The lawyer working on the case, quoted me a price to update my trust fund of $2,000., all agreed and I signed fee charges, paid the funds and all the work was completed. When I went to make appointment to sign documents, was told I have over a $10,000 balance. After speaking with the lawyer that worked on my case, which has left this practice, he said his fee of $2,000 was fair for the work completed, extremely upset about what Ward Damon was doing. He attempted to contact Ward Damon law firm, but they would not speak to him about my case. I called Ward Damon Law Firm asking to speak with Mr.Damon and to explained what work was done, updating a Trust and sent him a copy of the executed agreement that was signed by myself and the other lawyer. He stated he had the right to make adjustments. Even the other lawyer did not know of the fee changes, and I was never made aware, until I went to sign the document. BEWARE, a contract doesn't mean anything, will never recommend or refer.
