My mother-in-law fell at home and crushed her ankle and broke her leg. She was taken to the E.R…read more and has been in great hands since her arrival. She had surgery on her ankle and has been in so far for 8 days. She cannot put any weight on it and will be in the hospital for about another 4 weeks. I do want to point out and highlight one employee especially who has gone way above and beyond in working with our family and that would be Tena one of the Social Workers. She is very friendly and goes out of her way to help any way she can. She has been working with us and following every lead and suggestion to try and help with the rehabilitation needed for my mother-in-law. She thinks outside the box and does not quit or give up. She is the best and I say kudos. The hospital is extremely fortunate to have an employee like Tena on staff. Thank you!

He talked at us not to us, he wouldn't let my husband or I say anything, he talked above us. I felt like he truly believed I was stupid and didn't understand I was high risk. I am not stupid, my diabetes alone makes me high risk. He first told me to go home and hope the medications worked (I have 2 blockages at 70% and one at 90%). I need triple bypass. Then he said maybe call my cardiologist and ask to be stented when the cath report said I wasn't a candidate for stenting. We tried to rectify the situation but again his ego got in the way and I am guessing he was butt hurt because of my attitude and words. Now none of the doctors in his office will talk to me. Closest surgeon is almost 3 hours away. I have had some out there experiences with different doctors in my life but nothing like this. Please rethink this doctor and anyone associated with him. Because of this we have to move. And honestly I really hope karma pays him a visit!!

I then met with Dr. Bartholomew. Very personable, through, informative, I was highly impressed with both nurse and doctor. VERY pleased with my visit. Upon leaving another patient had a medical emergency in the hall. Dr. Bartholomew rushed to aid the patient and as far as I know was there until paramedics left with them. This is the Doctors we need, she did not stutter, hesitate, or look for anyone else she was right by the patient to aid them. It is good to see quality medical people who care about their patients, Thank you

I moved to Jackson TN in August of 2021. I was assigned to Davita as I was a PD Dialysis patient…read more Davita assigned Dr Oleru as my Nephrologist. I didnt care for him from day one but I was doing well physically and only had to see him monthly so I accepted him. Within months I was failing adequacy and had to return to Hemo Dialysis. It took them six weeks to schedule me to have my arm looked at in order to gat a graft put in to allow access for Dialysis. When they finally scheduled it, I was sent to a clinic in Memphis. That clinic was dirty and over crowded. They had an alternative procedure that was not 100 percent effective. I was then sent to the surgeon in Jackson, although that took Davita another six weeks to schedule. I saw the surgeon on 7/21 and had the surgery on 7/25. It takes six weeks for the graft to be usable. On 7/27 I nearly died, my blood was compromised due to the ineffective dialysis. I was in the hospital for a month. Oh did I mention that a temporary port that allows for dialysis can be put in. That procedure takes less then ten minutes. No explanation was ever offered as to why that wasn't done. I have since fired Oleru. I dis get on home hemo dialysis. Davita sent me a used, broken machine. I am in the process of changing clinics.
