As for me, my hair was super dry and I needed a deep condition and a good wash. So I told her to add extra condition or whatever she can do to make it a bit more healthy looking. She charge me another 7 euros without telling me for using very little products. After she finished washing my hair and drying it, it still did not feel clean or looked clean. I ended up washing my own hair again when i got back to my place. We paid a total of 59 euros for both our hairs that we didnt like. The hair stylist seemed like she was rushing the entire time when there were no other customers around. The other workers were not friendly and kept staring us down. I don't know if it was from the language barrier or not having great hair skills but I wouldn't recommend this place.

I wasn't sure what to anticipate and as soon as I walked into the salon I was warmly welcomed and put at immediate ease with a inviting smile. Coming from California, at best I know some French words but Sarah speaks English well. Initially she spent time consulting with me and I shared photo of what I was looking for (I went from short length hair to a pixie cut). We comfortably discussed my needs and she was very attentive to understand and throughout checking along to ensure I was happy as we went along. My haircut was crafted expertly and extremely happy with the outcome. Sarah was so sweet, genuine and truly accommodating! Sarah brought me to the rear of the salon to the wash station room. She explained she wanted to create a relaxing and soothing experience while getting hair washed/conditioned. Dimmed lights with a visual slide show projection of tropical images to enhance the experience- totally cool. The shampoo wash and head massage was the best ever! Sarah expertly gave a lengthy head and neck massage and ended with a hot/warm head towel to further add to the experience. It was a real treat! The salon itself has a contemporary, a chic but yet warm design, immaculate. The atmosphere is inviting and friendly. I was brought a tray of bottled Vitell water/glass during my visit. Be prepared since they don't rush you out the door with a quick turnaround appointment. Its apparent service is important and taking care of you takes added time which was very evident to me. Salon is easy to find on a side street off the active (popular amongst tourists) Rue Saint Denis (2nd Ard) about a 15 min walk from the Louvre/Notre Dame. Nice area to explore and walk about. I left the Saravy Salon super pleased and must say it was one of the highlights of my trip to Paris! I've been coming to Paris for years and this was my first time getting a haircut. My trepidations were quickly vanished and now I have a darling, stylish new haircut! Plan to be back again in the fall and will certainly book another appointment with Sarah at Saravy Salon!!!

I'm rating this place not only on the fantastic hair cut that Louise gave my three year old son,…read morebut on the fantastic audio soundtrack we jammed out to during the cut. Louise was great from start to finish. Her swift, meticulous moves and gentle, patient attitude produced a stellar little boy cut for summer, equal parts cool and cool-looking--just the right rock edge without being ridiculous. At 25E, it was a bit pricier than at Bonton where we typically go but Louise's cut was much more complex and will last twice as long. But the real treat was the playlist in the background which featured hits from The Kills, The Organ, and a host of amazing indie rock groups. So, if you do go in for a cut, make sure to load up Shazaam so that you can identify all of the great tunes.
