We stumbled upon Daniel for duets strength training. My friend and I are both postpartum mamas and were excited to work with someone who was located close to us. Unfortunately, he was not the best fit for us. We felt he was not able to properly assess our capabilities for working out. When we commented that some of the workouts were advanced for us, he ended up laughing us off. Our final session with him, I did a pull up exercise and ended up pulling a lat muscle. He did try to help stretch it out but there was no follow up the next day. If you're a postpartum mama looking for support, I suggest finding another fit. An absolutely fantastic trainer! Worked with him for ~9 months when I lived in SF, and he helped me to get into a great routine with muscle-building. Daniel is a fantastic trainer. He learns what you need, what you can do, and what your limits are. He pushes you when you need to be pushed, but never too far. Daniel has been our temporary trainer while our other trainer was on hiatus at Raise the Bar Fitness. My husband and I attend partner sessions. We can recommend Daniel 100%. He is very caring and a great communicator, but he defnitely pushes us. He is so positive and gives us a great variety of cardio, weight training and strengthening exercises. I started working with Daniel as I wanted a personal trainer to help me get back into exercise after having a baby. I was nervous about exercising at all post c-section as my core felt off and I felt really weak after a difficult pregnancy and postpartum period - not being able to exercise for over a year and a half. So I wanted to work with someone one on one who could gently guide me back to fitness.
