This driving school is terrible, and their customer service is what it boils down to. The first…read moreexperience for our oldest child was good, and we returned to purchase the online and 10 hour driving lessons for our second child. Unfortunately this experience has been subpar. Starting off with the first lesson our child had, it was supposed to be 2 hour driving time, and I asked the instructor how long would it be, he said 2 hours. Well, he came back with our son in an hour 20 minutes. That's 40 minutes less of driving time, and unacceptable so we wrote them an email and the response was that they'd have a discussion with the instructor. I asked our child when the next lesson would be, and was told July 17th, well that's 3 weeks from the initial lesson and a long period of time in between lessons. Fine, fast forward to July 17th, and the instructor didn't show up, our son contacted him, he calls and says it's July 24th, and not the 17th. Seriously this instructor has got to be the worst, unreliable and unprofessional one from this place. I called and advised the office of my displeasure and how unacceptable it is. All I was told is that they'd have a talk to the instructor and that it's normal for the first lesson to be shortened because they have forms to fill out. Excuse me? If you need clients to fill out forms, send it in advance of the lesson so they complete it, and not sit in the car filling out forms and wasting time. How is anyone to learn if the time in between lessons is 3-4 weeks as well? This latest experience with this driving school is subpar. Don't bother coming here, it's the luck of the draw on who you get, and heaven forbid you get the same guy our son has.

Alright here I am again (Rohit) and providing a final review of prepared driving school. Most of…read morethe people search driving schools in Calgary and unfortunately this school does not have prominent online presence so far. I think they are now fixing this shortly. I finished my 10 classes with Joginder SIngh today and here is a full review (objective and non exaggerated). Every instructor has an area which focusses on certain high points during driving. For Joginder, the high points are drivers behaviour at uncontrolled intersections, scanning your surroundings, super safe driving and superb defensive driving techniques. So in the basic course for which they charged peanuts (they teach you aspects of defensive driving which cost much more). Joginder is very generous with time and Sidhu and school has this service model (of providing more value than they charge). I normally dont do reviews but taking the time to provide reviews as this is my way of returning the value I recieved. Here are some things I learned after driving for more than 25 years around the world from this school : * At uncontrolled intersections, right of the way is one on the right. Watch this youtube video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pQr3KHIgQaI if you are thinking...yeah yeah I already knew this. Did you know parking bays are uncontrolled intersections and right of the way is with the guy on the right..I sat in a parking and watched for 20 minutes and every driver violated this rule...it seems no one was taught this important rule. ** How to behave at a signal when you reach a point of no return (Very very important for safety) *** Mentally provide a commentary of what you see ahead 200 metres ahead. (This will make your alertness of superior quality) ***** The multi-step parallel parking (did you know there are 3 mandatory stops while pulling into the parallel parking and 2 mandatory stops while pulling out)...wow I didnt know this.. ****** Pulling out from a parking (Did you know there are 2 mandatory stops) as per best practices ****** Learn 3 different ways of doing a shoulder check given the situation and response time (I thought there is only 1 way) ******* Watch the pedestrian signals when approaching a signal on green...when the pedestrian sign becomes solid...be prepared to stop and take out the guess work in when the lightIs will turn amber. Finally, I would highly recommend taking their insurance reduction course first and then start the driving. It makes a lot of difference in your learning. I will now come back for the advanced course with them in few months. Good going Prepared Driving School, Sidhu and Joginder...
