Dave's pool store went above and beyond to help me with my pool and spa needs ! Highly recommend.

I have called multiple times during business hours and they said if no one answered they were with a customer. I have visited the store twice now during business hours and no one was there. They were great when we purchased our hot tub, but if you need products, etc. you might go somewhere that is actually open. read more

I could not be more disappointed with my customer service experience at Dave's Pool Store. We have been 13-year customers, always loyal to locally-owned business. Today I attempted to exchange or receive store credit for a $15.95 vacuum head. After using the vacuum for 15 minutes we found that the product simply did not work. When I attempted to return the product I was told by the Assistant Manager, Andrew Keller, that because the product was used it could not be returned (the actual language on the sales receipt is "no refund on used product"). I explained that there was no way to know that the product did not work unless it was used. Mr. Keller stated that store policy did not allow return of a used product. I asked Mr. Keller if he would consider issuing store credit and he refused, again citing "store policy." His refusal was a slap in the face of our longstanding loyalty and accomplished nothing but assuring that we will never return to this establishment. read more

HORRIBLE customer service. The lack of communication is overwhelming. We contracted with them to open our pool and they jerked us around for WEEKS saying that they were working on their schedule as we spoke and they would call us right back. They NEVER called back. I called 5 days in a row and got the same BS. A workman finally came out to open our pool and he manually opened our cover (not what he was contracted to do). It took him less than 15 minutes. Then the workman said he had to consult with his boss and would be back. The manager called the next day to say they would not be opening or repairing our pool. Then.... we received a bill for over $330 for less than 15 mins of "work". They did NOT perform any of the work they were contracted to do. STAY AWAY FROM THESE SCAM ARTISTS. read more

If I could give it a negative star, I would. Communication was terrible but they blamed it on high turnover of staff which could be justified by the extremely rude owner. Can't blame staff for quitting. read more

Had a new pool liner installed last month. I am a do it yourself kind of person but really felt like this might be over my head (pun intended)! I have used Dave's for lots of various parts over the years and they have always been very helpful. So I thought I would just let them do it. I was so happy that I had them do this for me. The price was good and the service was quick and the person that did the instillation worked hard and fast and had us up and running faster than I thought possible. The new liner looks fantastic. I put in an inground pool about 3 years ago with another pool company. The pool was fine, but the service was suspect. Not very responsive and didn't really take responsibility. Now we have an issue with our cover. Dave's has come out and worked with the manufacturer to get us a new pool cover. They have gone above and beyond for us. Every time I go into the store to get supplies, they tell me what I need and get it for me. They don't try to upsell me on useless stuff. Staff is always extremely friendly. read more

f I could give no stars I would. We've never had an experience like this before from any company. They sent 2 guys out...cleaned the pool dumped chemicals in, said they'd be back and then nothing for 5 days until I received a bill for the full amount due even though our pool sat in 100 degree heat all that time and turning cloudier by the minute. Since when do you bill the customer before you've fixed the problem....Then the "service" tech (not sure what type of "service she thinks she provides" calls after the business is closed for the day (Friday) saying they had no way to get hold of us and wanted to know if we wanted them to come back out???????? The invoice that I had already received even said from THEIR folks that they needed to come back out and that the customer had already approved for them to get it fixed. Two young men both told my husband they would be back out the next day but nothing...then the bill then the call on a Friday...Then they show up Monday night unannounced at 6 or 7 ish .. My husband was cleaning our still really bad pool and asked them to leave. The older man said "I told them to put you on the schedule" When I called the store and spoke to the "service mgr" she said she would have to talk to the owner, Megan. I got a return phone call today from the "service" manager saying they interviewed the men individually and that they knew that was not what happened. Basically saying my 61 year old husband was not being truthful. The customer was not being truthful...WOW. Megan didn't even feel it necessary to call us and we've done business for years with Daves. We will not be doing business with this company again. I believe something bad must have changed when the ownership did....Good Luck! read more
