Unfortunately, I have had to change Chiropractors as my regular one on the Northern Beaches has moved south of Sydney. I saw the positive reviews here and though I am not one to bother with writing reviews myself, am so incensed by the experience that I feel I must make mention of my shocking experience on this forum. The initial consultation consisted of Steve being actually present for 12 minutes spanning a 40 minute period as he darted out to treat two other patients he was treating concurrently. His assessment consisted of pressing a point causing some degree of discomfort, then prodding here and there, and then pressing supposedly the same way but which now miraculously generated no discomfort and pontificating on the subject of bio-mechanics and various skeletal interdependencies. Surprise, I know what a trigger point is and his smoke and mirrors routine left me totally insulted. But the best was yet to come. On standing up after his third 4 minute visit he joyfully said that I should go home and "have a hot shower and a cold beer". Right, so when filling out my medical form before the consultation I wrote thereon that I am currently taking antibiotics. So little regard has this so called medical professional that his advice is to go home and have a beer. That may work for you; it certainly does not for me. Of course, there is yet more. On walking through to reception, still flabbergasted by the sham consultation, I am asked for A$100 and when I would like to book another appointment. Yes, for the pleasure of this side-show masquerade I have to stump up A$100. Okay, so being the professional gentleman that I am, I put that down to school fees and comforted in the knowledge that I will never grace this pretender with my presence again. I share this with you as an honest account of what transpired this evening. You are an adult and capable of making up your own, informed opinion. Good luck and wishing you a pain free life. Every session I come out feeling more relaxed. His treatment goes beyond the body and affects the nervous system, helping me release tension from the stress of life. He's a pleasure to work with, his good humour, and warm personality makes returning every month a social event too! It's great catching up him. I had been suffering chronic shoulder and back pain for some years as well as fatigue which I'm sure went hand in hand with one another. Doctor after doctor, specialist after specialist, Chiropractors, Physiotherapist, Osteopathy, Acupuncturists, Naturopaths, the works! I'd almost but given up hope and cake to the conclusion that this is what my body will always be; in pain, tired and uncomfortable. I'd heard whispers of Dr Andrews Callister's accomplishments with other patients around the Northern Beaches area and thought "What the heck.. what's the price really on wellbeing"? Especially if he could potentially help" so I called and made an appointment - BEST DECISION I HAVE EVER MADE..! It wasn't long before Andrew had me on the path to recovery. Don't get me wrong, the first two weeks were tough, really tough; which Andrew told me would happen as my body Re-adjusted.. Within the following few weeks, I could see and feel a definite improvement.. Andrew explained every step of the way what he was going and why! This guy generally cared about me and wanted to fix me which was such a breath of fresh air from my past experiences. Some weeks later and I'm so happy to say that I have no more back or shoulder pain and my energy levels are through the roof. I basically crawled into Kim's practice in agony 2 years ago with multiple slipped discs in my lower-back. After ongoing treatment for 6-12 months the pain started to subside. I can't thank the team at Complete Health Chiropractic enough for all they have done for me. Before meeting Kim I tried everything not limited to acupuncture, massage, physio, osteo, neuro surgeon, etc. All I can say is happy spine = happy life. Stress is poison for the body.
