Came here to buy my mom A birthday gift so I looked around, asked questions but I ALSO let them know where I was at financially. Yes they were pretty informative but can fusing at the same time. Xavier and Elena were the ones who "helped" me. They made some things sound better than they made sense (in my opinion) I specifically told them that I did not want to pay 4K or more for a gift since my moms 60th is next year so I would much rather put money toward that. Next thing you know, my balance exceeded that SMH. Waited such a long time for who knows what, exactly. I have good credit, I have an account there so idk what the heck took so long. I came back another day to do a trade in since I had a ring that I really had no use for + no one to sell it to but that didn't even happen. Supposedly the value on it went up but when I did a lil research, that doesn't really happen or maybe I need to do further research ‍ Overall, I wasn't very happy with my experience here. I brought my watch in to have the battery replaced. I was met by Elena (manager) and Xavier (Sales -Not a jeweler. Learned this later). Xavier took the watch and stated he could not remove the backing. Said he would need to send the watch to the jeweler and it would take a week. A week later I returned for the watch and found damage to the backing and casing. None of this was mentioned by the store. I returned the watch and asked for the parts to be replaced, Candy (District manager said she'd replace all damaged parts. A month later I return for the watch and the casing is still scratched. Now Candy is stating she was never going to replace the casing. Claims I damaged it myself. You be the judge. Stay away from this store. read more

Five stars does not do this business justice!! I came in to get my father's ring size for me, and to clean an antique from my great grandmother. I was greeted warmly by Xavier, who helped me with the ring AND cleaned my antique sugar server with no charge for the cleaning. This store is the reason why I canceled my Daniel's account that I've had for years; and I've been to several stores up and down the coast (LA, OC ,SD, etc). This store has the absolute worst service of them all. I brought my favorite gold bracelet from Daniel's to this location to get fixed (every piece of jewelry I've bought from Daniel's I've purchased insurance for). With the insurance if they can't fix the bracelet they are to replace it with the same one if they have it in stock. After a couple weeks I called and they said my bracelet was ready to be picked up. I show up and guess what? The bracelet is still broken. I asked why they told me it was fixed and they said they made a mistake. So I drove all the way for nothing. Then Elena the manager tells me 'actually it can't be fixed by our repair guy so we will send it to corporate'. More weeks go by for them to tell me they couldn't fix it. They had the same one in the store so I asked them to replace it and they said we can't do that but you can trade it in for something else like a better purchase meaning they want me to spend more money. I didn't agree. So they forward me to Kandi (district manager) who tells me 'idk what you did but you broke it'. Hmm obviously girl that's why I have insurance lol so she's blaming me for breaking it & that's why they can't fix it. THEN she tells me, get this part 'the bracelet is just really cheap, not a good bracelet, you're better off purchasing a new one' LMAO. I couldn't believe she was telling me all this. So unprofessional, and you guys sold me the 'cheap' bracelet. It wasn't cheap when I gave you guys 1k for it though. So I just asked her to replace it with the same one cuz they had it in the store and she said no they can only do a store credit- basically just trying to get me to spend more money. I said F this and just left the bracelet at the store. I don't need their 'cheap' merchandise or disgusting service. If you decide to purchase from Daniel's avoid this location and don't even bother purchasing the good for nothing insurance. I canceled my account and never looked back. The manager is so rude.. so my fiancé and his mom went to get me an engagement ring they were told by one of the associates that they can get a free ring sizing because my fiancé told them my finger size was a size 9.5 and he kept telling him that the sizes only go up to size 7 they sold him a size 7 and when we went to go get it resize the manager tells us that she was there and the associate never promised a free resizing and kept telling him you're wrong, you're wrong... we never promised that.. So we decided to pay for it anyways I thought maybe it was just a mixup you know it could've been for something else the manager tells us it's gonna be $93 just to resize it. They told us what there going to to do and how the resizing works they said that there were going to polish it and make sure that you can't see we're they did the resizing. My fiancé goes to the car to go get his wallet and while he's going to the car she's telling me you should put insurance on it you know just in case down the line you want to lose weight. The insurance was supposed to be $40. They can resize it again. I tell them maybe and when my fiancé comes back she turns to him and she tells him that I want the insurance and I turn to him and shake my head no.. but then I think about it and I'm like yeah we should get it just in case.. you never know so she tells us it's going to be $150. We payed it with credit. They never called us to tell us it was ready we called them to ask about it. And they told us oh yea it's in already. My fiancé didn't notice the marks. I looked at and seen the middle where they said they I wasn't going to see the lines and today my fiancé went in to go pay the bill the manager tells that him that the grand total is $204. She tried to tell him it's for annual services and because of insurance on the ring he's already frustrated and he tells her then to take off the insurance and she tries to tell him if she does he has to pay more in annual service and then tells him because he used the credit he used there credit he has to $15 for the credit never going back to this place ever read more

Love getting people gifts from here. They have a large variety of watches here. I'm not really into the other jewelry. Watches are a decent price and if you see something a little out of your budget you can always apply for credit and make small monthly payments. The staff is friendly and makes you feel welcomed. The last few times I been in Alma has been helping me she is great and knows what's on sale and is great with showing me things in my price range. She makes the experience enjoyable, also you can always come back to get your gifts fitted. read more

She is kind and hilarious to talk to, and will go out of her way to make sure her customer is satisfied. Gabby & Janet are so funny!! they make going to Daniel's so fun.
