The bed was one of the most comfortable we have ever slept in and we liked the pressed cotton sheets. The hosts completely lived up to their wonderful reputation! We will recommend The Lancers highly to our friends.

The lovely accommodation showed that you care so very much about people and go out of your way to make the stay a really wonderful experience. (And what can we say about those cupcakes???). Your lovely place was the best we stayed at on our whole trip. Kind regards - cannot thank you enough.

Our room had a small balcony with a view of the garden. Their "large shower room" does indeed contain an impressively large shower. The glassed-in breakfast room (also with a view of the garden) is gorgeous, and the breakfast itself quite generous. We were in Chichester for a wedding and had a bit of spare time, and the hosts suggested a historic walking tour, which turned out to be fascinating. In all, a memorable experience.

My friend and I felt immediately at ease and at home. Julie and Neale were able to provide restaurant recommendations and directions for the local area. The guesthouse has an excellent location with the high street and beach just around the corner. There are no parking facilities at the guesthouse, but I was able to park on the nearby residential street with no problem and left my car there all weekend. My friend and I stayed in the twin room, which was very large and ideal to fit all of our belongings in. There are tea and coffee making facilities in the room, free wifi, hair dryer and complimentary toiletries, along with other helpful extra's in the drawers. The rooms are of modern decor and felt very luxurious. The complimentary breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice and the added touch of homemade smoothies and juices. My only complaint is that the breakfast was so nice, I would have liked more! An extra sausage would have been nice. We both asked for the special eggs which were impressive! Our visit completely exceeded our expectations and i will definitely be back. Personal service and a great price.
