The staff wet the drift track down and we got sideways around the whole track!! We played some Laser tag and went on their new ride the Gyroscope...was so dizzy when I got off!!! Then we raced the Slot Cars and rode the Bucking Bull. The kids played in the playground and jumped on the jumping castle, and also played Laser Tag and drove the slot cars with us. There was so much more to do there like Dodgem Cars, Mini Golf, Bowling, Sumo Wrestling and heaps more but we just ran out of time. We will definitely be going back again but will allow more time to do a bit of everything. You need at least 2 and a half hours to 3 hours if you want to try everything!! This place was fun for adults and the kids. I recommend this for anyone who is looking for a way to entertain the kids or have some fun with friends.

I recall going to 'lock ins' there when I was all of about thirteen. The idea was you'd pay a small fee, and you'd be locked in there with unlimited games for a few hours until the early morning. For a geeky boy, this was pretty much heaven. So I hadn't been in there for a few years, but I recently took my young cousins in there to kill some time while shopping was being done by people who like that sort of stuff. It really hasn't changed that much over the years. We all had a good time, although it was kinda expensive. If you've got time to kill when you're at Knox, there are worse places to go.

Play-centre would've been a much better description. Adults will learn little from the exhibits. For example, the dinosaur exhibition skips over the origin, geological periods, evolution or demise of these animals. They are not arranged in any chronological order, and not even to scale. For example, the T-rex is roughly half size. And nothing from the Triassic period. Again I have to remind myself it's for KIDS ONLY. The cafe is disappointing, offering mostly pies, sandwiches, chips but no healthy cooked food. At least there is real coffee. In summary, adults with no kids should stay away. But I'll probably bring my kids back here for more.

I've also come here to watch the occasional game of football (though they generally only have one game on at a time). The also make a decent cup of coffee (as well as a nice pot of tea). A great hang out spot where there is a Melbourne Festival lounge available for when this event is on, and of course this establishment is also home to the Sidney Myer Music Bowl for concerts and christmas carol events in the Domain area. The main entrance is situated on St Kilda Road, just opposite the NGV International, and it is divine with quality theatre and classical events. It was interesting taking the tour of the facility, which goes for about an hour off hand. I think off hand the earliest time is 11am, and for $15 a pop; not the best value for money in town; however it was time fairly well spent, plus your given a glass of bubbly all inclusive. A great day design plan would be to enjoy this tour, and then head further down St Kilda Road till you get to the domain and the botanical gardens to finish it off with some high quality nature. Overall, I think this establishment will be more inviting and spectacular once the renovation works are complete. We will have to wait until 2012 and see.

This venue is also home to ballet performances, stage productions, city tours, and workshops for people of all ages. It's definitely worth checking out their schedule of events. It's a very easy walk from Flinders St Station.
