Terrell, who prepared me and the treatment room for Dr. Butterfield, was friendly, supportive and made getting ready for the procedure almost relaxing. He attended to every detail, and was willing to even help me get off my shoe (foot was swollen). Dr. Butterfield has this calm confidence of a physician who knows his field. He gently debrided the injury, so much so that I didn't need anesthetic shots. He explained everything well. He was able to save me an unneeded appointment at instructed by the ER (duplicating services). I walked out with less pain than that which with I arrived. Sabrina, his assistant was very intuitive, she anticipated Dr. Butterfield somewhat like she could mind read. It speeded up the contact and helped him focus on his interaction with me. I was very please at my care at the Foot and Ankle Institute.

I found his staff to be very friendly and helpful. Dr. Yates himself is super friendly. I really enjoyed talking with him. He was very thorough, took x-rays when I first got there before he did anything else, and then diagnosed my problem. He gave me some steroid shots, in my foot and today it is so much better! I loved that. He worked so quickly, but explained everything he was doing to me as he went. I would recommend him to anyone, and I actually look forward to my postop visit with him in July!

Upon my second vist Dr Stewart told me that he was out of collagenase and would have to order it in and he would personally give me a call, well after waiting three weeks with no call I called them only to be told that collagangease is to expensive so that I would have to go someahere else. This is a real shit show at Coral Desert Foot and Ankle. This so called 'Doctor' looked me in the eyes and lied three times along with giving me false hopes. Be warnned, Coral Desert Foot & Ankle is the worst place to go, they should be put off of business and closed down.

MRI was pretty unremarkable, PT did not resolve the pain and EMG showed S1 involvement. He told me my foot pain was due to my back. S1 causes lateral foot pain, my pain has always been medial in the tarsal tunnel triangle. Finally went to a foot surgeon who said, "It sounds like and appears like you have tarsal tunnel syndrome." He performed a tarsal tunnel release and "wahla - my foot pain is gone!" Don't hang on for over 4-6 months w this guy...
