Service is friendly and laid back, which is my way of saying that I thought it was slow until I realised that I was in the quiet town of Aalen, where shops close at 1PM on Saturdays. So, no, it isn't slow per se, just...laid back. So why only three instead of four or five? Food was good, but not stellar. Coffee was good, but not great, though I do give props for pouring a proper latte macchiato. Prices seem a little high. I do have to heartily recommend the Austrian Walnut Bread. It's the tiniest place, but it's always PACKED with people, yet nobody seems to mind. They would see the fully packed bar, but just push through, nevertheless. It's THAT good. My top favs are Dr. Smoke, Jimi Hendricks, 4 Shizal and one that's made with basil, I believe it's something Basil Smash. Excellent service, fantastic cocktails, tiny space, very cool music.
