The Havanna on Calle Florida was my daily stop on the way to work for a month!…read more Yes, yes... there are a million Havannas in Bs As, but this one was by far my fave. The hustle and bustle of Florida, the sights and smells coming from every direction... it all added to my amazing experiences here. Here are the things I loved: -The white chocolate mocha (I'm sure this isn't what it was called, but you get the idea) -The coffee! Holy shit, the coffee. -The galletitas are little lemon cookies, also known as heaven. -The alfajores were two graham cracker-like cookies with dulce de leche sandwiched in the middle, and then finally everything dipped in chocolate. Call me plain white trash, but they tasted like fancy moon pies... aka delicious. -The jar of dulce de leche was a wonderful souvenir to bring home to the States to re-live my days in Bs As. Sometimes I would get my coffee to go, but on really special days, I would sit and truly enjoy everything about Havanna... letting it all soak in.
