchen table, to all the footprints that we've left since we started wearing shoes in the house, they got it all. These guys did a great job in my rental home! I needed to have the carpet black light inspected (I have a dog) and washed before moving out. The property management company recommended them and I decided to go for it, since they guarantee the results. On the day of the inspection and on the day of the carpet cleaning they were on time (even early) and ready to begin the job. The service was friendly and very polite. I liked their honesty and their willingness to explain how the black light inspection works. If you ever need to have one of this done on your rental home, you'll understand what I mean. The final job was spotless! The rental house looked ready to go back in the market and I knew the management company would be happy just by looking at the carpet. Some other nice things to mention about DanCare: They give you protective plastic booties to go around your house and inspect the carpet once they are finished; After you're done inspecting the final job, they re-brush the carpet so it dries out nice and even; They take Visa or Master credit cards and they carry an iphone credit card processor with them, so you don't have to worry about sending your card information over the phone somewhere. read more

I'm wavering between 4-5 stars. I'll go with 5 because of the customer service. I found these guys on Angie's List where they get straight A reviews. I called to make an appointment and the owner was one of the most pleasant, professional people I've spoken to in a long time. I was able to easily make an appointment to have my two sofas, a love seat, and two chairs cleaned. My appointment was for 2:30 on a Friday afternoon. I arrived home at 1:50 and they were sitting on my porch waiting for me. They said the had written down the wrong phone number to let me know they could come early, so just decided to come. They said they weren't waiting long. Dan and an assistant placed a sheet of plastic and then a drop cloth over that in the middle of my living room and moved each piece of furniture from its place to that drop cloth to clean them. They cleaned each cushion, even the throw pillows that I didn't really intend for them to clean. They were in and out of there in a little over two hours. They did a great job. Just two things: they didn't get off all the car fur. However, the material of our sofa and two chairs is such that it's pretty difficult to get it all off. I can get more of it off than they did, but they did a pretty good job. The other thing was that Dan told me everything would be dry within two hours. The next morning, stuff was still a little damp. I think that one of them used more water than the other because some things were dry within that time frame while others weren't. It wasn't a big deal--I wasn't in a hurry for everyone to start sitting on them and getting them all dirty again. I didn't have any real stains--there were perhaps a few marker marks and a streak of glue, but those blemishes must have been water-soluble because Dan said they came out without issue (and I didn't point them out to him--this was his report). Great experience with DanCare. I'll definitely call them again. I'm slowly ripping out all the carpet in my house, with only two bedrooms left, so I don't need them for carpet cleaning, but I'd still recommend them. Also, they advertise that they clean tile. I'm trying to get my mom to give them a call for that. I paid just over $300 for two sofas (1 is large), a love seat (large), and two chairs to be cleaned--that's with a $25 off coupon, available on their website. read more

Dan and his 2 assistants did a great job of cleaning all our carpet last week after we skipped our yearly cleaning during the pandemic shutdown, and our carpets look terrific again now.
