Well, my wife and I went here for a meal to try it out, as we had relatives coming down from Scotland for their summer holiday. To be fair, the meal was excellent, and we left, happy to have found a worthwhile pub to take them to.
When we had our relations down, we were shown to the family room as her Daughter had my wife's two grandchildren with her. So there were seven of us including My Daughter. we ordered.................and then we waited, and we waited.......and we waited.....and we waited. Eventually, the meal arrived. Lukewarm, not very appealing, and it was pretty obvious to us that the people in the children's room were just a bit of a nuisance really, and that the main trade was being done in the pub itself.
