The doctor seems very savvy and knowledgeable, and is willing to offer good care suggestions and answer all my questions. After many efforts to whiten I contacted Wyse to schedule an appointment to have the crowns whitened. I was told at that time they could not be whiten. Everyone strives for white teeth. Why would any dentist with ethics place yellow teeth in anyone's mouth? I am stuck with yellow teeth for the rest of my life unless I am willing to pay an additional $5,000.00 to have these yellow ones replaced. Yelp came through again!!!…read more Things don't always go as planned while in vacation. Last night while in Lexington, Kentucky at 11:30 pm my boyfriend's crown popped out. I yelped "emergency dental" and saw the post from a patient who had an emergency and was also on vacation. So, while on the road heading to Springfield, at 7:40 this morning we called Dr. Capati's after hours number and told him what happened. He said to call his staff at 8:00 and we did; they were able to squeeze in Stephen at 2:50 pm. The staff texted him a link for dental information (ie name, address, issues, etc) and by the time we arrived, everything was taken care of. He was done within 45 minutes and he said the tooth feels great. He's extremely happy and gives high praise to the staff and doctor.

I have made the call to do annual cleaning but it ended up be another "advanced" cleaning, named as: first time visit cleaning. This cleaning might be needed if you have not do your dental appt for more than 5-10 years, but for most ppl with insurance covered, we do cleaning annually, this advanced check make no sense, especially the dental trying to play the game to not mentioning specifically that they are doing a cleaning that will not be covered by insurance completely. So remember to ask clearly before they give you anything to sign!

So I have always had this massive fear of going to the dentist, and because of that my teeth have suffered. Coming here, I was wary. But the staff from the moment I walked in, to the day I got my teeth pulled, were absolutely amazing. Courteous and friendly, informative, and fairly attentive. I needed 3 wisdom teeth and two busted ones removed, and they helped me figure out cost options (to which we settled on the Care Credit with NO interest for 18 months). Maria, who helped us with the cost options even stayed 30 minutes after close to help us find a reasonable payment plan. And it worked! She was EXTREMELY friendly. Today I had the teeth taken out. They showed the utmost care for my well being during the process, helped me relax, and explained everything about the after care. Dr. Thevenin was pleasant, warm, welcoming, and funny. 100% WOULD recommend seeing him. The Dental Assistant Shanice was wonderful. She greeted us every time she saw us even if she wasn't directly helping us at the time. Her calm and up beat demeanor was probably what helped me stay calm during the procedures. Thank you Shanice! The bit of pain I had experienced was from exposed root from brushing too hard, something Aspen didn't even bother to address.
