I've been going to milestone for over 30 years. Always respectful and efficient. Dr Leland is…read morefantastic! I have several chronic conditions and he has always been able to help even if he has to send me to another doctor for treatment. He knows my husband and children on sight. Once I had a ruptured disc and in extreme pain. He sent me straight to have a MRI. Then straight to see a surgeon (there's usually a long time period to receive an appointment). He (his nurse sandra who has become a true friend usually calls) always calls to follow up on my progress. After my heart attack they called the same day I came home. I never notified them. I honestly believe that Milestone is the best in the Upstate. You won't be disappointed.A++++++++++ Tammy D

Office manager and staff have not one shred of empathy for people who have been through losses…read more They are condescending, and have refused me healthcare multiple times today, and are beyond unprofessional when it comes to medical notes. They didn't explain to me at all why my request was continuously denied, these are women btw, you would think they would have a bit more of an understanding when it comes to pregnancy losses, and pregnant women with autoimmune diseases. Anyways, they lost three patients today. This is honestly the very first issue I have had over here so it's really disappointing. I have no issues with the doctors I have seen, ( Dr Pollard and Dr Jones-Moon, who actually did tell me two different things in the situation) but their female nurses and office manager both have awful bedside manner considering their professions. I and my mother spoke to these women today, and they are super caddy and unprofessional. All I needed today was reassurance and an explanation, and for some reason these two things are not within their capabilities as healthcare professionals.

Brio was recommended to us by our friends who go there. They could not say enough good about Brio,…read moreand we totally agreed with them once we went. Their facility is very modern and professional, and very inviting from the moment you walk in. My husband and I were treated so graciously, offered waters, (who does that anymore?) and did not wait more than 10 minutes to see our nurse practitioner Holli Johnston. She took her time to get to know us and our health, and did not make us feel rushed at all. She got to know us on a personal level before doing any health information and questions. She really genuinely cared for us as individuals first before anything else was addressed. We have been with Brio a year, and Holli. They always get us timely appointments, and we could not be more pleased with the care and compassion that has been given us. I would give Brio a 10 rating if they had it! And Holli is the best!!

Cannot recommend this practice. Claudia Johnson (provider)…read moreseemed knowledgeable for the most part, when i went for a simple annual wellness check, but referred me for further tests, which proved both unnecessary and expensive. I am a healthy male by objective standards. Blood pressure and weight in the healthy range. On NO heart, weight or blood pressure medications. My real issue was being required to provide all my insurance information in advance before the appointment... sending digital images of my cards, and then receiving a $1,273 out of pocket charge bill, including more than $500 for an initial office visit charge. A ~ $75 X-ray charge seemed reasonable though for a toe that I had stubbed and seemed to be slow and healing. I declined the referral for physical therapy on the toe. SMH. I called the office to discuss the exorbitant bill. And explained that I thought medicare would cover almost everything in it. They acted like they didn't know.I said I would be following up with medicare myself and expected they would be doing the same. Called back a month later and found out they'd dropped the ball again. And nothing had been done to confirm the amounts that medicare allowed. They acted like they didn't know I had insurance, and Medicare coverage. Of course.I got the run around saying it was the claims department fault, not billing department's fault. I reminded "Casey" that this reflects negatively on the doctor. I asked who should be held accountable, and she didn't like the question or the way she was being talked to so she hung up on me.

Covered by medicare and supplemental insurance, but I got this bill. More than $500 of this is the "initial office visit" charge!
