I met with Daphne while in the Boulder area for a job interview as I knew if I landed the job (which I did) I would want to move quickly to purchase a home in the very competitive Boulder area and she had such great reviews on here I thought she would be a great place to start. It seemed as though she completely wrote me off after that meeting. I'm not sure if it was because I was younger and she did not think I was going to actually move forward with an purchase where most of the single-family homes are priced over $450k or if she was simply too busy to take the time to follow up with a person who was not yet in the area but I was underwhelmed with the follow up. All I received from her after that initial e-mail was her company form e-mail letters on their market analysis. Not to say that those weren't interesting to read but I cannot say I would trust a real estate transaction in her hands. Maybe if I were looking at some of the higher priced homes ($1 million and up) she would have had more time. Generally, she was pleasant enough and seemed reasonably knowledgeable about the market trends. Just not impressed with her customer service or responsiveness. I did find another realtor who was amazing and somehow managed to get me into a home even though our offer was $20k under the highest bid. read more

We had SUCH an amazing experience working with Daphne. First of all, she was super flexible with my craziness (we didn't decide to meet with a realtor until the night before we flew into Colorado and we got engaged the morning of our appointment so I was admittedly mia when she tried to reach me to finalize the appointment.) My fiance was transferring from SF to Boulder, and we were totally unfamiliar with the area. Daphne met us for coffee, listened to what we were looking for and gave us an honest take on the Boulder area and housing market. Then, she took us on a tour of Boulder to show us what was available in our budget in different parts of the city. We quickly learned that Gunbarrel would fit our budget, lifestyle (triathlete and cyclist) and that we could get infinitely more bang for our buck than in central Boulder. We also realized that unless we were willing to fly out at the drop of a hat, we'd likely have to make an offer on a house sight unseen. As scary as that was, Daphne assured us that she could do walk-throughs and get questions answered on any house we saw. Boy did she deliver! Daphne introduced us to mortgage brokers and helped us get pre-approved to speed up the offer process. We watched for houses we liked online and found one we loved the day before Thanksgiving. We were in Mexico, and didn't have phone access, but Daphne worked around it. She kept in contact via email and imessage answering all of our questions, assuring us this was a fantastic house, and explaining the layout. On Thanksgiving day, she helped us draft an offer and cover letter, and our offer was accepted! Throughout the time we were under contract, Daphne went above and beyond what she needed to do to help us. Since we were still in San Francisco, she did all of the face time with inspectors, contractors and the sellers. She handled closing for us, made sure all of the furniture we purchased was there, set up radon mitigation, took in furniture deliveries, set up utilities and a million other little things that we couldn't handle from afar. I can't stress enough how happy we were with Daphne. She helped us buy a beautiful home and walked us through every step of the process. She's knowledgeable about the neighborhoods and has amazing ideas on updating houses. Most importantly, she had our best interests at heart. I have so many great things to say about Daphne! I am a first time home-buyer who just moved from Austin, TX and she helped SO much . She answered all my questions (which there were a million) and did not get annoyed, and assisted me in getting a house that had 8 offers on it. I was interested in a house I saw on Zillow, so I contacted her and she did some recon and found out that there were already quite a few offers on the house, so I needed to get a mortgage pre-approval letter as well as include a personal letter with our offer so that we could hopefully get the house. She connected me with a local mortgage company that turned around a mortgage pre-approval in less than 2 hours on a Friday afternoon (which is a miracle in and of itself) and got the offer in on time. Long story short we got the house and when we closed she brought over wine and a lovely houseplant, and was super sweet. She knows the area really well and will tell you like it is, which is great. She also knows a lot about the area that we were moving into and informed us about the good grocery stores and local events. Such a kind person, great Realtor. Daphne is FANTASTIC and we definitely recommend working with her. We relocated with an infant and dog from California to Boulder and really needed someone who was going to be an advocate for us and help us through first time home buying.
