I always look forward to reurning to Dandelions. It can be a bit pricey but for the quality of their things it is worth it. Lot's of made in USA labels. They have great end of season sales and terrific gift ideas. They also havea the biggest collection of Brighton I have ever seen. Christmas is a great time to visit with all the holiday decor. Unfortunately, I had a bad experience while trying to shop here with my mom yesterday. There was an older woman working the shop and while I was trying to look at some jewelry she made me feel very uncomfortable. I read another review where someone felt discriminated against and that is exactly what happened to me. I was judged by the way I look. Once my mom realized what was happening, we left. My mom has shopped here before and use to really like this shop but unfortunately we won't be back. read more

I moved to Redding, CA in 2019 during the Covid pandemic. Stores were still opened and a friend took me to Dandelions. Since I moved from Louisiana, (close to the Texas border) I was very familiar with Brighton designs. So from the minute I stepped into this boutique, I felt a homey feeling. Anytime I shop here, they are always helpful and friendly without any kind of "attitude" towards you. Bright and friendly store, with great semi annual sales. I like unique clothing but I'm not a "fashionista" I was delighted with their helpfulness in pairing/matching up different articles of clothing to help me complete a look I was going for. This is my favorite "go to" place to shop when I'm in need of nice clothing. read more

I have a beard, and am admittedly a hippie at heart. I was extremely discriminated against and after too many annoying and probing questions, I told the employee that she was making me feel uncomfortable. She said I made her feel uncomfortable too, and I said "I'm going to leave". Really not a nice welcome, I would say avoid this store unless you are comfortable discriminating against people based on their looks. read more

Dandelion offers a nice selection of upscale clothes, jewelry and accessories. I did find a lot of items that I would have liked to purchase, however, the retail price on most was very high. Your best bet is the clearance rack (all sales final, though!) where you'll find a great deal and huge markdowns. I found an adorable Karen Kane tank that was regularly priced at $75 but was on clearance for $24. A courteous and helpful staff are more than happy to assist. I also loved the interior design - a very nice change from the big-box clothing stores around here. I will definitely be back to peruse the clearance items! read more

Very poor customer service, and we will never return!! My husband has been shopping at Dandelion purchasing Brighton gifts for me for years. I am spoiled because he usually spends a lot! Today we went in to do an exchange (with the receipt, but past 30 days), not expecting cash back, just an even exchange of product. Our requested exchange was denied and the crabby sales lady pretty much called me a liar. She said the tag on the sunglasses had makeup on it and she was not able to sell it again as new. I told her I tried them on but they were never worn, which was absolutely the truth. (The makeup could have been from anyone trying on the glasses, and she certainly could've put on a new tag.) As a business owner myself, I understand the value of a happy customer. She clearly does not. I would expect more from a store that sells very high end product. Too bad for Dandelion, because my husband really liked the convenience of the Redding store for holiday shopping. Good for me, there is a store in Chico that sells Brighton. read more

Very nice little boutique in downtown Redding. They carry women's clothing, and lots of great accessories.They have a large selection of 'Brighton' jewelry and have lots of cute gift items like candles and 'Tokyo Milk 'products. Very friendly and helpful staff. read more

Went to Dandelion yesterday, as I do every time I come to Redding from the Bay Area. I love coming here. The staff is friendly, they have beautiful home decor and a huge selection of clothing. I came in for the Archipelago candles and left with a few items of clothing and a gorgeous hat. Went to this shop for the first time this week... and last time..had thought about going several times and finally made it. The blonde lady that rung me up was pretty rude i thought. Really bad customer service. And I'm a nice person. I'm not used to being talked down to like that. Seems like a nice store but i won't be back nor will i recommend it to others. I felt like she looked down her nose at me. Very unpleasant experience. I went ahead with my purchase of over $150. but did not feel very welcomed. Not going back. I admit I am a Dandelion-a-holic. I love going in and seeing what they have. They got me hooked on JAG jeans and leggings. Their clothing is different from what you'll get at a mall. Classy, stylish and usually comfortable. They also have a Brighton boutique and carry a good selection of reasonably priced accessories. I love the holiday decor, mainly Halloween and Christmas. They decorate many trees and sell the ornaments. So many great pieces and looks, and the prices are good even if you don't wait until they go on sale. I've been shopping at Dandelion since I moved from So. Cal. to Redding a year ago. I was sad to leave my favorite beach boutique after many years of personalized service, stylish clothes, AND Brighton purses and jewelry. I felt the store had been transported when I walked into Dandelion. And now they've added Holly Yashi jewelry. It doesn't get any better than this! Great quality and stylish clothes, friendly and helpful staff, delightful atmosphere, and a trip there NEVER disappoints! I'm so pleased there is such a quality store in Redding. They have a terrific selection of Brighton Purses and jewelry, and if it's not on the shelf, they will order it from their catalog! I shop here on the regular as do many of my friends and co-workers. I have to say I am a bit disappointed in the customer service and mistake made on their end in pricing. I saw a large birdcage on the floor I was interested in and noticed the price was $88. I told the empl. I would take the smaller one up on the shelf (I couldn't reach) assuming it would be in the $55 range. When I checked out, it was rang up as $135. Not wanting to be rude and question her (I know, dumb of me) I paid the $135 thinking I must have read the larger cage wrong. It must have been $188. I kept it in my car for a couple of days thinking of returning and looking at the larger one to double check the price but didn't get around to it. I took the tag off, which was clearly marked $135 and figured I would just REALLY enjoy the bird cage considering the price. I returned a couple of months later and saw the larger bird cage on the floor still and sure enough, it was priced $88. I asked the employee if they kept the receipts in the computer under customer names, she said no. I explained what happened and that the product was mismarked, I had overpaid approx. $85- and her response was that I should have called or came back in immediately. That mistakes happen. Well the product was clearly priced wrong, so I don't think I'm in the wrong for not returning to question it. Very disappointed they didn't offer to speak to the owner/manager to make it right. I will not be returning. read more
