Its northern point links to the City Centre Trail to City Centre Park on Mexico Road. At the southern point at Willott Road it links to Country Creek Trail to Covenant Park. An eastern spur connects to Alan Oscar Park. A baseball diamond, basketball court, two tennis courts, and football/soccer field cover sports interests in Spencer Creek Park. Two picnic pavilions and a large playground, which includes musical elements, will appeal to families. Restrooms available.

The dog park portion, however, is hit or miss if it's open or closed, which is frustrating, especially if you don't live close by and have to drive all the way over just to see the sign that says closed. When we first got here, we noticed the park is in a pretty secluded area, and not many people were around unless they were going to the library that is connected to the parking lot. There are so many different parts of this park, including "The Awakening" sculpture, an amphitheater, a walking trail with a waterfront, and a Veterans memorial. The park was very clean, and we loved everything we experienced. The sculpture was so cool and is basically a steel man broken up into different separated body parts, who looks like he is trying to free himself from the ground. It's unbelievable how big this is in person, and we loved it. The Veterans Memorial was gorgeous and included significant quotes, a fountain, and American flags with every branch of the military included. The waterfront and trails were gorgeous, and we saw many HUGE ducks, cardinals, and wildlife. We loved the isolated walking trail because it had such beautiful views. Homes are being built around there, too, and the water would be such a gorgeous view to have every day from a home window. We weren't able to go to the amphitheater because they were getting ready for a summer night free concert event, but when we left, many people were gathering to go to the event. You can bring your own beer as long as it's in a can, so that's awesome and unlike many other public areas! Overall, if I lived in St. Louis, I could see myself regularly coming to this park and the surrounding area often. It's definitely a tranquil place where you can be one with nature and enjoy the views and entertainment.

This is a tiny spot: McAuley Playground is Hansen Park and Hansen Park is McAuley Playground. It's so small you might miss it, so look for the Mercy Kids medical center on Mid Rivers Mall Drive. There's also a concession stand to purchase food at as well, there's a sign that states no outside coolers but it doesn't say anything about outside food, however I did see families without side food and I have to admit that I also brought in a few snacks.

There are also wheelchair accessible machines. Rubber ground covers provide extra safety. Nob Hill also has one of the few bocce ball courts in the county. A 1/10th mile paved path circles the park restrooms and covered picnic table. The park no longer has its swimming pool, which was removed during construction.

Concessions stands--seldom open--and restrooms are available. O'Fallon's community recreation complex, the Renaud Center, is nearby-- separated from the soccer fields by a couple of par 3 golf courses. Renaud has its own Yelp! page. The Renaud Center is an excellent facility for swimming, basketball, volleyball, fitness, indoor cycling, and community activities. It's open to non-residents as well as residents.
