Forget fancy artist pen sets, go for the Faber Castell set of 24 connector pens. That'll do the trick. Printers, computers, iphones, ipods, phones, external hard drives and all associated accessories can be found here. The staff are extremely friendly and really do like to show off their knowledge of the home office machines. "Oh, your Mac won't recognise your external hard drive? Well that's because X doesn't...". Yes, you will have those conversations and you'll love it because you'll walk out with the right bits and bobs you need. Let's not forget they have photo printing facilities as well as on demand copying services. Ohh! The joy. I'd walked past Jack's many times en route to Central station but never took notice that they replace cracked screens for a steal. Popping in, I thought there'd be a reasonable wait for the back to be replaced but in as quick as you could close your eyes and say "Superkalafragalistic" I had my phone back in my hand sans crack. All for $30. A handy spot to have for a clumsy lass like me.

When I went in to inquire about fixing my computer or buying parts, they did that as well. Brilliant. So basically the guys behind the counter are super friendly and are really good at explaining situations out to you in laymens terms so you actually understand what it is that is wrong for starters and what they can do to fix it. There are some situations like mine that meant that fixing my 'rig' would actually cost more than the computer itself... so it was a bit of a sad day for me that day. They also do viruses, have some basic software and cool accessories for computers. For those who don't really like to get into the technical side of things, they sell computer packages for what you need. What you want is a different story when you're on a budget, but they ask you what you need the computer for and formulate some sort of personalised computer for you... also a brilliant thing. I found them to be friendly, fast and have some quality products. Can't really go wrong... then again I have nothing much to compare these guys to.
