Die großen Kumpir-Grillkartoffeln werden in einem speziellen Ofen in ihrer Schale gegart, anschließend aufgeschnitten und innen mit Käse und Butter oder Olivenöl püriert. Jetzt seid ihr dran! Verschiedenste Kaltbeläge und Saucen stehen zur Auswahl. Fertig zusammengestellte, variable Vorschläge findet ihr in der Karte. Unseren Portugiesentoast gibt es ganztägig. Die großen gelben Croissants aus einer Art Briocheteig können süß oder herzhaft bestrichen und belegt werden. Anschließend werden sie geröstet und warm serviert. Zum frisch gemahlenen Kaffee servieren wir hausgemachte Kuchen und portugiesisches Gebäck, wie die beliebten Pastéis de nata (portugiesische gefüllte Blätterteigtörtchen). We were warmly greeted as we entered the place and picked a spot out near the display case with all the wonderful pastries. All three of us ordered a hot chocolate in addition to a cherry tart and a marzipan for sharing. Before we blinked, our drinks and deserts were delivered. Let me warn you though that if you are used to American Hot Chocolate then this is different for sure. I would almost describe it as a chocolate bar melted into a cup and nothing else. Very delicious but also very sweet. I loved the cherry tart. It was amazingly fresh and delightful and my favorite of the two. My wife and daughter though fought over the marzipan and didn't think as highly of the tart. The ambiance of the place was fabulous and the folks working there super friendly and helpful. I would definitely stop back in on a future visit to Potsdam.

Did my homework and came here after reading reviews for their ice cream. There was a long line up…read moreand lots of local tourists sitting in front eating their nicely presented desserts at this venue. Seemed like this was the best to-go place! Unfortunately, when our turn came at the counter, the servers totally ignored our existence and asked for the order of the German lady behind me. At first, I thought ok, maybe the other server behind is in charge of me and she was just too busy... But excuse me? People just kept ignoring us twice! I hate to say this but my mom and I pretty much stood out non-caucasian, it's impossible not to see or not remember us. We finally spoke up and the server, seemingly "confused," finally acknowledged our existence and asked for our order in English. Anyway, ordered 2 cups with 2 scoops each, one of ice cream with walnut/fig and Oreo, the other of sorbet with strawberry mint and apricot. They were quite good, but considering the mistreatment, I don't know if I would recommend this to friends and family. Shame.
