Fantastic service, peaceful comfortable rooms & a WONDERFUL restaurant as well! Highly recommend the Pike-Perch plate

This review is for the restaurant Die Schwemme only! We decided to give their breakfast buffet a try and were very disappointed. The breakfast is supposed to be until 11AM but when we arrived a little before 10 it looked like they had ran out of most items and they were not going to replenish! Our server was very nice and attentive. She asked us if we want eggs since the chaffing dish containing scrambled eggs and bacon (which was empty) was not going to be refilled. The same was the case for different empty baskets of rolls, butter dish and many other items. The buffet is very minimal even with the items refilled to begin with. Although we could have asked for the missing items such as eggs and butter, it would have defeated the purpose of a buffet! The price is €20 per person and not worth it at all. On a positive note, our server was super nice and one of their cereals was the best cereal I have ever tasted. BEWARE of their no cancellation policy. My husband needs to go to St. George clinic for medical treatment and we had a problem with his passport so couldn't make the trip on the time scheduled. We were offered no refund Or credit for future stay. I let them know two weeks in advance we would need to reschedule. The owner is rude and heartless.
