It's a bikini bar - not a strip club or topless bar. Look outside of Ames for something like that. It's similar to a strip club only the girls keep the equivalent of a bikini on. There's also a 1 drink minimum. There's a pool table and a little game kiosk. The drinks are pretty cheap and definitely strong. A friend of mine got smashed from one Bud Light and one Long Island Iced Tea. There's an area to receive private dances for $20 a song but there's not a door, there's an archway so if you try any crazy or funny business everyone could easily run in and see or hear it. It didn't look like private dancing, more so like dry humping. I heard around town that the girls weren't much to look at and the ones on the Facebook page indeed are incredibly average. But I guess there's a new lineup as the night I went and brought my friends there were pretty high end girls performing pole acrobatics and well worth handing over your money to. Flat stomachs, pretty hair, pretty nails, cute faces, the whole thing. And those girls were working hard for that money. The more money you put down the faster and longer they shake it. You get a brief little lap dance for tipping whatever girl is currently on stage. Don't be cheap - tip $5 or more. You get to touch anything on top of clothes except the crotch. These are down home Midwestern girls so there weren't any with breast implants or scars. Again, go outside of Ames for anything that isn't homegrown and pure and clean. great place good drinks and very pretty girls. its not topless but the girls put a lot of effort into the stage and the private dances. it was a little quite the night I was in so I sat and talked to the girls they are very friendly and don't beg for money. I will definitely be back read more

This is my real customer experience: it is a decent strip club, though very small in size. I went there last night. Everything was cool till this one girl came up to me and said if i would wanna have a private dance. I said, why not . Later at the time of payment she was acting so rude. She tried to rip me off. I paid her $40 for 2 songs and $10 in one dollar bills, but she tried to tell me that it wasn't $40. She tried to conceal my $20bill and $5 between $1's and said i was not paying her enough. We had to count the money in front of her 5 times and make it clear to her that it was $40 + $10. She probably though i was drunk. I just saw 2 other guys going for a private dance, besides me. Barely anyone goes for private dance. Majority of girls have ugly faces. The bartender was good, other girls were good maybe, but the one who gave me a dance was pathetic. I think a good theme for this show is love who you are and show it off, even if you don't got it…read more This kind of illusionary confidence makes people feel better about themselves overall, and generally, those that "don't have it", actually have a better time. I think it's called Sircus cause it is a bit of a freak show, this show makes me think I could start a career in theater, just get some random people to dance around on stage, almost every act went from partially dressed, to less than partially dressed, and for one brief moment, we got to see some pasteys which only covered the nipples. Everything is kept real tame, they have whips and chains around the actors for part of the show, but it's really just for show, some minor pole dancing, I think there was only one actual kiss in the whole show when the rest were fake kisses. Some light touching over the clothes. Then Sissy, the leader/head drag queen, gave a lap dance to a partially willing participant who won the raffle for charity, I'm sure the tickets were meant as a joke, though they promised the winner of the raffle would not be too intense, but it was actually pretty intense. The whole show is done to prerecorded music, I had never heard some of the songs before so possibly sissy actually sang all the songs prerecorded, though the whole show seemed to be clear lip-sinking. Overall, the actors seemed to be victims of bad parenting, I saw them as lost souls, shaking everything they had for less than $100 each per show. Some suggestions, the men were thin but should start doing push-ups and sit-up's daily at a minimum, woman all needed to lose 10-20 lbs minimum, lose them love handles, I mean you're selling a show where they are half naked so give us something to see. Noone but sissy has a single spoken line in the whole show, I'd be interested in some of the stories of the people on stage, why they ended up with sissy, or what kind of stuff they are into. Have some of the actors have some talents, like the light show with the lite up balls and hoola hoop, those were nice. Possibly some actual live singing. Sissy sang (or lip-sang) a song about being a mother hen, and it's pretty clear this is true, but it also seems clear she's leading them down a path of destruction in lasciviousness, and I couldn't help but feel sad for them and wanting better things for them. In the end, I didn't really care for the show though some around me were loving it, finding it entertaining, but I found it hard to applause these cries for help and the loss of dignity, though I did my best to appear as though I was having a good time.

If you by chance get stole from here... by the models. and catch it because your not intoxicated enough. they will call the cops on you as soon as you leave the bar. SOOO watch your wallet here big time. OH and the bartender is incredibly rude. i went there because i was close friends with one of the models... whom let me know that the place was sketchy but can be fun... just do not go in there with money... and do not be friendly to the models you do not know. they will steal from you. other than that the drinks are overpowered for sure but its to support the you need to be intoxicated to become a better target deal.... for real i just would NOT go here. read more
