Being -10 outside i did not want to venture out too far from my hotel and this happen to be round…read morethe corner.. Having gone there there twice it was a mixed experience... the first day i went the restaurant was quite empty... the guy behind the bar recommended the farmer burger which was excellent... i wish i remembered to take a picture... service was also quite good that night..and they were prompt to serve me.. The second day i went back and the restaurant was quite crowded and service was lousy... as i was in a hurry i went for something simple like a pizza.... i could see the pizza being brought out by the kitchen on their serving counter and it sat there for about 5 minutes... eventually it was brought to my table and i was then made to wait another 5 mins for the tabasco by when it was just cold and disappointing.. although there were a couple of serving staff they seemed to lack coordination and appeared to both be serving drink only and ignoring the bell from the kitchen when something was brought out... I would go back for the burger on a quiet night perhaps if convenient...

Although pricier than a lot of foods In Germany they had good portions and they were good. I tried my friends duck and it was real crispy although could have more flavor. The fried pork in the schnitzel was good and the mushroom sauce I got with it paired well but you do need a lot to make it tasty. The fries were pretty mediocre but that's okay. The service was good as well

The portion was huge and the pork was fall off the bone tender. They were extremely accommodating of my lackluster German language skills, offering me a menu in English if I wanted, and were very patient as I tried to find the right words in German. I would definitely return.
