My daughter is a senior, Class of 2020. Being an only child and excelling not only in academics…read morebut in the community, we felt she deserved an exquisite touch for her senior pictures. So our searched commenced nationwide, for the best photographer. We found her... Katherine Marie Photography. We (husband and daughter) were instantly captivated by the natural but highly artistic flow of fabrics in Ms. Katherine's photos. I had not seen anything like it. Therefore, our communication began after I sent her an email. Right away, the open lines of communication was fantastic. Per Ms. Katherine's request, my daughter sent inspiration pictures. It was during the summer and my daughter wanted a road trip so we began our nearly 23 hour drive from the Gulf Coast of Mississippi to Colorado Springs, CO. Ms. Katherine arranged a schedule that catered to our needs for the session. When I tell you Katherine Marie Photography went over and beyond... WOW! Upon arrival as we walked up to the studio there was a neatly decorated sign with my daughter's name displayed welcoming her for the Senior Portraits. Right away, it set the mood... serene but excitement. When the door opened we were all greeted with warm embraces and the offering of snacks and water. The hospitality was out of this world. The make-up used was of the best quality, high end products. Most importantly, my daughter's face was beautiful with a natural but polished look. She resembled an Angel. I cannot remember the name of Ms. Katherine's assistant but she teaches ballet/dance and was the added spice to the photo shoot. She was wonderful to work with as well. The studio also had a wardrobe of gowns, fabrics and accessories that were available for use. Ms. Katherine exceeded each inspiration picture idea. She captured each moment with grace and care, paying attention to the fine details. Beautiful poses such as playing the piano with a delicate sway of the garments to back hand springs in the studio or out in the White Rock with cheetah print and fine gowns... Just breathtakingly gorgeous! Every moment spent, was worth it! Ms. Katherine will apply your ideas with a special touch. You will not be disappointed. I only wished we lived closer. The hard part was trying to decide between which beautiful image to purchase because they were all flawless! There are not enough stars to rate Katherine Marie Photography. She is absolutely excellent with an artistic ability out of this world. If you want fine, quality and detailed portraits with everlasting precious memories... this is the place to go!
