I was kindly greeted with a glass of champagne, enjoyed the lounge, had my massage, then used the steam room and shower to get ready for the rest of the evening. Loraine, the women's locker room attendant, was SUCH A DOLL. I adored talking with her. She has such a kind soul and always asked people how they were, if they needed anything, and how their service was. I would totally come back just to see her again, she was so so nice!!! Wow wow wow hard-working women who really have never had a good deep tissue massage? Want to feel pampered like a princess go plant yourself here. Shelly was my masseuse and she was absolutely amazing. They start off escorting you in a relaxation room where they bring you champagne or cucumber lemon water, of course you can decompress in the full strength steam room, followed by a warm, heated, big soft robe and slippers, there's also snacks in the relaxation room. If you need a little sugar? Then soon, the whisk you off to a relaxing room with soft music, and you spend an hour of Bliss (worth every penny) to feel like a princess you are! Shelly got all the knots out of my back from travel, and you leave (free valet) floating home. Don't forget Sheree a lovely salad in the palm dining room seated. I'm brand new to Spokane and needed to find replacements for my regular services. This is the worst spa experience ever. I get a massage and facial monthly. I decided I wanted to try (what I thought would be) the best first in my new hometown. I decide to make a day of it and get a body scrub, 90 min facial and 90 min deep tissue massage. The individual who did my scrub also did my massage. My 60 min scrub was only 32 minutes and was insanely lackluster. When the same person did my massage I wondered if they'd ever given a message before?? Not only was it highly unskilled but the individual also was extremely inappropriate in their techniques. I'm not sure if the Davenport is hiring right out of school Individuals or just don't care if their technicians are licensed or not. It was so bad I even begged to talk to a spa manager and was barely acknowledged by the front desk. My facial was amazing though. I would go back for that one person in a heartbeat Please take your money elsewhere. It's definitely not a worth it here. read more

if you could give zero stars I would. My daughters and my appointments were messed up. Manicure was 100% complete waste of money. Not only did a separate tech have to complete my nails but she said she was embarrassed by how they looked. Nice testimonial. Was there an offer of any sort of gift card or discount no, nothing. The towels outside the showers were soiled and thread bare and when I pulled the sheet back for my massage for the second half of our "spa day" there were holes on the top sheet. I'm actually the one embarrassed for The Davenport. $500 I'll never see again. Other options out there at this level and suggest one runs to them. read more

My husband and I went for a couple massage on our anniversary. It was such a beautiful, and tranquil ambience. Our masseuse's we had were fabulous. I've gotten many massages and honestly this had to be the best I've had by far. I wish I could remember who did mine. He knew exactly where I was holding tension in my body and how to gently work out knots where I wouldn't have pain but was enough pressure to give my body what it needed. If you have any interest in getting a massage, I can't suggest coming here enough. That being said, due to Covid restrictions, I was a little disappointed that the saunas were out of commission. Not necessary, but with the amount you pay, it would be nice to have that available to help with some body detox. But hopefully in the future I'll be able to check out the amenities they have to offer. Following our massages, we booked for Christmas Eve, just because we loved it that much. Again, if you're looking for a relaxing, nurturing, and tranquil environment, I suggest coming here for your massage to really give yourself that TLC you deserve. read more

I have been here a few times now and it really is very nice. The complimentary mimosa or champagne is a nice touch. I have had a 2 gel manicures and they held up very nicely. They lasted over 3 weeks and I only had to remove it because my nails got too long. I have had 2 facials and 1 massage. Both services were very nice. Stayed at the tower and booked a 90 min signature massage. The spa is actually located in the historic Davenport which is across the street. The Historic Davenport Hotel was a beautiful building itself and worth the walk through. Spa is located in the basement. It was a wonderful and welcoming experience from check in to checkout. Someone greets you and brings you to the back where there are refreshments and little snacks. They also greet you with a free glass of champagne which was a plus. They have a aroma therapy sauna which you should definitely come early to use. Now on to the massage which was amazing. They did a combination of stretching me and massaging me. It was so relaxing and I felt like I got more than just a rub down. Wish I had time to try their other services. One of the best spas I've been too. read more

I love this place! They always pamper you with a complimentary champagne, and access to their Serenity Room and aromatherapy steam room. Oh, and did I mention, free valet parking?! Christina is so friendly and professional, and she did a fantastic job when she chopped off 22 inches of my hair (at my request of course) and gave me a gorgeous, stylish bob. Then, when I tried going somewhere less expensive for a trim and they really botched my hair, Christina gracefully saved the day! She's such an artist! And I learned my lesson: you get what you pay for. The extra dollar I spend at the Davenport is worth it! And their prices are competitive with other high-end salons in town, but you get those added bells and whistles like I mentioned in my first paragraph. Plus, the historic Davenport building is so fun to experience! read more

While the staff felt badly that they had not let me know before my two daughters and I showed up for Mani/Pedis that there was only enough staff for two of us to get services (they didn't record my phone number correctly apparently so I didn't get the message), it still was a bummer to have to do my own pedi at home because there wasn't time for me to get to done elsewhere. My daughters (bride and maid of honor) loved theirs and their nail techs were awesome but I left feeling pretty badly about it. I had been promised a 20 percent discount, which I didn't get, and my express mani was so express that by the time I got home, two nails were already ruined. I scrimped and saved for a year to give my daughter a beautiful wedding and really wanted to treat myself as the mother of the bride but because of poor communication, I paid $300 for basically two mani pedis. Don't bother coming here and go to the mall instead where you won't be overcharged or have your appointment cancelled without your knowledge. read more

Our whole experience from the very start was frustrating. Our massages were rescheduled the day before our treatments. We had a hotel room booked for that night that we had to pay for and everything. They couldn't get us in until a month and a half later. We were promised a 20% discount and extra champagne. I called the day before our rescheduled services to confirm the time. We were told our appointments were at the end of the day and we couldn't use any of the facilities or amenities after our services because they would be closing. Why would we pay so much for the experience of a nice spa if we couldn't use the facilities?! Absurd. I asked the front desk lady for our extra champagne, and all we received was a rude smirk. No extra champagne. After our massage, the entire lounge area, water, snacks, etc was shut down. I couldn't even get a cup of water after my massage? I have worked in several different spas and I would never think of treating paying customers this way. Will never return and will never recommend. read more

I am disappointed at the haircut, I did not want the length cut, that is what happened!!!! My hair was down to my sholders now it is up to the bottom of my ears. I stayed at the Davenport hotel for a week and saw that I got 10% off all spa services. I called and went down to the spa in person to get a appointment but such such luck for a couples Massage. I ended up being able to fit in a facial on the last night of our stay, which was great. I got Carly and she was really great! She examined my face and I got the Davenport signature massage with a focus on moisture and clogging. If you show up at least 30 minutes before you get to enjoy a huge private male or female lounge with complimentary champagne, mimosa, or coffee. Also you get to enjoy their aromatherapy sauna. Once I got into an appointment I enjoyed the experience so much. I actually wish we stayed another day so I could fit in a body wrap and couples massage. The other down side is I didn't get my 10% discount even though I asked if I get it so the day after I had to take my receipt back down to the spa before checking out and get a partial refund. In the end I will go back again but this time I will set my appointments ahead of time. read more

No option for gel polish, a standard french manicure was an upgrade, weren't allowed to do designs on nails as that wasn't classy. However the free champagne, mimosas and snacks were great. The spa is very lovely with wonderful spa therapists and hosts. The atmosphere in the women lounge was pleasant with verity of snacks and teas to drink. We had very relaxing massage and facial. The aesthetician was kind and caring and I know my face is sensitive, but after the treatment my face is oozing puss and I have now 30+ red oozing spots on my face. The esthetician told me no pain no gain but this isn't normal and it shouldn't feel painful. Just please be careful and let the techs know to remove the products when it hurts. I go here to get my nails done when I get a gift card. The spa is gorgeous, super ambient and you really do feel pampered. The staff is so friendly. However I am BIG on saving and being frugal with my money and their cheapest manicure is $50 and it is literally a glorified polish. Thats outrageous. No acrylics, just polish. That price should include at least a hand massage right? And it's even more expensive if you want gel polish. They did however let me reschedule my appointment without charging me a fee when my son was sick. read more

I have had several massages here and they have all been absolutely amazing!!! The spa is so nice and the locker room is great. The robes are very comfortable and the relaxation room is AMAZING! They have such good snacks and you can order lunch or snacks or drinks which are delicious! I always go as early as I can to maximize my time in there. The massages are the best. I have hip, knee, and back issues from being a catcher for 14 years and my massage therapist focused on those areas (she didn't neglect any other areas though!) and after the massage showed me a few stretches to help open my hips more! What a find! I was visiting friends in Spokane and decided at the last minute to treat myself. I was staying at the Davenport Towers and the Spa is in the basement of the older hotel across the street. I had a wonderful hot stone massage but the real highlight was my waxing with Carly! She is amazing- best waxing on my lip and chin that I have ever had. No redness or breakout which was good since I had a birthday party to attend that night. Pricing for services is reasonable and facility is very clean and comfortable. Be sure and allow time to use the steam room. read more

Every time I come home to visit I book an appointment with this spa, it's tradition I do. Every massage I've gotten here has been so satisfying and worth the money. The sorority room is nice and relaxing before the massage. The massage table they use has to be one of the nicest beds I've been on, room is usually perfect temperature and gives me a warm feeling.
