We had a decent wedding budget that got a little bit crunched, so we ended up getting a friend-of-a-friend who is a professional photographer, to shoot our wedding. She did it on the cheap, and the pictures were OK, and she kept fiddling with her flash and complaining about her batteries. It seems to me like a lot of her images were crooked or blurry or dark. The images were average, but not even close to what Moments did for my "sis". I think the guy's name is Scott. We really really regret not hiring this guy now, because Carlie recommended him. I am making sure I spread the word to other brides who might make the same mistake. I guess they use a special kind of camera equipment that makes these incredible pictures. They are super clear and colorful. He was really cool at the wedding, and we hardly even noticed him most of the time. His assistant (girlfriend maybe?) was really nice and sweet too, and she also shot pictures from other angles. It was her album that just floored me when I saw it. I am hoping I can get him to make an album out of my pictures, but I am not sure the images that will do it justice. He said he can see what he can do for us, so my fingers are crossed. But if you are thinking of trying to cut corners on the photography, trust me you will be sorry. I have to say I really didnt even know that wedding pics could be like this. Even though I thought he was out of our budget, he was not expensive compared to all the other photographers we looked at. We spend too much on other things first. Put your pictures on the top part of your list. I learned my lesson the hard way. Hopefully they can help me salvage what I have. I know Carlie booked him over a year ahead of time too, so if you are planning your wedding now, you definately want to take a look at him. If your budget is tight, I think his assistant shoots weddings on her own too for a bit less.

Jessie Ann met us at Leu Gardens and did a phenomenal job making us feel comfortable and being extremely knowledgeable of priceless shots to take (since I have one pose I always give the camera). Additionally, she works with top notch equipment. For the session, we never felt rushed and Jessie went around all over the grounds (which is extremely large!) so we could get every shot possible. Immediately after the session, I got a few sneak peak unedited shots emailed to me which was such a treat and something photographers never do! The quality of photos is impeccable and you can tell this photographer has a gift behind the lens. Working with her was an absolute pleasure, so much so that I had to have her at my wedding, where she went above and beyond the call of duty. 100% Professionalism 100% Quality! On a limited budget? This photographer is the right choice for you! Those with no budget? You will not believe how ridiculously affordable this company's services are with the high quality results you get, but take it from me, you will regret paying so much more with another photographer and getting so much less! My son iis not the most cooperative in taking pictures and as a matter of fact we had had his pictures done elsewhere first. they were very disappointing, so we contacted Chris. What a difference. He took the time to work with my son and capture my son and who he is beautifully. He even got him to smile naturally. Which is not easy. My son enjoyed working with him and loved all his ideas. They truly were like family for us, Miranda even took the extra few moments to help bustle my dress. Things like that speak volumes, not only did it let me know she was catching every detail... But she also had my best interest at heart. Our videos are amazing, absolutely beautiful! However their willingness to assist with our special request is what really leaves a lasting impression with us. My husband deployed one month after the wedding. So I requested that they hold the film, since I wanted to see it with him. Rather than just let it sit on a back burner, they were able to provide us with a rough copy that we could see together. She was so sweet and very professional and the pictures were so beautiful! The lighting at my venue was very challenging and I was worried the pictures might not be that good but Liz did such an amazing job and every picture was perfect! I will definitely be using her again for family portraits and graduation pictures for our children and I will recommend her to my friends and family. I cannot begin to tell you how incredible Landon and Stephanie are. They make photoshoots feel fun and effortless, and they treat you like family. They both have these amazing, outgoing personalities that can get even the most shy people (like myself) to open up and feel comfortable on camera. It all started with booking them for our engagement shoot and wedding before we even had a venue. They were the only vendor I was instantly sold on. Our engagement shoot at Lake Louisa State Park was amazing. They came prepared. It was raining in the beginning of our shoot (goodbye, professionally curled hair) and they had a clear umbrella so we could still get some photos in while the weather cleared. They were down for our smoke bomb ideas for our images and executed those flawlessly. Stephanie went full on coordinator with our wedding and was in my opinion more prepared than my planner. They have literally the highest level of customer service I have ever seen. How about at my wedding before we walk in to the reception, no one can figure out how to bustle my gown. My wedding planner is nowhere to be found, and Stephanie takes it upon herself to handle it and right on time! Landon even was able to walk my mom and bridesmaid through lacing up my dress. They're not just photographers. They are overall wedding experts. I sincerely mean it when I say these two are some of the sweetest, most genuine people I've ever met. I've told them more than once that they are our photographers for life. You can NOT go wrong with hiring Landon and Stephanie for your photography needs.
