I would go for zero stars due to the way I was treated at this location. i needed air in my tire, and stopped here to get some air at the air pump. Admittedley I had never had occasion to use a air pump where you have to pay, so I am willing to say that I may have made mistakes . i was not going to use a credit card for air! so I dug around and came up with a handful of quarters, and started feeding them into the coin slot. the air pump never signalled and the compressor never came on. i hd put three dollars in, tried to put air in the tire, and nothing happened. there was an older gentleman in a silver pickup truck passing out religious pamphlets who tried to help me., he said he would go into the store and see if he could get someone to assist. On reflection I should have let him but I told him it was ok, and I put ANOTHER 2.00 in quarters in the maxhine. I also tried to use the credit card gainst my better judgemnt. By this point I was pretty irritated but I went inside to ask for help. I waited while a man whom I assumed was the owner to finish his order with a vendor. He finally did, I thanked him for helping, he grabbed a handful of quarters from the register, went outside ans started feeding quarters into the pump, it beeped, the compressor cme on, and i put air in the tires, thanking him as I did so. As I was beginning to put the air hose back in the holder he began shouting at me calling me a liar and a thief , saying I owed him two dollars. I really thought he was going to grab me so after reafffirming I had put FIVE dollars in quarters in the machine, I got in my car and left. This was an awful experience and I will never visit that station again! MY conscience is clear but it was till very upsetting and I hope he realizes when he counts his quarters that i was an honest person only trying to get help with the operation of the air pump! read more
