I come here probably every other week or whenever my hubby and i start craving their yummy curry :) #33 is my go to thanks to one of my idols (Amanda Bailey). She'd talk about this place ALL the time after the gym! it's crazy. I finally gave it a chance and FELL IN LOVE! #33 is Chicken Katsu with mixed veggies, rice and whatever sauce you chose. The Thai Curry sauce is MY FAVORITE!! I always order extra for my rice and chicken because the plate is impossible to finish! I also enjoy their fried rice with chicken. I swear, the chicken itself must be broiled because it tasted amazing!!! The fried rice is also sooo tasty. You can add your favorite sauce too. Of course I ask for the Thai Curry sauce hehehe. TIP: the first time you go, they give you a small serving... when they see you coming back for more, they start hooking it up! It's amazing. Also, bring €EURO! Cash only. Recommend dine in or togo. I always get togo and it's still great when I get home!!! Also, it's priced fairly cheap for the amount and quality in my opinion (:

Food aside, this place has probably one of the better indoor kid areas for a restaurant. A place for kids to play regardless of the weather, and one of the walls is completely glass - so you can see through it. Chuck E Cheese isn't a thing here in Germany, so we have to resort to whatever we can get over here.

The restaurant is clean and comfortable, with elaborate Asian-inspired décor, statues, gold accents, and plenty of LED lighting. It looks nice, although the style is familiar from large Asian buffets everywhere. It feels like there's one giant warehouse supplying them all with dragons, artificial plants, and decorative gold trim. Service is very low-key. We were shown to our booth and then left to navigate the buffet. A card explains the prices and rules, and clothespins are provided for the Mongolian grill: clip one to your plate before handing it over. It's unusual but simple. We never had a traditional waiter, though dirty plates disappeared regularly, so the tables stayed clear. The food was the main issue. There were four of us, and our consensus was: It wasn't bad. It wasn't good. It was... food. At €31 per person, I expected more. Nothing was terrible, but very little made us want seconds. The sushi wasn't exactly fresh, though it wasn't stale either. It occupied that culinary middle ground of "technically, this appears to qualify as sushi." The fried food was definitely fried, but most of it seemed to have missed the seasoning stage. The traditional dishes were edible but forgettable. The Mongolian grill was especially disappointing. The concept is good, but the ingredients--particularly the meats--didn't look fresh or appealing, which was concerning given how early we arrived. Only one person tried it. His official review was simply: "Meh." Desserts were mixed. There was a decent variety, but careful selection is recommended. Some were good; others made us question whether the calories were worth the paperwork. The soft-serve ice cream and pudding were surprisingly tasty. Drinks are included, which is a genuine plus. You choose them yourself from refrigerated cases, with a good selection and no waiting for refills or surprise charges. The biggest problem is the price. Dinner is currently about €31 per person, and I don't think the quality or selection justifies it. At around €20, this would be a very different review. Lunch is cheaper and may be the better option. There are several similar restaurants nearby. Are they better? Maybe. Worse? Also possible. That's the excitement of Asian buffet roulette. The restaurant has potential, especially with the Mongolian grill. I'd simplify it by focusing on fresh steak, chicken, shrimp, vegetables, and better sauces instead of offering seafood that doesn't appear particularly fresh. Improve the freshness and seasoning overall, and €31 would make more sense. Overall: 3 stars. The restaurant is clean, the drinks are handled well, service keeps the tables clear, and there's plenty of choice. Nothing was outright terrible. Unfortunately, nothing was particularly memorable either. Not bad. Not good. Just aggressively average--with premium pricing.

On the way home from a weekend with my parents we stopped here again. Again it was a fabulous experience. This restaurant is huge with high ceilings. It has a main room with the buffet in many tables as well as a smoker room, a children's playroom, and a close off room for private parties. The main attraction is a huge buffet which features not only typical Chinese dishes including hot and sour soup but also a small selection of sushi. The highlights, in my opinion, is the Mongolian barbecue section. For those not familiar, this is a buffet with raw ingredients including meats (chicken, beef, pork, lamb), seafood (diverse fish, shrimp, etc.), multiple raw vegetable items, and a multitude of sauces and condiments. You put together whatever you want, clip a clothespin with the table number on the side of the plate, and place it on the counter by the huge grill. Everything gets freshly cooked and then brought to the table. The food quality ranges from very good to excellent and the diversity of food is phenomenal. Was also impressed me was a waitress (not ours) who came to my table and marked at this time I had come alone. (She meant not with a group). I was surprised that she remembered me after one visit several months ago with so many customers. So if you want to get a good variety of Asian cuisine with a Chinese emphasis, this is the place to visit.
