On my very first trip to Germany (to visit my daughter who lives in Munich) we ate here on the very last night of my trip. I ate at many wonderful restaurants during my stay but honestly, this was the most memorable and meaningful. Yes, the food was delicious was what really stood out for me was the service here. We sat upstairs in a corner (a table for three of us). From the time we were seated until the time we left we were very well taken care of. I can hardly wait to go back and visit Das Kukovetz again next year! I highly recommend it! read more

The pork was very tender, the sauce flavorful and the dumplings made the perfect pair in the dish. The dessert was well balanced in flavor, temperature, and good portion for one. The restaurant had a local feel to it, which made of the experience a more authentic one.
