Instead, he immediately attempted to perform an endoscopy without my consent and billed me over $1,000 for it. This was entirely unnecessary for a routine sinus infection. They also invoiced for 45-minute visit when it literally took 5 minutes I left the appointment with no prescription, just a book recommendation on Amazon. When I later messaged the office about worsening symptoms (yellow/brown mucus), I was told I had to schedule another visit--less than a week after my first appointment. Only after I said I would have raised the issue with my insurance did Dr. Tandon call me later in the day, saying he could not prescribe an antibiotic without a CT scan but he would have done an exception For reference, I ultimately resolved my infection with a $6 antibiotic prescribed elsewhere.

I saw Dr Tandon yesterday with a flu at 102.2. My body had been in pain from head to toe and I was miserable. His nurse (Erica) was a sweetheart and was very hospitable as she told me twice "If you need anything, let me know" This is patient care! When Dr Tandon came in, he got right to business and asked me about my symptoms as well as discuss what I've been feeling lately. He makes eye contact and is very forward in his approach. This is a doctor who LISTENS and actually shows care. He's efficient and talks with you as he performs anything so nothng comes as a surprise. Book an appointment with him today. There's no wonder why he's at 5 stars. I've been prescibed tamiflu and am on my way to feeling better. Thanks Dr Tandon and staff.

I was on IV antibiotics Teflaro and and IM injections of Rocephin for bad bacteria infections with other doctors--nothing helped. But they refused to take my tonsils out--not a common practice for adults I was told. But if you are super sick and constantly have to be on antibiotics why wouldn't you? Dr Finley has been nothing short of amazing. A super smart, kind and caring ENT surgeon (looks like a young David Byrne from the Talking Heads). He removed my tonsils using the latest plasma technology. Post Op he said I had bad tonsillitis and it was a good thing we removed them. While I am one day into recovery the right side doesn't hurt at all. He said my left was far worse even though I thought my right was. Still painful but happy they are out. I highly recommend him and his staff and his personal assistant Julia who is so attentive and professional. Everyone at Northwell has been great and they are in a beautiful new downtown building at 7 7th Avenue. They won me over.

Being the person I am, I wanted to go to the absolutely best doctor there is. I did my research and found Dr. Kuhel, not only that, but, I consulted with a cousin of mine who is a professor of medicine at Emory University Medical School and asked him to do some research for me. He also said Dr. Kuhel came out as number one. I scheduled my appointment with him and am glad I did. He is a fairly quiet spoken gentleman, but knew from the very first visit and the symptoms, that I had Primary Hyperparathyroidism. He scheduled some tests and then shorty thereafter the surgery. Everything went as he said it would. He does not rush, he takes his time and does the job right. Other doctors and nurses in the hospital all said he is a meticulous surgeon, and they were right.
