His approach was spectacular--first he listened, then he explained. I do not have Lupus. To be sure, sure, sure, he ordered three more blood tests, and they confirmed no Lupus. I am grateful for his holistic approach to me as a person, and to my condition and symptoms. I was also impressed with his office medical assistant, Tina, who was kind, professional and attentive, on a busy day. You will be in good hands with this rheumatologist, who looks at the big picture, but keeps the patient's own feelings and intuitions as an important component of his diagnosis.

No one answers the phone, because all calls are routed to a central switchboard so they save money. Its B.S. they care about their bottom line, screw the patients. I tried calling to see what time my appointment was. After about an HOUR on the phone waiting for someone to answer, I drove to the office to find out my appointment time. Dr. Madoodi seems to have settled in there and she has a terrible bedside manner. I had my annual physical recently and, despite filling out their paperwork stating that I wanted only what was covered by my insurance coverage, I received a rather large lab bill for blood work not covered. The doctor does not discuss what tests are being performed by the lab until after your appointment. I called the doctors office after talking with the insurance company and the lab and she was supposed to follow up with them a month ago and today I got a reminder from the lab that I owe still owe the lab the same amount of money. Mostly I'm disappointed with the way the doctor treats you when you are in the office. She only cares about her agenda and does not try to understand her patients. I'll be looking for a new provider.

He was dismissive, aloof and over the top patronizing. I'm no expert in this field but, I'm having a difficult time believing that after getting my upper arm sliced open on both sides has led me to have carpal tunnel syndrome. He is convinced that my nerve pain, which only started after being brutally injured and spending two weeks in the ICU has nothing to do with the nerve pain I'm experiencing. Dr. Shah was snarky and beyond rude. He literally gave me a pat on the back which felt like an adult patting a child on the head. What an awful experience. If you are someone that enjoys being belittled and probably misdiagnosed, then I highly recommend Dr. Shah!
