Dr Davila, Delivered both of my babies! I can not begin to express the gratitude and the way she makes you feel at ease with something that can be complicated! Gives compassionate care! She listens intently and makes sure even just with simple GYN issues to make sure she figures out what can be done. Dr. Davila delivered my son 25 years ago. Very nice doctor and easy going personailty. Office appointments different story. I arrived 3/12/25 at 2:45 pm for 3:15 pm appointment for an annual vist. I didn't leave the office until 5 pm. I was walking out the front door and nursing staff coming out the side door going home for the night. The cleaning staff was arriving to clean offices in the hospital. I ended up taking 1/2 day vacation day in order to be paid for my time away from work. I am a patient person and I don't complain as I know babies come when they want to come, but to forget you have a patient in your lobby waiting who made an appointment 3 weeks before is not good at all. read more

I've used Davila as my Gynecologist for the last 4 years. She is fast but thorough. She makes the uncomfortable moments as quick as possible, which I'm grateful for. The office is extremely busy, so there will be a long wait each time (45+ minutes even if you bring the paperwork filled out), but I think that she's worth it. She will definitely listen and answer your questions, but make sure you're prepared. If not, the visit will go by in the blink of an eye and you may miss the opportunity- she's that fast. read more

I came home so excited to write this review! I would give her a MILLION stars! No one really looks forward to going to the OB/GYN, but when you have someone as SPECIAL as Dr. Susan Davila, it's actually PLEASANT and relaxing! Dr. Susan Davila and her entire staff (Virginia, Tavia, Sarina and Mary) are beyond AMAZING! I used to see her many many many years ago when I was married and pregnant, but left the practice because I moved (and my insurance changed). I am so happy to be a part of her LOVING and CARING practice again! I can't express my GRATITUDE and say enough WONDERFUL things about all of them! I was seen EARLY and waited no more than 5 minutes from the time I checked in! She is a rare GEM in todays modern world of medicine! She treats her patients with such COMPASSION and RESPECT. She LISTENS to you and does a thorough comprehensive exam. Her genuine concern for your overall well being is above and beyond EXCELLENCE! The office is so CLEAN and her entire staff is extremely PROFESSIONAL. They make you feel WELCOME from the minute you check in until the copay is collected! I switched OBGYNs to Dr. Davila's practice after having a terrible experience with my previous GYN and reading her reviews. At first, everything seemed fine. The office staff was pleasant, the wait times were decent and her attention to detail and my questions were on point. As my pregnancy went along, the office and visits with her deteriorated. The office seemed to get busier and busier and our visits seems shorter and shorter. She always burst in with an air of urgency. I get it, you're super busy and work in a very busy office. Even so, it never seemed like she had interest in the progression of my pregnancy or a complication that could have potentially caused a miscarriage. They began rotating me to other staff, most of which I found to have a better beside manner than her. I understand that whoever's on call will deliver your baby if your dr is a part of a practice...and that's exactly what happened to me. A Nurse Practitioner (Barbara Peluso) delivered my baby. That wouldn't have been an issue for me except for the fact that while I was pushing, I was told to stop for 30 mins to wait for her to arrive. Because of this, it caused my baby to be distressed. Her heart rate dropped, I spiked a fever and she passed meconium in my womb. She wound up being in the NICU for 5 days all because of a lack of urgency during my labor. Just to add insult to injury, instead of letting me know my insurance only covers a set number of prenatal visits, they didn't notify me and at a postpartum checkup told me I have a bill of almost $1000 that would need to be paid before I see the doctor. The first time I was ever told of unpaid visits. I can absolutely not recommend her or the practice she works in (at Memorial Regional in Hollywood, FL.) Side note: they lost their malpractice license and made everyone sign a waiver stating that they aren't liable and patients can't sue for any reason. Not a good sign. read more

Since the first appointment here, I didn't feel right. I went in to check for PCOS. My initial consult with Dr. Davila felt rushed and from the beginning did not feel the care and attention of a Doctor-patient relationship. Then, I went in for an ultrasound. They didn't give me the ultrasound image upon request, which I also found strange. In addition, when I called later to request my records since I would no longer be going to them, they said I had to go in person to sign a medical release form. Not to mention I signed a whole stack of authorizations on my first visit. Working in an OBGYN previously myself their policies are so absurd that I cannot even get my own records sent to me. Horrible experiences here and would not recommend to anyone seeking a caring Doctor and staff. read more

I switched to Dr. Davila when I was pregnant and the gyno I was going to demanded I have an abortion because I had grade 3 CIN. I wanted to have a home delivery and spoke with the doctor and that I wanted her as my doctor to follow-up with prenatal care and the removal of the cancer after the delivery of my son. Wait times were long, but she was a good listener and I got to the point quick, so that made it easy. The hold times on the phone were sometimes long, but I felt she was worth it. I had other procedures in relation to the cervical dysplasia and she was very helpful and honest. She is very caring even though they are a super busy office. read more

I love Dr. Susan Davila! Her office is great and she's super nice. She is quick and to the point but will ask you if you have any questions or need anything. She's very considerate and caring and my delivery experience with her was great! I had a high risk pregnancy and I switched to her about half way through because I had to have my baby at a hospital with a great NICU. I'm so glad I ended up with her because she by far has been my favorite OBGYN and I have dealt with many. If I do end up having more children she will definitely will always be my provider. Oh and you're literally over and done with most appointments in about half an hour!! read more

Awesome OB/GYN. Her office is located in the Memorial West Hospital complex. If you do book an appointment, try to book it first thing in the morning or after 2 pm. In any case, be ready to wait at least 20 minutes before you are called in. The entire staff is great and Dr. Davila is awesome. She talks really fast so be prepared for that and come armed with questions for her to answer during your visit. read more

Dr. Davila is quick and efficient. But where she really shines is in the delivery room! Her nurses gave her a rave review (she delivered some of their babies), and I totally agree. I felt I wanted more time during appointments, and her staff in the office are often rude. Nevertheless, she did a great job delivering my beautiful baby girl. read more

Stay away if you have a job: had 3 appointments with this office and all 3xs I was there for over 2 hours waiting. The 3rd time I got there at 150 for my 215 appointment and did not go in till 430. Waited in the room till 5, the dr came in fast and did what she did and left. They could careless about your schedule, very rude that they could make you wait this long! We make appointments around our schedule or lunch breaks and it clearly takes all afternoon at this office. You are just a number here, when you are having a baby it's suppose to be a special time, this office makes you feel like just another person having a baby! I will never go to this office and I will make sure I let everyone on Facebook and all my staff of 145 know not to go here. Worst office ever! read more

My wife and I went to this OBGYN because we used to live in the area and wanted to be close to our families when delivery time came. What a mistake! Where do I begin... 1) Every single visit felt extremely rushed. I'm from New York too (as is Dr. Devila) and I know we can be fast talkers but holy crap does this Dr. speak fast! Super long waits just to have your doctor come in and be back out 5 minutes later is NOT a professional way to do things! 2) Payment - This office is absolutely horrible when it comes to payments and processing payments. Apparently they have never dealt with insurance before because on top of charging us for a bunch of stuff that was never done, their #1 excuse is "Your insurance doesn't cover it"....very odd because that same insurance DID cover everything (down to the last drop) once we switched to another OBGYN. 3) Payment (part 2) - To top it all off, they were charging us over $900.00 for delivery/fees for a baby that still had 3 months to be born!!! How the hell do you charge a delivery fee for an unborn baby?! Stay away from this place like the plague. Ultra-long waits, super rushed visits, and insanely stupid ways to handle payments/pricing tell me this place is all about the money and not about the patients, at all. read more

I wish 0 stars was an option. Stay away from this place! They are the worst. I'm a first time mom and with Dr. Devila I always felt rushed and like she could give 3 F***'s with the progression of my pregnancy. Not something a first time mom ( or any mom) wants to feel. I had to switch to midwife Monica Jordan which is awesome. They are also thieves ( what medical office isnt?) I have insurance and its like they didnt know how to bill them correctly which is super ridiculous! You also have to pay them waaaaaaay ahead of time for the delivery and care of your baby and i mean waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay ahead of time ( I was only 3 months pregnant). I couldnt take it anymore so i left their office and now its been 3 months and they claim they sent out a check returning my money for the delivery and care of my child but i still havent received it. And the best part is when you call asking about YOUR money they give you an attitude and don't really help at all. Super unprofessional! Expecting moms stay away from this office as they will stress you out and no pregnant women needs to be stressed out especially by the people that are delivering your child. read more
