I wouldn't call this fast food chicken since they don't have a drive-through. When you do order at the counter, they make it hot and fresh. It usually takes about 10 minutes...if you don't wanna wait - just order ahead and go pick it up. I've done both and inside it is clean and fresh! Onto the food let's talk about this excellent chicken. These are not tiny chicken tenders. They are large juicy, crispy and seasoned in a way you might not think until you've tasted it and then you'll know you need this flavor in your life. For me, I've tried both the medium and the hot varieties and if you want a little more kick go with the hot because the medium is really like a mild. They have a great dipping sauce for the chicken and I also recommend adding some honey packets as well. The fries that come in their basket are seasoned to perfection, crispy and great in the sauce too. I have had their slider with coleslaw and pickle, but for me, I just prefer the chicken strips alone themselves. All in all this is one of the best chicken tenders I've ever had. First time here. I went to the one in Crown Point with my friend because her family loves this place. She said that the chicken tenders were massive. They were HUGE and it wasn't just breading. The flavor of Dave's hot chicken is different than some of the other hot chicken places I've been to. It definitely had a chili powder overtone. I think I got medium spice. It was good, just not what I was expecting. The pickles were crunchy, the sauce was tasty, the fries were crisp, and the chicken was really good. I have no complaints. Personally, I don't know if I loved the chili powder overtones but I would definitely go back and try some of their other items, maybe one of their Sammies. So my fiancé and I stumbled upon this place, kind of by accident last week. I will say I really love their food. The first time we went we tried the six piece cauliflower bites with medium seasoning. First off those cauliflower bites are my favorite thing they sell. I honestly might like it a little bit more than the chicken. The medium seasoning is phenomenal. There's so much flavor and you honestly don't even need the Dave's sauce that comes on the side. My fiancé loved the cauliflower single slider. That was also his favorite thing. He rated it a 10/10. The first thing I noticed was there weren't a lot of french fries and the chicken tenders were very RED. I ordered the heat as "medium." It ended up being hot still. They put the chicken on pieces of white bread. I don't understand that; I would have preferred the bread to have been toasted a little bit instead of just dry bread. The chicken was juicy and cooked through. I wasn't sure of the spice/coating on the chicken. It tasted artificial to me but wasn't terrible. It includes some sauce, which is similar to another chicken fast food restaurant - so it was decent! The fries were good too because they were covered with seasoning. It would have been nice to have a side of cole slaw or greens. This was not a very filling lunch. But it wasn't terrible either. The fries and dipping sauce were very good. Stick to the sliders. The people working there were very friendly and helpful. The place is brightly colored and clean. All I can say is delicious!!!!! Fun place to meet friends, or to dine with family. I think it's a nice unique catering option as well. I like that they added outdoor seating. My food was hot and fresh, and the service was outstanding as usual. I walked in and was immediately greeted by a friendly associate. She greeted me with a smile, and quickly took my order. I ordered the #3 which consisted of 1 Tender and 1 Slider w/fries. It comes with sliced bread, pickles and Dave's sauce. The slider was served with kale slaw, pickles and Dave's Sauce.
