***PLEASE READ***We have been with Jolma Insurance for about 2 years now and up until recently I never looked at our arraignment more than just a business transaction. Insurance for cash, that simple. But a few weeks ago my wife and I purchased another used car and needed insurance for it and called Jolma and spoke to Terri to ask what it would cost to add the new car. I explained to Terri that we were looking for the best price we could get because we have recently fallen on hard times and were a little short on money. She gave us a quote and because it was easy I told her to go ahead and add the new policy to our bill. A few days later I had received another quote from a competitor and called and told Terri about it to see if they could match the other quote. Terri looked at our policy and very politely said they could not. She asked how my family was doing and I told her, then I said it was nothing personal, but we may have to go with the other company, its just that things were real tough financially right now, that we were even considering shutting our water off cause we cant afford our most recent utility bill. Terri said she was very sorry and if their was anything they could do she would and that if we did go with the other insurance company they would understand, we we're just doing what is best for us. I got off the phone and spoke to my wife about my and Terri's conversation and how sincere and polite Terri was. Nowadays its very hard for people to surprise me in a positive way but Terri had done it, because of her genuine kindness my wife and I decided to stay with Jolma even though the policy was gonna be higher than a competitor. So, I called back and Jennie answered since Terri was with another customer and I left a message to let her know we decided to stay with them. The next morning Terri called me at home to thank me for deciding to stay with them and said that they had double checked our policy and found they had missed a discount they could give us and have now applied to policy which lowered it below the competitors quote. You see....we had already decided to stay with Jolma and left a message of our decision, they didnt have to relook, rework, or just plan help us out, but they did. Terri and the other Jolma Insurance crew then even took their act of kindness further....a few days later, my family and I received a Hallmark card in the mail from them, thanking us for staying with them, and inside that card was a gift card to a local store to help us out in our time of need. Can you believe it, a card to thank us, even though I know THEY went beyond and we possibly cost them money in lowering their price for us, then to go out and get us a gift card!!!!! My family and I spent that gift card just as fast as we received it.....it helped, in these times every little bit helps. I want you to know Terri, Thank you so much for what you did, and Im gonna keep that gift card, as a reminder of your and the others at Jolmas unexpected and sincere kindness. My family and Jolma Insurance no longer have a business transaction together, we now have a relationship and I truly have a friend.....who just so happens to sell insurance.
