I visited David Burke Prime recently whilst at the Foxwoods. The atmosphere was nice and the service was decent. The food was averagely good . Overall, it was a decent dining experience.

They do not have gluten free options. Service was great. Food was good. Very pricey I have been to other steak places and this is just as good as those We ordered our steak medium rare it was more medium well. Won't be back I expected more for the price.

Dinner special, macaroni and cheese with lobster. Absolutely amazing

After Gabriel Iglesias show at Foxwoods we decided to hang around and my husband was very excited to try this place. The food was delicious the service very good and the atmosphere very pleasant. Dim lights, tasty food and drinks made the night very special. The only thing that takes one star away was that the steak was undercooked and to request to make it right they send the same piece back put together, recooking the same steak makes it hard.

With a trip to Foxwoods, this one always feels like our go to. We always feel like the food comes out so quickly and we are always left beyond full. We decided for a seafood tower, corn steaks that were so addicting to eat, and the hanger bacon. We also decided for sushi rolls as a starter. It works for a group of 8! Everyone mostly got a steak for dinner and then we shared sides. There were sides of Mac and cheese, string bean, and mashed potato. Sides are big enough for two, so be mindful of that.

My wife and I went to Foxwoods for the first time to see Jerry Seinfeld's show. It was a birthday present from my wife and my Mother-In-Law. We looked at the reviews of all the restaurants, and this one had the highest review. Well, it was OK, and that is stretching it. In all honesty, I should know better than to eat at a casino regardless of whose name is on the door. Ambiance - CROWDED and CRAMMED is the name of the game. Pack them in as tightly as possible. Service - Well, it began well. Our server was very attentive. She suggested the more expensive items, which was no surprise. AS the night moved forward, the attentiveness waned. It was hard to get her attention when the meal was served. Cocktails - The list was impressive, but the value was poor. $25 drinks were the norm. Since it was my birthday, I got their "special" Manhattan. The only special was the $40 price tag. It was measured and light and not very good, despite the aged bourbon. Not worth the price. Food - They brought us some excellent popovers. They were light and airy. We ordered the housemade ricotta spread with fresh sourdough bread as an appetizer and split the Wedge salad. Both were well-made and flavorful. We decided to try the 18-ounce 75-day dry-aged rib eye. We ordered the roasted bone marrow butter topper for the steak and the creamy roasted corn, and the roasted mushrooms and caramelized onion sides. Well, the steak was thin. I would have liked to weigh it because there is no way that it weighed 18 ounces. It was cooked properly, but the steaks I age myself are better in terms of depth of flavor. The marrow butter didn't come out. The caramelized onions and mushrooms didn't come out. I asked the server. She said she would check. By the time they came out, we were halfway done. The onions and mushrooms were anything but roasted and caramelized. I was NOT happy. We did get cotton candy to make it better. I did let them know my thoughts, and they took $85 off our bill. It was still a poor value. Next time we go see a show, we'll take a Lyft to Foxwoods and stay and eat in Mystic.

Egg white omelette - missing side of fruit

Stopped here for breakfast on a Tuesday morning while staying at Foxwoods. They have a good buffet as well as a la carte breakfast menu. It was not crowded and we were seated right away. Beverage order was taken and it was nice to have my own airpot of coffee! Neither of us are buffet people so we ordered off the menu. I ordered the egg white omelette with toast and side of fruit. Hubby had 3 eggs over easy with home fries and toast. His eggs arrived over medium. Both his toast and my toast had hard, dry crusts that were inedible! My omelette was great - hot fresh & lots of veggies - but I had to ask for the side of fresh fruit. The fruit was delicious and fresh. We would eat here again when staying at Foxwoods!

I've been to a fair amount of steakhouses, from Chicago to Boston (and parts in between) and this may have been the best ribeye steak I've ever had. It was cooked perfectly medium-rare, and I wish I had more. Went perfect with caramelized onions and whipped potatoes. The wedge salad with BACON is definitely a must have, the bacon is amazing! If I have the good fortune to visit here again, it will be with more people so I can share more food and try more things. Highly recommend!

Food is phenomenal! Fresh seafood. My personal favorite is the seafood tower. There's a bit of everything for seafood lovers and very shareable. Braised short ribs was fall of the bone. Super tender and packed with flavor. Filet mignon was great. Cooked perfectly medium rare per request. French onion soup was delicious. Great onion flavor and the cheese on top was so great! Service was wonderful. Great dinner spot for parties or more intimate parties. Ambiance is more upscale but people do show up dressed casual. I guess it all depends on your mood. They have a 3 course prix fixed menu and specials like lobster specials! Highly recommend for steak, lobster and seafood. There's also a full bar and happy hour specials as well.

Delicious food, great ambience, and amazing staff. Our server was Montana and she was so friendly, very attentive, and made sure we had a great experience - she was awesome! Fried Calamari was a good larger portion and the sushi rolls were fresh and tasted good. We went on a Monday and I ordered the 'Monday Night Lobster Special' where you get one appetizer, one main course, and one dessert for $65 - which is a good deal, but there wasn't a huge amount of lobster included in my opinion, so next time I would order one of their signature steak instead. Overall nice upscale location, with good food and great staff, so I would go back again for sure and recommend.

I came here for lunch w/ my bf,sister, & her bf. We had a couples getaway in Foxwoods(that's where this restaurant is located inside of). I loved the decor! It was pretty cool especially the cow prints! It gave a classy vibe inside! I ordered from the lunch menu. I ordered the chicken parm sandwich & fries. The food took a bit b/c my sister's bf ordered a tomahawk steak(which takes 30 mins. To cook). Prime is famous for their dry aging process on their steaks. I believe his tomahawk was aged for 30+ days. The waitress was very attentive & nice! She made sure we were taken care of. She was on point! The food finally came out & I was disappointed. There was nothing but bread on my sandwich. It was super dry hardly any marinara sauce. The chicken was chewy. I should have just stayed w/ beef but I wasn't hungry enough. I tried the bbq short rib grilled cheese & the tomahawk steak as well. The grilled cheese was pretty good (just wish there was more meat). The tomahawk steak was overcooked. It was well done when he (my sister's bf)ordered medium well. It was really dry! No dessert b/c I was stuffed like a turkey. Overall, I might give them another chance b/c maybe it was just a bad day for the chef.Maybe next time I'll go for dinner instead of lunch!

An amazing food experience with my girl. The service in the few days and pick out I really enjoyed the expense of wine list and the martinis were some of the best I've ever had, the food is absolutely amazing. You get the powerful. It's an experience so sit back lags and enjoy the food and the people, I'm going back next month to do it all over again.

What a difference a couple of years makes. David Burke Prime was absolutely amazing for my wife & I during our honeymoon week, as I stated in my previous subpar review I think a visit from David Burke himself could help, well who knows, maybe he did visit... We started off with the Steak tartare with bone marrow, what a change of pace app, that was so delicious and melt in your mouth. For dinner I had a prime rib with a very generous portion of foie gras that was simply to die for. She had the 2lb lobster which was the smallest you can order, but still was huge, she barely finished. I'm at work right now looking at a calendar thinking when can we go back lol.. the cotton candy at the end made for a great conclusion to our amazing dinner. The flavors bursting in my mouth made my knees buckle, good thing I was sitting down. A+ Foxwoods, this was a legendary dinner!

We came here for breakfast during our trip. It was pretty busy, but we didn't have to wait and got a table. My friends got the breakfast buffet, but I got an omelet. It came with home fries, toast & coffee. It was very delicious and a nice portion. The server was nice, but not super attentive. Had to ask for coffee, water refills. My friends liked the buffet. It had a lot of options.

Do you need reservation for lunch?

You do not. You will get in for lunch. Burger is highly recommended!

Is there anything offered to children's taste? Maybe burger or something along those lines? Thank you.

My younger cousin is a pretty picky eater and he was fine. They have mac and cheese and the prime time menu has a burger. There's likely other things a lot of kids would like, too - it really depends on how picky they are.

It was the opposite at Hell's Kitchen I thought the lobster was amazing! The risotto was mushier than other risottos i have eaten. I ordered the beef wellington I had to after seeing it so many times on tv. It came with whipped potatoes, and a few carrots and onions. My husband ordered a steak that came with one larger onion. Even though I was told the wellington was more pink than I usually like. My husand's steak was more cooked then he normally likes. So we each ate half of our meal then traded. Both the wellington and hubby's streak were delicious. Both nicely seasoned. The veggies were Ok. Wish the wellington saw went over the mashed potatoes it was so good. For dessert my husband and I shared a chocolate raspberry cake that was good. But we tried my friend's husband's sticky toffee cake. Hence the term "casual fine dining", which is the most accurate way to describe the ambiance of Cedars Steaks & Oysters. Though the staff may be dressed far nicer than their patrons, the menu still mostly lives up to the casual fine dining standards one can expect. Mostly. Up front, I will say there was nothing I actively disliked. It's just that certain items could have been better. So, let's start with.. The bread basket: packed with 3 or 4 kinds of bread, wifey and I mainly enjoyed the pretzel biscuits. Warm, savory, buttery goodness is how I'd describe these. Intriguingly, they were presented with two flavors of butter: traditional and raspberry (yeah, raspberry). I couldn't tell you how the latter tasted because....it was partially frozen. Hard as a rock. I normally never bother commenting on something as benign as bread. However, the butter situation alone was far too bizarre and comical not to mention. 7 out of 10 overall. New England Clam Chowder: Since we're literally IN New England, I won't expend too many words on this one. Creamy as all get out with nice big pieces of clam, but lacked some seasoning. At least this restaurant grants us the courtesy of leaving salt and pepper on the table so...8 out of 10. Sherried Lobster bisque: Plenty of sherry flavor throughout the broth, limited actual lobster pieces (if any), but quite tasty. There was only one problem: the bisque was lukewarm on arrival. Not sure if it's always served this way or if it just sat too long at the pass. Either way, it seems like a rookie mistake. I'm sure it's normally better, but I gotta go with first impressions here. 7 out of 10. Prime rib: Okay. Full disclosure here - I'm a pretty harsh judge of prime rib due to being incredibly spoiled by this one place we used to frequent down in El Paso, TX. Let's just say the greatest prime rib we've ever tasted was seasoned generously with hot au jus on the side and the meat itself was tender like butter. Cedars got 1.5 out of 3 of those points. The prime rib was seasoned fine. The au jus was about the same temperature as the lobster bisque. Yet the meat itself....was tough to slice. It wasn't quite the texture of a tire or anything. But I would hardly be exaggerating if I said I was cutting each morsel for what felt like ages. Also, this thing is friggin' HUGE! Which meant by the time I got about two-thirds of the way in, I was pretty much full. Overall, not bad - but not really the GOAT that it should have been. 7 out of 10. Steak fries: These things! These are by FAR the best steak fries I've tasted in a long time! We're talkin' crispy golden outside with soft, steamy innards; not to mention, brilliantly seasoned throughout. 10 out 10, these are the gold standard of steak fries. I actually wanna try this place again, only I'm totally getting the Day Boat Scallops next (which are described as truffled lobster risotto, for some reason). In hindsight, I should have gone with this initial instinct. As it stands, I'm giving Cedars Steaks & Oysters 4 gigantic prime ribs with golden crisp steak fries out of 5.

One of the bartenders said she would come back to take our food order after finishing a round of drinks, but then never came back so we had to ask another bartender to take our order after about 10 minutes of waiting. We ordered the nachos with ground beef. Those were pretty good, I liked how cheesy they were. For our main meal, we decided to get two tacos each and the birria quesadilla. The tacos were good! My favorite was the Baja fish taco. It was very flavorful and one of the best fish tacos I've had in CT. I was disappointed in the birria quesadilla. It was just OKAY. It was pretty pricey for just the quesadilla and no sides. I didn't think the meat was seasoned enough. The last item we got was the fried ice cream for dessert. We got it because the bartender said it was a large portion and was pretty good. It was NOT that goood. It was extremely large...like almost too big. The steak was cooked perfectly (medium-rare and tender) and had sweet, tangy flavor. All in all, not a terrible meal, but the salad mix on a sautéed noodle dish wasn't that enjoyable. We also ordered an assortment of sushi. The sushi was edible, but the rice was too dense and mushy. We ordered the salmon, unagi along with other seafood and it was just OK. The service was good. So, uh....Junior's Restaurant & Bakery (not to be confused with Junior's Coffee Bakery just outside…read morethe lobby) is a casual sit-down dining experience which seems to emulate a decor crossing between Denny's and Whataburger. I realize I'm probably the only one who will ever make that comparison, but I'm sticking with it. Picture cozy booths but with the color orange. I think it's also safe to assume the majority of folks come here for breakfast. Ergo, that's what I'll be reviewing today. The menu is what you'd expect. On this day, I was in the mood for an omelet. Small caveat upfront for anyone with the faint of stomach: their omelets are composed of 4...possibly 5 eggs! On top of that, they STILL allow you to order one with an extra egg, if you wish. Crazy! :o I played it safe and went with a standard ham & [cheddar] cheese omelet. And like....here's the thing: proper omelet etiquette calls for shredded cheese, regardless of what type. The reason for this is so that when you fork your way in for a bite, the cheese doesn't stretch on for ages like one continuous string that won't quit until you chop it off with a knife (or perhaps a machete). What I suspect they did was either used long strips of cheddar or (perish the thought) stuck a couple of whole cheddar slices into the omelet and called it a day. Needless to say, it makes the whole eating experience hella awkward. Taste wise, it wasn't bad at all; though, it could have benefited from a bit of seasoning. 8 out of 10, be sure to enjoy with a knife. The sides were...fine. Honestly, the homefries and corned beef hash (which we'll talk about in a sec) were arguably among the best. Whereas that toast...*sigh*. Guys. Why are restaurants so petrified of copiously buttering toast? Shoot! I'll even settle for quasi-copiously buttering. Now, one reviewer claimed the corned beef hash (which is made fresh) suspiciously tasted of the canned variety. And honestly....I don't necessarily see this as a bad thing. See, I have this thing with homemade hash. Most of the renditions I've tried consist more of a brisket type textured corned beef; which either tastes over seasoned (I can't even believe I'M saying that) or seasoned strangely. For instance, the homemade hash I tried up at the Market Place Diner in Hollis, NH tasted like ranch for some reason. But, I digress. This hash was more of a minced meat texture that had a bit of subtlety to its flavoring which I can appreciate. Unfortunately, the side (which is over 10 bucks, btw) is not meant for one person. This portion could easily serve 2...maybe 3 persons. Eh, far as homemade versions go, 9 out of 10. And of course, the Mimosa was heavenly. Wanna know what really surprised us though? The coffee. I honestly thought we were about to be presented yet another pathetically weak breakfast blend most diners serve. But no--this coffee was bold in a way that would make even the likes of the Starbucks CEO go, "Jolly good cup o' java, ol' chap!" Service was sublime. My only other minor complaint is...the pricing. But really, it's to be expected of a restaurant that operates in conjunction with a resort. I guess I expected like, a near fine dining level of breakfast food for such prices. On the plus side, those $16 Mimosas include the entire small bottle of champagne. You just gotta ask for a little more OJ after your first glass. Weird. It's an innocuous little joint I wouldn't mind dining at upon future stays. Albeit a little pretentiously priced, I'm giving Junior's Restaurant and Bakery at Foxwoods 4 of the hugest fluffy ham & cheese omelets out of 5.

So I asked her kindly if we could be placed at another table that didn't have sun. She had huffed and gave an annoyed looked. But, did change our table. I had told our waitress about it and we got an apology from the manager. Next we ordered the bacon Swiss burger and the pastrami Swiss burger. Omg so delicious and juicy. The pastrami was so flavorful. The burger was seasoned and you can still taste the freshness from the beef. It was a good lunch and that made up for the rude attitude in the beginning with the hostess.

There's something about seeing the cooks working the line that adds another layer to the experience. It feels lively, energetic, and authentic. We started with a variety of appetizers because, honestly, everything on the menu sounded amazing. First came the bread service with two olive oils. The bread was light and airy, with just enough chew, and it soaked up the oil and sauce like it knew exactly what its job was. Next up were the meatballs, served in a rich tomato sauce with ricotta and shaved Parmigiano. The meatballs had a unique flavor thanks to the sausage mixed into the blend. They were tender, savory, and deeply satisfying. The sauce was chunky and well-balanced, just the right touch of sweetness without tipping into acidity. We also ordered the arancini, which came crisp on the outside and packed with umami flavor, helped along by the truffle sauce. One bite and you understand why these little rice bombs are such a classic. And then there was the cheese board, a nice variety that gave everyone something different to pick at between bites of everything else. For my main course, I went with the Pork Chop Giambotta. The pork chop was grilled beautifully, tender, juicy, and full of flavor. It was topped with a giambotta, a rustic Italian stew of vegetables that included fingerling potatoes, sausage, hot cherry peppers, vinegar, garlic, and onions. This dish hit every note on the palate, sweet, savory, tangy, and just enough heat to keep things interesting. One of those plates where every forkful gives you a slightly different combination of flavors. It was a great meal, made even better by sharing it with family. And the service deserves a mention as well. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly accommodating, the kind of hospitality that makes the whole evening feel effortless. A great night all around.

It was a wonderful day, after playing at the slot machines for hours, we decided to eat here. We were a group of 12 people. I loved the decor. Everything was painted in a dark forest green, with touches of gold accents everywhere. The chandeliers were beautiful. The food arrived piping hot and swiftly. I ordered a shrimp Singapore noodle stir fry. It was delicious and warm, with some curry and garlic notes. And of course, for me the start of the menu was...the delicious and garlicky bok choy! It's the best bok choy I've ever eaten so far. I just added a touch of soy sauce. My parents ordered a bowl of shrimp fried rice and pork fried rice. Everything was so tasty, that we ate in complete silence! The check was evenly processed...and I gotta say that for 12 people, is a good deal for $33 a person is a great, and a lot of great food that we ended up taking home!

We ordered crab fried rice, beef fried rice, beef lomein, general tsos chicken, Mongolian beef, five spice pork belly, and garlic Bok Choy. For soups we got hot and sour soup & roasted duck soup. This is just my honest opinions. I ate here long time ago when they were still authentic in red. This new upscale renovations also came with a change menu/chef. The soups were good but for the price, no way I would get that for myself and not share it. Garlic buk choy was standard and taste good. Fried rice was mediocre, lomein wasn't really lomein I was expecting; the noodles were thin egg noodles like what's in the duck soup. I was expecting thicker noodles. The chicken was ehhh, the Mongolian beef was not crispy like how I typically have it; I felt like it was beef stir fry with alot of onions. I had to look for the meat pieces under all the onions. The pork belly actually had great flavor and paired with the eggplant was delicious. This was probably my favorite dish we ordered. I would not be coming back I had better authentic Chinese food . I appreciate the accommodation to sit us together , but it could have been better.
