The person told me that the Dr. wouldn't do it because I'm not currently in an acute state. I told her that just because it's not hurting, doesn't mean it doesn't need to be done, and that it effect my sexual health. She then recommended I go somewhere else. I'm shocked that even though the Dr is taking new clients, the appointment setter argued that I should go elsewhere. So if you are reading this review, you should simply call somewhere. This place doesn't seem interested women's health.

If you want to go in for well women visits and not be abandoned by a nurse on an exam table in a front-opening gown for 30 minutes while you wait for the doctor to come in, then she most definitely is your lady. As far as I can tell, it's only a receptionist and Dr McCarthy in the office. The last two times, I had the first appt of the day, so the receptionist wasn't there. Dr McCarthy checked me in, then took me immediately back (didn't even have a chance to sit in the waiting room). She does your blood pressure, weight, etc, has a chat with you in her office, then takes you to the exam room to change, comes right back in, completes the exam, and then you meet her back in her office for final discussions. She is kind, and listens if you have concerns, and makes the whole experience quite enjoyable. I almost wish I had to go more than once a year! A lot of doctors only call you with the results if something is wrong or abnormal, but Dr McCarthy lets you know either way as soon as your results come back (usually within 2-3 days). I am so pleased to have found this office and highly recommend it!

The way Partners works when you are pregnant is that you see a different doctor every time you go in so that when you deliver, you are familiar with most of the doctors and the doctor on call will deliver you. I dealt with many nurses and techs and everyone was fabulous. I didn't have a "normal" pregnancy. At 16 weeks, I had an issue that landed me in the hospital. Dr. Minton was on call that day and he really eased my concerns and talked me through how to get past my issue. At 29 weeks, I went into pre-term labor. Dr. Brown was on call that day and she admitted me to the hospital. She was extremely caring to my situation and was explanatory about how the process would go. Dr. Jaeger ended up delivering my baby. He was excellent. He was able to lighten my mood by joking with me and he made some very important decisions that gave my little preemie the best outcome possible. I will be loyal to this practice for life after the care I was given throughout my pregnancy. If you are looking for an OB Gyn in Tampa, please consider partners.

She was my dr when I was pregnant with my now 14 yo daughter. She's an AMAZING doctor! She truly cares about her patients and their health. She's honest and to the point. Some folks may think that's abrasive but I love her for that. She's not going to be one that beats around the bush. The office is clean and staff is super friendly. In fact when I asked for lab work she stated they don't take any if you're 32 years old and your cycle is on time. Regardless of the other symptoms I was complaining of - horrible cramps, spotting for days, intense bloating and all of these being changes that were new to me. She ACTUALLY suggested that I might have an STD lol which was absurd after explaining I have been with only my husband for X amount of time - she tested me anyways and I did not. With absolutely no grounds for testing me for this or even suggesting I might have them based on my symptoms. Martina Reiss provided unnecessary stress and projected her own personal opinion at my 39 week appointment by calling me selfish for not wanting to induce my baby. After multiple rounds of testing and asking for clarity on the reasoning for the induction, she could not give me a straight forward answer. I worked tirelessly with this office to undergo 2 rounds of ultrasound and NST testing to make sure that what I was doing was the best for my baby and myself. Yet I felt like a number at the end of the day rather than given the care and empathy my baby and I deserved. I am happy to report that I was able to deliver a beautiful baby girl with no issues whatsoever but because of my interaction with Dr. Reiss, it has made consider if I even want to pursue having children in the future. If I do have the courage to do so, I will not be going through Women's Care.
