Seriously amazing service!! I bought my dress pre-covid and I went in for an alterations fitting with the thought I might have to buy a new dress. I gained so much weight it wouldn't zip!! The alterations women Luz and Reemah saw it and told me it couldn't be done but they checked and had the dress in my size!! I put it on and it fit amazing, they got the alterations set in place and now I don't have to worry about trying to find a new dress! The manager Zachary was also awesome! This location has literally the worst in person service. I made an appointment on a weekday morning. Appointment was confirmed. I completed the information for the appointment. I am shopping for mother of the bride dresses and a mother of the groom dress (both of my children are getting married in 2022). I showed up 5 minutes early and checked in. A girl showed me to a rack of dresses to look through. I got no additional assistance whatsoever. There were at least 2 stylists present and 2-3 additional employees. There was one bride and her mother and friends that one of the stylists was attending to. I pulled my own dresses. I was put in a dressing room close to the bride and in the traffic pattern of the employees. I had to come out of the room to look at the dresses as there is no mirror in the dressing room. Finally on like the 4th dress I came out of the room in, an employee offered to assist with the zipper. To my amazement, another supervisory type employee came over and scolded her for not attending to some chore/assignment in the back area. So the one person who offered to help went away. Despite all of that there were a couple of dresses with potential - so I went back up to the girl at the front and asked about color options. She looked at me like I had three heads. This is Dallas for goodness sake. Dallasites use to know how to shop. It was an experience. We had service and lots of quality to pick from. No more. I guess covid killed it. And before you tell me to go to Nieman's for service, I had a shockingly similar experience there last weekend. At least there, I had not set an appointment first. read more

I cannot say enough good things about my most recent experience at this David's Bridal. And it was all due to the staff and my personal consultant. Sarah was exceptionally attentive, dedicated, and really listened to not just what I said, but what I didn't say. She worked tirelessly to help me find something that I loved, was in budget, and I felt physically comfortable in (no small feat). She kept me encouraged and we even had the help of other staff members who were so gracious and willing to offer their insight and expertise to "make it work." There were some amazing sales, so some truly great deals, and I just can't say enough about the staff and their dedication to making each bride have the most amazing experience possible. I would highly recommend this specific location as well as Sarah, Eric, and their amazing manager Jonathan. They were incredible and are the reason I was able to find "the" dress! read more

I really didn't expect that I'd be writing this 5 star review. You see, since I got engaged (actually even before) I'd been dreading buying a wedding dress. I'm a big girl and the wedding industry doesn't seem to always embrace the big girl. I'd gone shopping at a David's Bridal in Austin last year with a friend who got married: it was on a Saturday and was crowded with girls packed into all the dressing rooms and each time they walked out they had tons of eyes on them as the guests of the various brides watched them try on dresses. It was fun for her, but honestly seemed like my own personal hell. So I'd been dreading doing the same thing. I honestly didn't even know if they would have dresses in my size. But then I read an article on Offbeat Bride by someone who was my size and she raved about her David's Bridal experience. My friends suggested that I go during the week, so it wouldn't be as crowded. So I decided to bite the bullet and book an appointment for the Friday that my mom was coming from out of town to visit. I was still really worried about the appointment. My fear got even worse when I had a gallbladder attack and had to have unexpected abdominal surgery last week. But I decided to go through with it. I'm so glad that I did. I made an appointment for 11:00, right when the store opened. Once I checked in, I was assigned Shaunelle as a personal consultant. I'll admit I was a little nervous about her at first, since she wasn't close to my size. I didn't know if she'd relate to my body image concerns - but she totally got it and had great ideas about what would flatter my shape and make me feel beautiful. We started with a consultation about my style and price range and then started going through dresses, with her pulling out things she thought I might like. Then came the whole trying on process and her helping me in and out of dresses. My mom and I asked a TON of questions and she was great with suggestions and able to answer practical questions about things like what materials would help with wrinkles best. She gave styling hints and also pointed out features I wouldn't have noticed - like hidden pockets. I loved her and so did my mom - mom couldn't stop raving about how great she was and that she felt like her advice was honest and not just flattering me to make a sale. She was also great in working with my physical limitations 9 days after surgery. I honestly didn't think I'd get a dress today - I was thinking that I'd have one made. I'd also heard some stuff about how David's Bridal had "cheap" dresses that weren't a good quality. However, my mom and I both were very pleased with the quality of the dresses and the good value for the price. I actually ended up buying a dress - and literally started sobbing so hard when I said yes that I had to sit down. They have a cool tradition where you ring a bell when you decide on the dress - of course, that brought on another burst of tears. They will also do alterations - I'm planning on getting sleeves added and will likely have it taken altered a bit in the waist to fit perfectly. They can also add a corset back to any dress, if you so choose. I also purchased their wedding gown preservation kit, since it's 50% off if you get it when you buy your dress. A few tips about David's Bridal - be sure to do your wedding dress shopping early. My wedding is in 10 months and it will take 4 months just to get the dress in. (Though if you're an off-the-rack size, they do have some in stock that you could take home.) I definitely suggest going during the week if you can swing it - it was very quiet and I rarely saw other shoppers. So I didn't have the dreaded crowd of people gawking at me. I can't say how relieved I am to have this decision behind me. And also that my experience turned out to be a lot more fun than I expected. And that I ended up under budget...so more money to spend on the big party! read more

I don't even think this place deserves a one star. From the beginning of my time there I had nothing but stress. For my wedding, they discontinued my girls dresses and never notified me. My girls had to pay extra to have dresses shipping in from other states. Anyways back to this location. When I went in to order a bridesmaids dress for my friends wedding, the manager told me the dress had been discontinued and what they had on the rack was all they sold. And I pointed out how that was funny because I could buy it in every size online. So then she proceeded to look up what stores had them available. After waiting she said "oh look we can order it" yeah surprise surprise... she just didn't want to do it. So I get my dress, and take it to be altered. First I take it to a local lady who says there is no fabric for it to be let out. So stressing out I took it to Davids because their dresses are supposed be able to be let out or taken in 2 sizes. Yeah, took it back to this location and for a $99 dress they wanted to charge me $85 for alterations. So thinking they were being nice they said no no lets figure this out come up to the front and lets talk to the manager.... Yeah same girl as before. You know what she had to offer me? Buy a new dress and pay a $45 rush fee on it. So that was their great deal on how to help me. Mind you, I still had my original receipt and tags on the dress. It was such a waste of my time to even go there, and I wouldn't advise anyone else to. They seem so nice and act like they are going to help you. David's Bridal was my second stop and I came in only with the purpose of trying on styles to see what I like so that I can order a dress from a website that sells dresses for a very affordable price. After telling Paul the style I like (which was completely different from the favorites I had saved on their website) he immediately pulled dresses that fit that style for me. The very first dress I tried on was the one I ended up buying. Not only was it gorgeous and more than what I was looking for, but it was on sale and affordable, which I did not expect. I tried on an ivory version, but I was pleasantly surprised to find out that I could order it in white, and if I didn't like it, then I could go ahead and still order it in ivory. Paul also went out of his way by getting different shoes, jewelry, veils, and headpieces so that I could see what the complete package would look like. It completed the whole outfit. I ended up only buying the dress since I have time to search for deals for the other pieces, but because of Paul I was able to have a vision of what I'm looking for. After I left the store, I read reviews online and found out that my dress came in a petite size. So when I called the store, the manager Jessica was incredible and helped me change my order to a petite. I was again pleasantly surprised to find out that when the dress comes in, and I realize that I like the regular size better, then I can also order that one instead. I just loved how the store was able to help me find out what was best for me, and that they gave me so many options so that I could have the best version of my dress possible. Amazing experience here. A friend and I went here after visiting the Mesquite location. I had little expectation since I had been let down miserably at the David's Bridal in Mesquite. To my surprise we received excellent customer service. Caitlin S. was our consultant. She took her time to answer all of our questions and help us find the dress that fit each one of us perfectly. She was candid, but professional. We never felt rushed. She offered us strapless bras, so that we could get the full understanding of how the dresses would truly fit. When a style that was not carried at that location, she offered to track one down at another location. She went above and beyond. We were registered at the Mesquite store, however due to the great service here, we purchased from Caitlin S. A couple of tips if you go. Don't go on the weekend if you can avoid it. If possible, schedule during a weekday. Make an advance appointment if you can. Ask for Caitlin S. And last of all, avoid the Mesquite location!!! read more

The first place I begin looking for my wedding dress, and the only place I needed! I was literally in and out the door in close to an hour and had found "the one." Of course, I did a lot of research on their website ahead of time and picked a number of dresses that I definitely wanted to try on - that really helped. When I tried on my dress, I knew right away it was the one I wanted. David's Bridal offers a great selection of dresses in all sorts of styles, and at affordable prices. Called ahead and made an appointment with Katie for dress fittings. She was a great help and was very attentive of my needs. She knew all the right questions to ask and pulled dresses for me based on my preferences (which were pretty vague, tbh). She was also very informative on alterations that would need to be made and had great suggestions for matching accessories. I made an appointment for first thing in the morning, which helped me beat the rush. That allowed her to give me all of her attention, which probably helped speed up the process as well. If there was anything that was a let-down, it's the fact that the shop does not have all the styles available online. They also didn't have any dresses in my size so everything had to be pinned back so I could see how it would look if it fit me perfectly. I don't think this is unique to this shop only. However, I'm not the type of person who would be willing to spend $1000 on a dress without being able to try it on in person first. read more

Dear David's Bridal, shame on you and your serious lack of customer service. Not once in the entire 2 hours of being there (with an appointment) were we ever asked if we needed help. We were never even called for our appointment even after checking in at the desk. Not only that, but when we went to talk to a sales person, no one even looked in our general direction, but did help other brides that had just entered. At that point, we should have just taken all ten wedding gowns that we found and thrown them on the ground. Then maybe someone would have come over to assist. If you're looking for a review revolving around wedding gown-shopping, go ahead and pass this one up. However, I can fill you in on the fine customer service I experienced at this David's location - these folks did a big favor, in my case. As a costumer, I had no need to try on clothing at David's - what I needed was a pair of shoes for my wedding day. Armed with a swatch from my gown-in-progress, I walked on in, stepped to the shoe department, and mentioned to the clerk that I was here to see shoes, and nothing else. That wasn't a problem - nor was the fact that I was aiming to save some cash, and really wanted to see the clearance section. I was treated with perfect friendliness, despite an assuredly small commission. I did find the perfect pair of heels - their uncannily vintage style could garner a review all its own - but they were bright white, and I was in need of the palest cream possible. Aaaaaaand within two weeks. Custom orders usually scare the cripes out of me, and I initially had visions of tea-dying the shoes with great trepidation... but as it happened, the salesperson was willing and able to put a rush on the order - for free. And the dying itself? Free, as well. In other words, I had found the ideal pair of beautiful shoes for less than $20... and the custom services weren't extra. As you can imagine, I was a bit fearful of picking up an unevenly-sprayed, nightmarish pair of sodden slippers... the day before the wedding. But no - they were impeccably matched to my fabric, absolutely perfect. I was almost stunned. Twenty bucks for the most wonderful bridal shoes... you can't beat that. In all, yes - I was thrilled with my shoes. But the service was what put the experience at a really high level - I wouldn't have expected that from a discount bridal store, but sometimes it's best not to judge a book by its cover. Went here on 10/30/15 with my mom. We had already been to 2 other bridal salons but I had looked through the website and wanted to try on a few of the dresses I had seen. I also wanted to get a preview of the bridesmaids dress my girls had picked out. The first thing that happened was the woman who was checking me in told me that there was no way she could guarantee that the bridesmaids dresses would be available by my wedding date (April 3rd) when I came in in 3 weeks with the bridesmaids. I asked her what I would do if I came back in 3 weeks and the dresses they wanted were going to take too long to arrive. "Oh well you'll just have to pick out something else." I tried to push that to the back of my mind when my bridal dress consultant came along. My first impression wasn't great because she wasn't dressed very professionally, jeans and a sleeveless blouse, so you could see all of her tattoos. The woman who was checking me in made sure I knew that this sales associate had years of experience. The sales associate went through the pre-selected dresses I had found on the website and then asked my size. She came back with two of the dresses I like and 2 that she wanted me to try because they were her favorites and she was sure I'd like them. I got the first dress on and it was too small. I mentioned getting a larger size but she insisted on just clipping it to the bra. I spent about 2 minutes in each dress before she would have me go try on another dress. After trying on 4 dresses she wandered off to find a few more. She came back with one that was nice and another that she insisted was what I was looking for because it was more fitted, however it wasn't the style I liked, being that it wasn't lace and have horizontal pleats. I tried on the lace dress that she recommended and it was my favorite of the 5 that I tried. She looked pleased that I liked it and then she disappeared, leaving me standing in the dress for about 10 minutes before I asked my mom to help me out of it so I could change back into my street clothes. If this had been the first place I went to I probably would have ended up getting that last dress. But I had been to A Curvy Bride earlier that day and had tried on a dress that took my breath away. David's Bridal gowns are cheap for a reason and I'm glad I went with my other option that will last through alterations, bridal portraits and my wedding. Yes, I am paying about double what I wanted but I have no regrets. Also- I am cancelling my appointment for the bridesmaids because I'd rather not have to EVER deal with David's Bridal again. read more

Thank God (I had my mom and matron of honor come in from Ft. Worth). All Teena did was ask about myself and my fiancé and our wedding style. Simone, Simone, Simone is absolutely amazing and great at her job! I came here really not expecting a bridal experience because you hear such bad things about big chains such as davids bridal. I was pleasantly surprised and really surprised I found my wedding dress here. Simone was so nice and accommodating. She asked about my style and wishes and pulled dresses that fit my idea for my wedding. I unexpectedly found a dress that I loved, bought it, and of course thought about it later and had a little buyers remorse. I was not sure that I had tried on everything I wanted before making that big decision. Simone did tell me that I could always exchange a dress, but no returns since sales are final. So I went back a 2nd time with a list of style numbers from their website of dresses that intrigued me. Of course I requested Simone the 2nd time as well. She again did not disappoint. She was so good and I tried on more dresses in addition to my original dress again. I loved my original dress and that gave me confidence that I made the right decision. This place is not a fancy boutique that you see on tv and expect champagne with high end designer gowns. You can't really compare the quality there with those designer gowns. But of course everything comes with a price. This place is good for people looking to stay on a budget but still be satisfied walking down the aisle in a beautiful dress. When my bff suggested David's Bridal to purchase bridesmaid dresses, I balked a little. If you know her, you'd understand why. Lets just say, she likes the finer things in life and $ usually doesn't matter.. lol. kidding. fyi , the dresses look awesome (slimming) That aside, I volunteered to call many diff stores around the nation to locate all the bridesmaid dresses and diff sizes. Took me 3hrs. This location had to be the friendliest, nicest, and most competent one!!! they shipped the dress to san francisco for a fee, followed up the next day to say it went out, and even gave me a tracking number. All other locations gave me a headache (milpitas, ca and las vegas, nv) and never followed up (luckily i received the dresses) I spoke with megan and she was extremely helpful. read more

I scheduled an appointment for David's Bridal for a Thursday at 7p.m. I attended set appointment and was extremely unhappy with the service I received. The lady that was attending me, while polite, kept leaving. She was probably gone longer throughout my 1 hour appointment than she was there. She did not make me feel like I was shopping for one of the most important days of my life. It felt like a business transaction rather than an enjoyable experience. I was asked right off the bat if I was looking to buy or not. I answered honestly, because I wasn't but that should not mean that I am not given the attention I deserve. Where do I start? I'm going to do my best to write this review with honest facts and not emotions. In my 12 months of planning my wedding, this has been by far the most stressful and upsetting experience...and I got engaged at the height of Covid. I had my original appointment two weeks ago. My dress as-is fits like a dream, I just needed it to be bustled and for a little extra fabric to be added to the sheer sides to cover some rib tattoos. My initial appointment was promising, I worked with Luz, who was attentive and fast at pinning my dress where it needed to be bustled. I told her about my need to add some fabric, she suggest I stop by Joann's Fabric to find something close to match, and make a second fitting appointment to see how that fabric should fit. This store barely answers the phone. I honestly can't tell you how many times I called to make this appointment, but it had to be in the double digits, it rings forever and you finally reach a recording telling you sorry, no one can take your call. Not even a voicemail system. I finally spoke to someone and explained why I needed a 2nd appointment, they left me on hold and never came back. I called again the next day and spoke to a nice woman who I also explained why I would be needing this 2nd appointment. She asked for my info, and got me on the schedule two days later. That brings us to the 2nd appointment, a simple 2nd fitting with the fabric I brought. We did what they asked, which was to text them that we had arrived so we wouldn't have to check in when we got inside. I expected some kind of reply, even something generic they send to everyone, but got nothing, so when going inside, we still had to check in. The woman working the check-in was so sweet, she checked me in and told me they were running a little behind. I'm cool with that. She also did a great job and checked in with alterations 3 times to try to get us back. An hour after my scheduled appointment, I am finally taken back with my mother who joined me. The man we met back at alterations looked utterly confused as to why I was even there. He asked me for my name, I gave him my full name, to which he asked for specifically my last name. I had to tell him 4 times, also spelling it. He still looked confused. Then, I am informed they cannot find my dress (mind you, I left it with them two weeks ago to be bustled). He asks my name again, again I remind him. He asks another employee to join his search, all while questioning whether I was SURE that I left it with them. "Is your dress with US?" Damn it, it better be! Luz, the woman I had originally seen, and had this appointment scheduled with, conveniently made herself scarce while two employees and a manager attempt to track down the dress I definitely left with them to be altered. I am convinced for a good 30 minutes that my dress, that I am absolutely in love with, was gone. And of course, they are not liable because it was not a David's Bridal dress, making them seem not very concerned and taking their time to search. It should also be noted my dress is in a bright pink bag, not hard to see. After them coming back empty handed, I strolled into the alterations room myself and immediately saw my dress bag. How in the world they missed a bright pink bag in a sea of bright white bags is beyond me. I found it for them. Their only concern was why was I there? My pickup date isn't for another week and a half. Did I want to take it home? Almost in tears, and shaking, I told them I was taking my dress home right then. They ask for 4 weeks to "work their magic", but they hadn't touched my dress, and still somehow confused why I had even made an appointment. I ended up leaving with a refund and my untouched dress. Also, the real kicker was that we then had to track down the fabric I brought in, because the original man took it from me and set it somewhere. I ended up finding my own dress and fabric I brought in. Bless the alterations woman, unfortunately I did not get her name. She was so sweet and wanted to fix my dress, but at that point I was incredibly disenchanted and did not trust the biggest name in bridal to fix my dress. Unfortunate. read more

Everything from the beginning to the end was a pleasant experience. I enjoyed the large selection of dresses here and there were a number of dresses available in my size to try on. My dress consultant was Shaneka and she was AMAZING!!! I had not shopped for a formal dress in many years and had no idea where to even begin. Shaneka was very helpful and accommodating and it was great to have service like that. Based on what I envisioned for myself, she picked several dresses for me to try on that fit the style I was aiming for. Shaneka even offered to take pictures of me so that I could see how the different dresses photographed on my body. I have only used the alteration department here and have had good experiences with the seamstress. Some other girl was back there last time in alterations who had an attitude but I think she though she was being funny. She got onto me for how I'd lied my dress in the dressing room. I paid for it didn't i?? Mind your business. I probably would not have purchased a gown from here. For some reason there always seems to be kids with food running around inside. Thanks to Shaunelle's help, my sis got an amazing deal during the semi-annual sale and was able to add accessories to her purchase and still stay under her dress budget. I will admit that as a New Yorker, I had been a little skeptical of David's Bridal, but it ended up being the perfect option for my sister. She did not overpay at all and got exactly what she was looking for. And don't be overwhelmed when you walk in! I came in for my first ever experience shopping for a wedding dress. It was just my mom and I on a Sunday morning and the store was relatively quiet-perfect! Leticia was our consultant and she was seriously wonderful. My mom and I were excited and really just having a lot of fun. I couldn't help but crack up at one particularly goofy gown and every dress I liked needed a dance test. We certainly have a lot of energy. Leticia was great at reading my vibe on each dress, and had really great comments and plenty of answers to my various questions. After my appointment my Mom had one for her MOB dress. Again Leticia was our consultant and again she was just wonderful. My mom is NOT your typical MOB and the dresses she tried were fun, funky, and a little bit bare. Again our consultant was on hand to help, answer questions, and make suggestions. We didn't buy that day-I cannot make a big decision like that so quickly- but my mom DID go back for her MOB dress! We made an appointment and again, do a little research ahead of time. For brides, at least for style and vibe. For MOBs, MOGs, Bridesmaids, have thoughts on colors and your body type. We were in a constant state of hurry up and wait. We got to the store about 15 minutes before the appointment, so we expected to wait a little bit for the stylist to be available. Everything started well. Once the appointment time came, one of the ladies came to get some basic info about what I was looking for. She pulled a dress for me to try, and told me that she would pass along the info to the stylist. After that, everything started to slow down. After getting into the first dress, it was 30 minutes before the actual stylist came, and asked me about the exact same info that was supposedly passed on. We tried on some dresses, but anytime the stylist went to pull something it was a 20 minute wait with no chair in the dressing room to be able to sit while she came back. I wasn't looking forward to shopping for a wedding dress, but I faced the music and called David's Bridal, North Dallas location. I called at approximately 4:30 and made an appointment the same day later that evening at 6:30. I'd seen some dresses on the website and I thought I wanted a ball gown. The woman who assisted me, Katie, was awesome and picked out the ballgowns in the store for me to try and I wasn't crazy about any of them. She suggested a few other dresses for me and we looked through a book together with lots of different styles and she gathered all the dresses they had in the store for me to try on. Turns out, Katie's instinct of going with a different dress was spot-on and I chose an A-line gown that did more for me than any of the other dresses. She also noted that various accessories could help the dress pop and she brought out a wide range of sashes to try on and they looked great! The dress was only available in white, but I wanted ivory and I wanted to make sure the ivory satin would work with my skin tone and off Katie went to find a dress with the same satin ivory material and helped me on with that. In the span of two hours, I found my wedding dress, ordered it, and have a decent idea of what I want to do with accessories. I didn't feel pressured into buying the "extras" (corset, petticoat, sash, veil, etc) which was nice because I know they work on commission. I did share Katie with another bride but it was actually fun to be on stage with another bride and we were able to give each other honest feedback and Katie worked very efficiently in getting each of us our dresses. We both wound up choosing our gowns and got to cheer each other when we rang the bell and it was fun. I would highly recommend David's Bridal for wedding gowns. I've had less-pleasant experiences in shopping for bridesmaid dresses here but I was always a walk-in. I'd highly recommend an appointment, I'd highly recommend Katie, and I would recommend going in the evening. Not only is the store less crowded, but you feel more doted on. And the store is open until 9!!!! Hugely beneficial for all with 9-5 jobs. Also the dress happened to be about 50% off when we went to checkout. I know this won't happen with all dresses (or most), but it was still AWESOME. Had to share. read more

Went into this location with a friend getting married to find her wedding gown. Her stylist had an emergency (car broken down) so one of the managers (Brittany) pivoted very quickly and took us. She did an awesome job. At the end of the appointment, we had a gown and veil that she purchased. Great job to the location staff for the quick response and fantastic service! I went to this shop when my twin started looking for a wedding dress. Everyone was very nice and she found her dess! Before purchasing the dress she said she needed the dress hemed a lot, add straps and have the dress taken in. Two women from alterations came out and said there wouldn't be any problems This is where I will only gice one star, alterations. So they start pinning the dress, but we all were concerned from the beginning that the way they were going to sew the hem there would be a visible line and brought it to the attention of the woman helping us. She said you wouldn't be able to see it. Fine. Now 4 weeks later here we are again. My twin tries on her dress and it is horrible. The hem is uneven, it now has the shape of a bell and there we see it, the line where they took up the dress. Again, we bring this up to her and she cut off myself, my twin and my mom everytime we tried to bring up the issue. She has been rude and trying to say everything is fine and it's not. I wanted my twin to enjoy this time as much as I did when I was panning my wedding. The woman in alterations have made this experience for her unpleasant and unenjoyable. I just feel if they would listen a lot more could be resolved. read more

Today my daughter, dad and I went to David's Bridal to find some bridesmaids dresses (for my daughters best friends wedding!). We had the most amazing five-star service. Not only did they pull and have dresses ready for my daughter to try on but they stayed and made sure they fit and checked how they looked!! They were funny patient and all 3 were sweet! Even the seamstress came out to help. Thank you, Cindy and the girls for everything. read more

I was in search of a formal dress and noticed online David's Bridal had a lot of options. I ran in on a week night and they weren't very busy. I was greeted and asked where they dresses were that I was looking for. The employee pointed in a general area and I was off to look. She mentioned there was more then one area to look in. I started my pursuit and came up with not much at all. I really only found maybe a handful of formal dresses in the clearance area but didn't find anything regularly priced. I looked around for awhile in hopes that the employee might come back but I didn't ever see her again. I wondered to the front of the store and didn't find anyone else to help me so I just left without much luck at all. I'm not sure that I would stop by here again since there was very little selection. read more

I was dreading my wedding dress shopping. It's my second wedding and I really wanted a low-fuss affair, but ended up deciding to have a pretty nice wedding and so dress shopping had to happen. I hate shopping in general, and trying on clothes specifically. Especially as a plus-size. My sister and best friend and I all showed up without an appointment on a busy Sunday afternoon. They said they'd try to fit us in if they could, but we were welcome to look around until then. So we did and I was still not convinced this day would be a good one. We found a few dresses that we had seen online, and a couple in my size that might work, but let me tell you, it's so hard to tell what a dress looks like on the hanger. You really have to try them on. The ones I thought I would hate, I ended up loving. But I was getting discouraged pushing through all the heavy dress bags and not really seeing anything that I thought was going to work on me. Having only 6 weeks until my wedding wasn't helping my stress level any either. I was going to HAVE to buy off the rack with only slight alterations needed, there was no time to order a dress in my size. After almost 45 mins of looking around, the Little Wedding Fairy made her appearance. Lauren is her real name, but I nicknamed her the Little Wedding Fairy. She had such an excitement for her job, for us, for me and my wedding and was totally easy to talk to and explain things to. She is small and peppy and cute and just flitted around the store bringing me dresses and helping me in and out of them in a jiffy! If I said I thought I needed a sash or a veil or something, within 30 seconds she was at my side with about three options to choose from. The FIRST dress Lauren brought me was not one I would have even wanted to try on. But it was in my size and I was desperate to just get something on. I put it on and came out and when I looked in the mirror, I couldn't believe what I saw. I saw a beautiful happy bride who was wearing a gorgeous dress that fit her perfectly in every way. There was still something missing though.....and once we put the pink sash/belt with the flowers and bling on it, the dress was complete. I couldn't believe it. I almost didn't want to try on anything else, but I ended up trying on two more and each one fit me perfectly and was gorgeous. Not one of them was the style I was going for or the neckline that I thought I needed. But the Little Wedding Fairy just knew! She knew what I wanted and what would work for me before I even knew. She's magic, that one! I rang the bell and a wedding fairy got her wings that day, my friends. Lauren turned a day I was dreading into one of the best days I've had in a long, long time. read more

Eh, I walked in was greeted.. just wanted to look for a last minute cocktail dress. Was helped, shown to a room and then pretty much left to my own devices. Ended up leaving empty handed. Definitely had better experiences. Also... Parking SUCKS at this location and when i was there.. it of course was raining! read more

Very nice group of laides that work here! We had an amazing time trying on dresses! The staff let us bring in cup cakes and drinks as we all tried on dresses. They helped us get in and out of the dresses and were very accomidating to all of us. even let us try on shoes with the dresses. There were about 12 of us and not one complaint from them about us getting to loud cause we were oh so excited!!! tons of dresses to choice from!!!! read more
