The dining area is the nicest I've seen in a pub. The wall length seating, paintings and accessories give it a modern beach styling. I also love places where you can squeeze your BBQ or tomato sauce into a little cup just for you. I'm not one for sharing! The pub was dead though. My partner and I were the only ones eating at 1:30pm on a Saturday which I don't think is late and lunch didn't close until 2:30pm. On the plus side we got our meals 10 minutes tops after ordering.

One of my favourite items on the menu is the veggie burger with hand cut chips. This is the best…read moreveggie burger I have ever tasted, packed full of vegetables and not just a veggie patty. The chips are equally amazing, hand cut potatoes from Dorrigo, a local town. In fact all ingredients are sourced locally. Most things on the menu are delicious and change seasonally. Coffee is good here. The cafe has indoor and outdoor seating and is kid friendly. Positioned near the river there's nice views and with plenty of sidewalk space the venue is quite a hub for locals to meet and hang out. They have regular music nights throughout the year. Service is pretty good but can be inconsistent. 5 Church Street is one of my regular places and I would highly recommend it.
