Only had a pickup experience. The 18" pizza is a good size for 4 people. It's hard to say the pizza has individually remarkable ingredients but I would say it all comes together well. Danny's is legendary for Chicago style pizza, but their wings are the bomb. Tried the kids mozzerella sticks, and they were crunchy adn filled with cheese, did taste liek previosuly frozen sticks they must make them fresh. HIGHLY reccomend. read more

I have ordered from Danny's couple of times now and here is what I like: 1) The food is consistently good. 2) Large portions 3) not very expensive 4) quick delivery. So when it's Friday night (or any day really) and you are just too tired and hungry to make dinner, you can order from them and you will have a decent dinner in about 30 minutes or so which is great ! Now here is what I don't like: some of the items they have on the menu just lacks flavor. For example the wings were so bland I ate only one. The homemade chips had zero salt on them. So when it is a burger place that can't make a decent side of wings and chips I'm very disappointed. Which means I'm still on the hunt for the perfect burger with fries in the Garfield Ridge/ clearing area. read more

Have been enjoying my experiences here. I came in tonight and didn't realize they had happy hour. Great deals. Sat at the bar and the service was ok. My meal arrived 15 minutes before my husbands. Jasmine was attentive at first then somehow fell off. No apologies for our food being served separately. Not Jasmines fault. Saturday's with Dana are much b Sorry to have to post another poor review, this has to do with service again. Met a few girls during happy hour and I arrived earlier than my group. The server must be new. She didn't know vodka they had and brought my messy Bloody Mary without a napkin or coaster. She had to go get some. Came by every 2 minutes asking me if everything was ok-odd. She did not know what the cocktail specialty drink was either, she kept referring us to the beer list. She messed up the way we wanted our bill split up and our to go order. She promised the Mac and Cheese would be 2 minutes. Almost 10 minutes later, with our other food now cold, I went myself to the kitchen window where she was chit chatting. I also told her I was surprised she charged us the $6 especially after the mix up, she knew how mad I was and just stared at me. She definitely does know what it takes to please a customer so they return again. She pissed off a previously happy regular over $6. read more

Follow up: Second visit and the place was packed on a Sat at 6! Better than before - two apps, two burgers and a medium pizza for three of us. Everything was off the hook - even the fries were perfectly crisp, delicious juicy burgers, pizza insanely tasty with fresh ingredients. We left beyond satisfied. Really great pizza... buttttt the burgers are awesome too. I think the menu highlight is the Mac and cheese, and it's pretty great. Great place to catch a Sox game whether you're inside at the bar or outside on the patio. It's a great south side vibe with lots of neighborhood regulars. First thing these new owners of Danny's and there staff still making the same errors and we been eating this pizza for 30 years. We stopped because asking these new owners for stuff we paid for on our pizza still gets made wrong. My wife wanted to try them after we had the pizza wars at Garfield ridge farmers market. I told her that these new owners don't care and here we go again. She ordered 18 inch extra thin half sausage half Canadian bacon. And extra cheese on the entire pizza. The Canadian was more then paper thin. And we didn't get extra cheese but we paid for it. The old owners Steph would never lets this happen. I gave these guys many of chances to fix these issues and again and again it's very disappointing and you never get what your paying for. Buyer beware because this pizza used to be great and sadly they're managers and staff can't get this right. We will not ever eat the product and we will be letting commerce people know how badly your over priced product that is never right when we open up the box. Owners we know you don't care because after giving you an opportunity to be good we find out last night September 1st 2023 your still making the same mistakes. What is the purpose of placing an order online for a designated pickup up time? Exactly! To have the order ready when you arrive!!! Not to arrive and be told it will take 25 mins for your order to be ready. Ths is particularly troubling when you have guests waiting at your home. read more

If your looking for a good spot to eat lunch/dinner at Danny's is the place! I stopped here after a flight from Texas after seeing a couple pictures online. Inside was very clean, organized and Service was great our waitress was very attentive and friendly :)) As for the food it was supper yummy! Got the mac and cheese bites were a little cold in the middle but really didn't mind. This place also had the best sweet potato fries i've ever had and i've eaten ALOT of sweet potato fries. For the main dish we ordered the deep dish pizza and it was very good had perfect cheese to sauce ratio and the crust was unique kinda like a pie crust very good! Wow! Found this gem as we were on our way dropping friends off at Midway airport and so glad we did! It was pretty busy, so we had to wait 30 min for a table. It has a neighborhood sports bar ambiance. We shared a pizza, mushroom boom burger, and chicken wings. The wings were great! My favorite were the mango habanero. The pizza and burger were also solid. I got a mojito, which was my only mistake. It didn't have much basil or mojito flavor and reminded me of a drink I would've had in an undergrad bar. Next time, will stick to beer. Would def recommend stopping by before a flight if you have time to kill and want to avoid airport food! read more

We came in here on 12/03/18 for a glass of wine and a pizza to go. This is just a really good place. The staff is friendly, the prices are really good and the food is great. We through a curve ball to our usual order and got the Canadian bacon pizza. REALY food. The Canadian bacon is diced up, which adds a really good consistency to each bite. We don't live as close to Danny was we used to, but will keep coming here when we get the chance. read more
