We've talked to her on numerous occasions prior to the ceremony and at no point in time did she mention bringing someone to take photos. In addition, It does not state in the contract that she is bringing someone to take photos. As a courtesy and a professional she should have asked us if we hired a photographer or videographer for our ceremony. We would have happily provided photos for her website. Her son is in the majority of our photos, holding his camera up in the background. They completely disregarded us and our photographer as if our special occasion was their ceremony. He stood in the front and center throughout the entire ceremony! He was not only a distraction to our photographer but also to our guests. We were later told by the photographer that she had to continually tell him to move so that she could do her job. After receiving our photos we contacted the officiant immediately, regarding her son's presence in our photos. Rather than apologize or offer a discount she became very defensive and blamed our photographer. Rather than ask us for photos she decided to disrespect us and our photographer to promote herself. She is very unprofessional, rude and selfish.

You said the vet said she was 100% ok with no eye issues and you said that in text even though their report said she did have eye issues. I adopted this sweet girl on 7/29. I noticed she was lethargic but I thought it might be all the…read morecraziness from being at petsmart then coming home with me. She refused to eat and the next day I took her to the vet for bloody discharge. They found a cyst and prescribed antibiotics. Two days later, I kept having this nagging feeling that something wasn't right. So I took her to my personal vet who did blood work and discovered she had a life threatening infection that required hospitalization. I opted not to put her in the hospital and brought her home with me, along with her prescription food, her NEW course of antibiotics and her probiotics. For the last two weeks, Elli has been on two different antibiotics and I've been praying for her to pull through. Luckily for me, she made a full recovery and DCHS refuses to take any responsibility for adopting out a sick dog or to reimburse the $1000s I've spent on medical care. Buyer beware of pets here.

I was notified that after they contacted my vet, I was not eligible to adopt because I was not current on vaccinations such as parvo, bordetella, kennel cough, heartworm test and medication. Why do you have to have the bordetella and kennel cough is the pet is not EVER BOARDED? The only vaccination that is STATE MANDATED is the Rabies. The rest of these are a money maker for the vets. None of this was a problem back in 2018. What changed? and do they have the right to contact my vet and get information without my permission? Is this legal? i am a good person, love all fur babies. Have had many dogs that have lived 18 to 20 years. Not even an interview. I know a way around all of this. We'll see if it works. Way to much RED TAPE TO ADOPT TODAY.
