The owners ARE very unprofessional and dismissive. Communication is horrendous and any questions or concerns (i.e. money, cancelled workshops, etc.) are met with defensiveness, excuses and use of "free" merchandise rather than real solutions. Beware they do not offer refunds, but you will get a "credit" for what THEY feel they owe you. It's extremely disappointing that a business that has been around for 21 years is ran so badly and doesn't have a better ethics. I'm sure they have a huge following, but this was my 1st experience with Planet Dance, and I will be dancing my happy ass elsewhere to get a more positive and honest experience.

I took classes from each of them. They put on wonderful shows every year. Amazing theatre performances. There was a time I was taking lyrical 1, hip hop, tap ballet jazz and theatre. I don't know how I did it. I no longer attend here as I have fallen out of my love for dance. But I highly recommend it. Especially theatre. They offer classes for pretty much anyone. Even sometimes adult classes. And classes for toddlers and remarkable movement.

Jess was my teacher and absolutely amazing. I was trying to keep up almost immediately and humbled. But that told me how great of a workout it was. I was happily sore the next day. The class was fun and so high energy. I felt welcomed immediately too by the staff and other class members. The space is absolutely beautiful. I plan to visit when I am in Cincinnati next. The dance cardio classes are my favorite: imagine dancing during a night out but you happen to get a work out in! They have custom DJ mixes and a fun light show during class. This year, Jess opened her flagship studio in Madisonville, and it is just incredible. You are greeted upon entering by a huge disco ball and the wonderful front desk staff. Then there are 2 studios, the Mainstage, where all the dance cardio and other cardio classes are, and the Backstage, where yoga and barre usually are. There's also a playroom, and child care is offered most mornings. All the instructors are amazing, you can't go wrong with anyone. If you need a place for your kid's birthday party or if you need an event space, they often are renting it out for that as well. I cannot recommend Dance Factory Fitness enough!

It doesn't matter! I signed up solo just to check it out, and by the end of the first class had made a new friend that stuck with me through the end. If you have ever wanted to try pole dancing, this is absolutely one of the best introductions I can imagine you experiencing. Talk about a judgment-free zone where you can just have fun, explore your sexy, and laugh at your mistakes! You go home every class having learned a new skill to test out, and by the end of the series, you've got a whole sexy routine that'll stop a man dead in his tracks and make him empty his wallet. The classes come with a pair of shoes (never got mine, sadly, because they didn't have my size), and if you're lucky you can sit and watch one of the advanced classes (I.e. professional dancers). I saw a girl climb a pole to the top of the room, touch the ceiling, and slide down like an angel. It was breathtaking. It truly doesn't matter how big or small you are, it's all about your attitude. If you WANT to do it, you 100% can. The last class we were encouraged to get all dolled up for our final performance and pictures, but to tell you the truth, if I had it to do all over again I'd just dress like a stripper for EVERY CLASS and throw myself into the role without holding back. Run...don't walk...in your stripper heels no less...to sign up for a class or two. Solo or with some friends, you can't go wrong. And don't hang out at the back of the room. Everyone who enters is required to be in socks despite a large portion of the play space being slick laminate. My child busted their chin requiring stitches moments after removing their shoes a prior time. And this past time I watched 3 kids simultaneously enter the laminate floor and fall. My child fell again even with grip socks. And only moments later a child used the slide and busted their face open pouring blood all over, and when a clorox was requested they said they only had baby wipes and seemed completely unphased by potential injury they could be held liable for. Overall: could be a fine space, but it's not safe and could use improvements. At the least laminate flooring should be covered everywhere and staff could at least feign worry in case of an injury.

I've been to few other zumba classes around but I stuck with RJ for the last year. For one thing, she's very friendly and makes you feel comfortable even when you first start and you think you're not doing as good as the rest of the class. She keeps sending those positive vibes throughout the class that encourage you to keep working. Her music choices are great, mostly a mix of Latin music but she also adds a little from the new hits and some international like belly dance and Bollywood. Rachelle has different classes like zumba toning which is my favorite now you easily burn out tons of calories and get your muscles toned at the same time. she also has zumba gold and she's been promoting for her body-sculpt bootcamp for a while now. I've never tried her bootcamp but will probably give it a try some time soon especially with the offers she has on it. and speaking of offers, follow her on facebook to keep an eye on the deals, punch card giveaways and free public classes she offers every now and then. her classes take place in different locations but I usually go to the Oakley community center since it's closer to where I live. my only complaint is that since her classes are becoming more popular, it gets packed at some peak times so she really needs to open more classes especially for the zumba toning class! RJ fitness zumba is totally recommended it's fun, healthy and you get to meet a lot of cheerful and happy ladies there :-)

I was fortunate enough to try the classes with their 8 classes for $99 deal. The bathrooms were clean, the facility was clean, and the staff was kind. Some people got codes to the door so they could enter for their classes, but I didn't get that luxury. The pricing for membership is decent (might be steep for others depending on your budget), but I wish they offered more medium/low income friendly options. Or at least extended the amount of classes you get access to. The scheduling is online which is great, but the availability was scarce for what I wanted to try. I'm recovering from an injury so the instructors were mindful and offered variations I could try instead that would've cause me pain. Still, I think gentle Pilates Reformer would've worked better for me and I didn't get to try that because it was only offered during the day and never after 5pm.
