The lady with glasses and reddish hair was extremely rude to my friend and I. She said we needed an appointment to try on the clearance wedding gowns we selected. On the site, it clearly states that appointments are encouraged but not required. Just because we look young doesn't give her an excuse to treat us with hostility. read more

I don't recommend this place. I stopped in just to look, and the sales girl a young blonde working around 6-7pm monday Oct 10, was BEYOND rude. Glared at us because we picked up a dress, came and told us we won't be allowed to try it on so come back a different time. Didn't ask us if we needed help, didn't ask if we where interested in setting up a appointment. This "once in a lifetime" experience, what does that even mean? Once in a lifetime the customer service will be absolutely terrible? Unwelcoming? Yeah won't ever be back, and I can't recommend NOT going here enough. I hope that employee learns how to do customer service right to give others a "once in a lifetime experience" or finds a different job to fit her rude personality. read more

Just stopped in to pick out a bridesmaids dress for my friend's wedding this spring. I was immediately welcomed at the front and asked about all the specifics...date of the wedding, type of dress, etc. Jasmine was my consultant and so helpful. She immediately recommended a few dress styles that seemed like a good fit for my needs. She even brought over a corset in case I needed it. This experience was so fast and easy I wish I could have a consultant with me all the time when I shop! Jasmine even made sure my kids had a place to sit while I tried on the dresses. When I checked out I was given a $20 giftcard to Shutterfly which will come in handy for wedding pics. The price of the dress wasn't bad at all, especially since the style is one I should be able to wear again. My only disappointment was that the 2 styles I had seen online were not in the store to try on. But I am really happy with the dress I picked out. Now I just need to drop some lbs to fit into the 1 size smaller that I ordered. No pressure! Wish me luck :) read more

If i could give negative stars i would. I went with one of dearest friends to her appointment at 130pm Friday the 18th. Not only did the salesgirl, yes girl she was young and unprofessional, not assist my friend in helping her look through styles, she casually pointed us over to the clearance rack while she got the room together. Instead of the employee actually helping the bride get in and out of dresses i was sent into the room to do so; if you're not comfortable seeing women naked or in undergarments get out of this profession and never enter it. A good portion of the appointment (after looking through all the styles since we weren't shown what aligned with the brides preference) was spent trying to get her in and out of them. There was no box for her to stand on, instead the sales girl grabbed a pair of shoes after spending 15minutes looking for a box because she didn't know if they had one. After trying on only 4 dresses the bride was then rushed out. There was an offer to let her book a "follow up appointment that afternoon", to which the sales girl walked up front leaving us to stand several feet away for over five minutes before we walked up front to see what was going on. There was maybe 2 other brides in the building, there were at least 8 employees all standing at the front talking to each other. There was no need to be rushed neither was it at all professional or acceptable to treat a potential customer that way. Of the hour long appointment we actually saw the sales girl maybe 25minutes worth. I don't even think she gave us her name. The bride even informed the salesgirl and greeting girl that she wanted to order her dress that day as they had finally settled on a wedding date in early September of this year (2019). The first time I went I was welcomed immediately. The ladies made me feel like the day was all about me finding the right dress. However my consultant made me feel rushed. She gave me like 5 minutes to pick out the dresses I wanted to try on. I wanted to look longer but she kept asking if I was ready so I just said yeah sure let's try them on. That's more my fault I could have told her that I wanted to keep looking. I did a survey and there was a lot of things she was supposed to do for me that she didn't that I later found out about. At the end of the day I found my dress but I felt more of a sale to her. I went yesterday to pick up my dress and I had the best experience ever. They were all friendly as there were before but all the workers in the store just were more genuine about it to me and made me feel like more than a sale. When I saw the dress it looked even more prettier than when I first tried it on and when I put it on it was even better than before! I just wanted to follow up from my review a couple months back. (01/02/2019) This is by FAR the worst customer service I have EVER received. I will say, I got my dress that I ordered in 4 days before it was scheduled to arrive, which is great. I came in for my first fitting, which was the first appointment of the day and they seamstress wasn't even there yet. I brought my dress in and the welcome lady at the front took it to the back and told me it would be just a minute. The seamstress came running in about 20 minutes later, discombobulated and very unorganized. She came to the room I was in and asked if I had brought my dress and if it was a wedding or bridal party dress. I let her know I gave it to the woman at the front, the seamstress spent 15 minutes looking for my dress and then came back to ask again what my name was and if I was sure I brought my dress that day. She left and found my dress after another 5-10 minutes went by. I put on my dress which only needed a little bit taken in, she pinned me and I left. I came back for my next apt about 6 weeks later because my dress was finished, I get to the back and the same seamstress asked me where my dress was..... I told her I was called to come in for my 2nd fitting and it should be there because they were working on it. It took her 30 minutes to find my dress. I finally get my dress on, the pads she sewed on the inside of the dress (chest area) were crooked and showed in almost every picture that was taken on my wedding day. She argued with us about sewing another snap on the bottom of the zipper in the back because the way they altered it made a hideous gap. It took a few minutes of arguing with her to finally get her to do it. She said it would take 10 minutes and to come back. I left and came back 1 hour later. I get to the front and ask to pick up my dress and that I didn't want to try it on again. She smiled and said okay and disappeared into the back for 40 MINUTES! Finally came back with my dress which was fine except the chest pads. I WILL NEVER GO BACK, I will NEVER recommend anyone to go there. It just seemed really unorganized and unprofessional and I am super disappointed in the alterations department. read more

I had a courtesy appointment for 1pm today to try on the wedding dress that was bought and sent to me. I showed up to my appointment was placed into a room and told to wait for the lady to come help me. I waited 30 minutes and never seen anyone, I decided to have my family help me with the dress. We went to the front to leave and I explained to the lady what had happened and she told me "sorry, have a good day." I then turned and asked for the manager whom I explained the situation to again. I told her I had drove over an hour to come try on my dress. THE MANAGER told me that she would take care of it & wished me a good day. WHY DO THEY NOT CARE MORE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS?? I wanted to buy my veil & bra while I was there. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS STORE TO ANYONE. I can't believe how horrible the customer service was!!! read more

Picking the dress was not the issue- all those who helped were pleasant and didn't rush. The biggest problem is the alterations dept. They butchered my dress. It came out looking not thing like it was before, having said my "waist" was really high, they turned and a-line dress into a babydoll one. The entire aesthetic was gone. Then went to pick up my dress 5 days before my wedding (they had had it a total of 3 months at this point and were the ones stating they needed all this time) with the second alteration appt to add a belt I had purchased to it, a bustle, and cups - found the belt was not even added and the cups had a single stitch sewn into them. Girl apologized and said to come back in an hour. I did, belt was on, cups had not changed. I double checks and asked if those were how the cups should be and was told yes, this is all it needed. Took the dress home as I had no time now to try it on there. As I was putting it on, both cups FELL OFF along with the belt?! This was the last straw. called and spoke to manager that not only had they ruined my dress initially taking almost 6 inches of length off of it for my "high waist", but the jobs I paid them to do were so poorly done an amateur could have done better. Ended up refunding my money for all the alterations as the manager completely agreed. DO NOT USE THEM TO ALTER YOUR DRESS! It cost over 400$ for the shoddy work they did do and I was at least able to recoup the money, but now have no time to find another dress. Devastated to say the least. read more

When I started my wedding plans Davids Bridal was the place I wanted to go to get my dress. I remember looking at all the beautiful dresses and thinking there had to be a dress that's just ME in the store. After asking all my friends who recently got married about Davids Bridal I never got any positive reviews. I should have listened to my friends. I honestly wished that I would of just went in to try on dresses and bought it online. It seemed like every time I'd ask a question it was a hassle to the person that was helping me. I was told several times (because with store returns policies always changing now and days) throughout the months I've been dealing with them that I wouldn't have any issues returning unused items to exchange for something else. Keep in mind I was buying suggested bra,hair clips, and sashes from the lady that helped me with my dress. Later after altering my dress I found out I didn't need the bra and I changed my sash and hair piece to go with the hairdo I wanted to have on my wedding. I had to do exchanges twice on my new unused items and each time it was a hassle. At first the response was NO ALL SALES FINAL then I'd have to explain to them I was told different and THEN they'd exchange it for me. I just didn't like how I was treated as I was making their lives harder and a pain. I also overheard a mother/son walk in wanting to do an return to a sales lady there and 2-3 other ladies walk up to assist....to only tell the mother/son ALL SALES FINAL. I could over hear the mother explain that she was told at the checkout process that the item could be returned then one of the sales ladies took a big sigh out loud and asked them to follow her to the computer so she could see if there's "any notes in the computer about this transaction." Alterations wasn't any better. Some stuff wasn't done correctly and it's just annoying to have to fit my schedule around theirs to pick it up after they didn't finish it correctly. I can see why my recently married friends told me to stay away. I will not recommended any one I know to go here for wedding or prom dresses. My recommendations to anyone who wants to go here::: 1)WALKIN (because even though I had a timed appointment it doesn't mean you'll keep your sales lady mine was assisting 3-4 of us and would ask if I made an appt b/c if so she'd stay with me longer but it wasn't true) 2)find the dress and go home! 3)buy online (it might even be on sale!) 4)enjoy the dress and if it needs to be altered find an awesome person other then the expensive place INSIDE DB read more

Gloria at David's Bridal is amazing. I initially went in for a scheduled appointment with another consultant. I ended up buying a dress I didn't really like and felt deflated because my budget was really low, and I thought it was the best I could afford. When I went in to pick up my dress a few weeks later, Gloria was there. She could tell I had reservations when I tried it on. She spent more time with me talking about my reservations and my wedding than my previous consultant did in 4 hour appointment. I called back in tears because the longer I had my dress at home, the more I felt upset about it. I cam back in after speaking with her on the phone. With no appointment and my TINY budget.. Gloria spent over an hour helping me in and out of dresses, directed me to a whole section in my price range, and went above and beyond to help me find the PERFECT dress. She bent over backward to make me happy and do everything she could. I literally was in tears of happiness when I left because for the first time in my entire life, I felt GORGEOUS.
