Everything in the beginning was good and easy to purchase an auto policy. Months later to find out by my lein holder who was withdrawing extra out my account because somehow Messina left the lien holder off my policy for over six months and my lender had to purchase the insurance on the back which took out an extra $300 out of my account a month because Messina didn't put their name on my binder took me four months to get a response and I didn't get that until I threatened to contact the Maryland insurance administration and then they got nasty and smart about the situation. You should see my emails that I receive. Excuse me no emails text messages because they don't like to respond via the phone and they are right there. Purchase a new policy and you'll get quick response by phone afterwards good luck talking to a human. They want to respond in text messages and then when I said I'm gonna file a complaint with the Insurance administration and put a review on their website they came back stating don't do the threats that's not a threat. It's a freedom of speech and I don't think I'm the only one who may have had problems with them be careful and be aware and know that you won't have an opportunity to speak with anyone directly after you purchase a policy

Due to their incompetent and lack of listening and following instructions, I am being penalized an additional amount after paying my yearly renewal premium. Long story short, I was with Erie insurance and during my tenure I never had an issue. Ever since VW Brown took over Erie, the new folks have been nothing short of idiots. I have 3 homes, and multiple cars, all of which are screwed up on the policy with VW Brown. I explained multiple times of how my situation is with where each vehicle should be and how each property is classified and at no point was this corrected. Now, simply asking for insurance cards, leads to me being charged an additional $400 due to VW Brown, Eric Kane, and his associates incompetency. Truly, the mistake is by VW Brown and should be paid out of their own funds, yet they are going to make the innocent party pay. I work as a licensed realtor, and had referred my clients to VW Brown, which I will no longer do. I truly hope a better company comes in and removes there incompetent people...
