I met with Ray at 4 Brothers and I asked quite a few questions to gauge how knowledgeable he was and his approach on the project. The roofline would require a few complex angles and structural changes. Ray understood what it would take and pointed out several improvements for the build that would save money and add value to the project. We agreed and signed a contract. The carpenters began the work on Saturday and in 6 hours have the walls and joists up. The work continued on Monday. Adian, Juan, Homer and the crew were very fast and efficient with materials. They listened to my concerns and were very supportive. They got them whole job done by Tuesday, on time and on budget and cleaned up the site. I've had several friends over since and they were really impressed with the build quality and thoroughness. It's really nice when you show off your project and the Monday morning quarterbacks can't make any comments on how this or that should have been done better. In fact, they were so impressed they wanted 4 Brothers contact info for their own stuff. If you're a low grade DIYer like me, you want help for big jobs but you may have concerns about the honesty, craftsmanship, and communication of a builder. We chose to upgrade our home by choosing a light gray paint and accenting certain areas with a darker gray. It came out beautiful. The consultant was my favorite part of the entire experience. She was patient, knowledgeable and you can tell she really loves what she does. She was able to make sure that we were confident about our options before the job was started. I was impressed that the job started immediately the next day. The painters were very nice and respectful. I couldn't give 5 stars because I had a few complaints; they didn't use painters tape (so the corners are not as straight as my OCD would prefer), and I just found an area in the washroom that was poorly completed. Yet, in their defense, there was a refrigerator there at the time and they left paint for touch ups as needed. I would definitely use them again, either way, as they painted my two story, 5-bedroom/office/game room/formal dining/3.5bath in a week, so I was thoroughly impressed. Tips: Use the coupon online or in the mail to get and additional $200 dollars off your quote. Get the paint that allows you to wipe up scratches or marks with a wet towel. It's a little higher, but undoubtedly worth it in the long run, especially if you have small kids. Make sure to inspect each room daily, so that you can address any concerns or complaints with them in a timely manner and not find things after the job has been completed
