We luckily had found Infinity which is right in Plainfield and close to our house. You'll find a great location and they have just redecorated the entire interior of the studio. There are several separate dance spaces for the different practices. The staff and manager seemed quite nice. They do offer both competitive dance and regular classes. If you are new to dance they can asses your child and let you know what would be a good starting point. Even after several years they still will want to watch your child to see where they stand. Thus far I have enjoyed the straightforward communication and expectations for the forthcoming year. My daughter is enjoying it and it must be thorough as she is a bit tired but she is doing 3 hours a day for 3 days a week. I look forward to seeing the new dances they plan and the competition season.

I just stopped by this great new dance studio for kids in Brownsburg. They have built a great…read morefacility from the ground up. They are offering new students classes starting at $55 per mont for a 30 minute class. I know the founder from my daughters previous dance studio. Very convenient location right by Kohl's. They are offering classes for young kids up to high school in a variety of styles. What a fun concept! Came here as a part of "Class Pass" for the 305 class. Everyone was…read morewelcoming and there was even free parking available downtown (what a treasure!) The 305 class was great as it included cardio and a little bit of planking/abs. I have heard some of the other classes are not necessarily a great workout since you spend most of the time learning choreo, but this class was basically Zumba. The instructor, Jill, was very high energy and welcoming--give that lady a raise! The facilities felt a little outdated, but I think it's a great value if you are a regular member for the $125/month for unlimited classes.
