My new favorite chiropractor. I am a Navy Veteran with a LOT of joint issues and haven't seen a chiro in about a year now. I decided to go with Dr Jackal because he is close to my home and had great reviews (thanks, Yelpers!). I am so happy I did! When I came into his office, the left side of my hip/sacrum was really misaligned. So bad that, when laying flat on a hard surface, I was in pain on that side of my body. I was skeptical that he would be able to get it in place in a single visit, but was pleasantly surprised when he did. Pros: 1/Scheduling is easy, 2/accepts a lot of insurance, 3/very affordable without insurance, 4/great chiro, 5/easy parking Cons: 1/Not a real con but getting out of the parking lot was a pain at 4pm because of all the traffic coming through the parking lot, so be prepared for that. read more

I was referred to Dr Jackel by a friend. She was telling me how Dr Jackel felt her neck and asked, "how long have you been having migraines?" She'd never told him about her migraines. My husband and I had a chiropractor who seemed to work off of a check off list regardless of us telling him where we had issues. I wanted some attention given to my aches and pains, and I wanted to feel "heard". Well, I came to the right place! Dr. Jackel is a good listener. Once he knows what's bothering you, he gets right down to work. Dr Jackel was able to help me with my plantar fasciitis. He "adjusted" both of my feet! I was shocked at the popping that I heard and the relief I received. He also helps with my lower back and hip issues. Sometimes he finds things that I'm not even aware of. Dr Jackel is a soft tissue specialist. He actually started out focusing on massages and then decided to become a chiropractor as well. When he was working on my neck, just putting a little pressure here and there, I felt my sinus' open. It was crazy. I asked him is he was "messing with my sinuses" and he said "yup!" That really surprised me. He's also found some areas in my upper back that I didn't realize were out of alignment. He's got that "gift" where he feels your muscles and "knows" what's going on... even when I didn't realize I had issues there! Once I started going to Dr Jackel for chiropractic care, I was so impressed that I spoke to several people about the doctor. My husband, 2 daughters, grandson, sister and friend have all started going to see Dr Jackel and they are very happy with their new chiropractor. I have been to a handful of chiropractors and came across Dr. Jackel when I found out my insurance covers chiropractic care and I am so glad that I did! He and Debbie who works the front desk are warm, welcoming and very personable. I love that my adjustments here include muscle massage and manipulation. I feel better than I ever did at any other facility! I also love that I can make an appointment here and I am in and out very promptly as opposed to the walk in style clinics I have used in the past. Their accounting is horrific. I had been going to Dr Jackel prior to my accident and after my accident, my attorney suggested I use a different doctor. A few years later, I went back to Dr. Jackel for an adjustment. He asked me to update my information and I did .... little did I know I was signing paperwork that allowed him to bill me for services not rendered. I first came here because I hurt my back and Dr. Jackel was able to see me on a short notice. He is a wonderful family man who loves what he does. Trina (the receptionist) is a delight. They both make me and my husband feel right at home. I have insurance but for those that don't, his prices are extremely reasonable. There has been times when I hurt my back, I give them a call and they can see me that same day. Trina always helps customers and knows that last minute apps are sometimes needed and I'm grateful for that. I no longer work near his location but we continue to come here because they take really good care of us. I am eight months pregnant and began experiencing sciatic nerve pain. Friends kept telling me chiropractic care would provide relief. This is the best chiropractor I've been too. However I do wish he had a slight discount for students! Especially ones that don't have this covered by insurance! Buy into his methods though! He is more than willing to answer any question I've ever asked and given me plenty of pointers of what I could do at home. I called them on short notice cause I woke up in the morning with the worst neck/back pain I've ever experienced in my life. The same day actually scratch that the same hour they got me in there even though I was busy. The receptionist at the front was amazingly nice and caring and right off the bat new I was in lots of pain. I filled out the forms and two minutes later I was in a room. 5 minutes later the doctor came in he was super nice and very informative about how the pain formed. After about 10 minutes of work I walked out feeling so great. I'm so thankful for these guys being so nice and letting me in on short notice without a bad attitude. I'll recommend them to everyone.
