He explained the rules of the road in a way I could understand and I didn't feel there was a "stupid" question I could ask. He is organised, thorough, patient and is great to have a chat with. His mock tests are one of the best aspects of his teaching. After having done a few mock tests, I was well prepared for my real test and it actually felt easy. As Steve has multiple advanced driving qualifications, I was taught a higher standard of driving than most other learners which made the lessons great value for money. He taught me how to drive properly and safely, not just how to pass the test. I truly enjoyed my driving lessons with Steve and would recommend him to anyone who wants to be taught how to drive by a brilliant instructor.

For example, she booked my test determined I was ready when i said id practice privately more to ease costs she began threatening to move my test further back withdrawing the use of the car for the test! I was also absent for ONE lesson with a virus and she said i was slacking off and held it against me ever since! She has shouted in my face manipulated and patronised me til I admitted I was wrong, she is a BULLY! From conversations I had with her previously this is NOT uncommon for her. Cannot vouch for her husband David but probably equally obsessed with rinsing you dry. LOOK FOR SOMEONE WHO PUTS PUPILS BEFORE PROFIT!!

I had approximately 15 hours lessons with L Plates Driving school as opposed to the several lessons with other instructors but was hardly ever close to driving standard! A very big thank you to Tina Rixon for simplifying driving techniques for me. Tina was not my 1st instructor! She was my 5th! She built back my confidence that was almost ruined with previous experiences from my previous instructors. Her unique way of passing instructions in a simple and easy-to-comprehend manner is so amazing. Unlike my other instructors, she hardly ever blew my mistakes out of proportion but would simply give me another opportunity to right my wrong. Now my status has changed! My Daughter has been having lessons since January, the instructor is always late sometimes only 5…read moreor 10 minutes and always returns early and never makes up the time at the end of the lesson .The last lesson she was 10 minutes late picking her up and returned 15 early from a two hour lesson ,so I paid for half a hour for nothing , the instructor is abrupt And misrable.Over a 4 week month my daughter is loosing over a hour of driving time and I am paying a hour for nothing .

My sister booked an intensive course and after a short amount of time, took her test and passed. They only let you do 3 hours lessons at a time as it is a lot to take in but they explain things really easily and keep you calm when you stall in the middle of a large junction etc. My sister, although passing is still a pretty awful driver so she's going to book one of their refresher courses soon.

Their instructors know exactly how to make you feel relaxed driving a car but also know exactly what to teach you to progress quickly. Even though I was really worried about driving at the start, I quickly felt at ease driving and always felt supported every step of the way. The great chat in the car made learning to drive fun! I always felt that they were great value for money as my instructor would never make me do a lesson if I wasn't gonna learn anything from it.
